About Sol/Rui: Magical Girl of Another World
Sol/Rui: Magical Girl of Another World is a Japanese RPG Maker game by Enokippu, using 2D CG artwork. You play Rui, an ordinary girl who was in class one moment and collapsed in a cave the next. After fleeing a monster, she meets Sol, a magical girl, and learns that a crisis endangers both their worlds. To repair them, Rui must gather magic stones while facing combat in a fantasy setting that also includes tentacle threats.
Development is finished. The release date is December 9, 2011, and the changelog lists v1.02 as the latest build, which lowered difficulty. Earlier entries note v1.01 added a gallery unlocker NPC and v1.0 was the initial release. The game runs on Windows, is available in English through a fan translation, and is censored with pixelation.
Developer's description
It was a day like any other. Rui was in class one moment, then the next thing she knew she was collapsed in a cave. She fled for her life from a monster that came at her, and met a magical girl named "Sol". Sol explained a crisis that threatened both of their worlds. In order to fix the worlds, Rui needed to collect magic stones. What can an ordinary girl expect to do in a world of monsters, battling all by herself---!?
