Sorcerer's Choice: Angel or Demon? is a lush Boys Love fantasy visual novel featuring beautiful artwork and accomplished voice acting. The struggle between heaven and hell has never been so thrilling! Lucil has been left very bitter by the betrayal of the townsfolk, which makes him quick to anger and closed off from his magic. Can he learn to trust again?

Lobelia is a seductive demon. He wants his way with Lucil's body in exchange for healing him, and seems straightforward in his motivations. But can a creature of darkness really be so simple? What's his real motivation?
The Gay Tag Review This is a classic yaoi visual novel where everything is just gay (actually, the cast is especially limited compared to other VNs, with very little beyond the main character and the two love interests -even the MC's cat familiar has a rather background role, and always in cat form). You are a young sorcerer that is about to die with your grandfather in a fire set by the furious villagers, but at the last moment you can choose to be saved... from a demon or from an angel? Depending on your choice, you will follow a different story. The two are intertwined in the sense that the demon is the antagonist in the angel's story and vice versa (more or less), but the stories are pretty different and it's like having two short stories with not many choices and 5 endings (4 bad, 1 good) each. The demon's story is of course darker in its premises but the endgame is not that dissimilar. This is a rather standard yaoi VN, and the fact that the choices are not many allows for relatively straightforward exploration. The graphics are rather typical Japanese and the various sexual scenes are actually drawn quite well and are rather erotic. On the other hand, I found both stories rather bland. A lot of internal monologues, a bunch of tropes that the fans of the genre will recognise, and not much happening. It's rather well done, but kind of flavourless. Good for few hours of reading and clicking with the occasional sexy scene, but the game won't stay with me for long.
