monchimuttVN's 18+ Ren'Py visual novel Socially Awkward is a semi-linear furry story told through 2D CG artwork. It presents each character through emotional cues, reactions, and topics as you play rknight, a customizable insecure half-breed cat beginning college. You follow his daily routine, learn about other characters' pasts, and piece together the world around him. The game is a dating sim with romance.

The current build is ongoing at v0.31, released May 23, 2025. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, with no censorship. The latest update mainly overhauls sprites for Rask and Maccon, with small changes to Teer and Tom. The changelog also warns that saves may be corrupted or unrecognized, Android updates may fail due to a lost identifier, and some characters may chase the player in menus, so starting a new game is advised.

Socially Awkward is an 18+ semi-linear furry visual novel using emotional cues to portray the story of each individual character on certain topics and reactions. You are rknight (Name can be replaced). An insecure half-breed cat who just started his college life. Follow his day-to-day to uncover each character's past to get to know them as well as figure out the world around him.
