Space Adventures is a Ren'Py adult kinetic novel by SpaceBall1, presented with 3DCG art. It is set in a far-off galaxy where Lord Cain spreads war and fear, while the United Galactic Assembly gathers on Kornea to organize military and diplomatic resistance. You play River, a recent academy graduate heading to Admiral Lonestar’s fleet, beginning life on a space military base and taking missions while trying to rescue her parents from captivity. It reworks the original Space Cadettes story, and its themes include a female protagonist, corruption, and voyeurism.
The current build is Episode 1, version 0.1, released on September 7, 2025 as an initial release. It is presented as an early episode rather than a completed final version. The game is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, in English, with no censorship. The changelog lists only the first public build, so the latest update is the initial release itself.
Developer's description
In a far off galaxy, there is a war taking place. The evil Lord Cain has caused chaos and destruction in many planetary systems, and has taken control of others. His cruelty is feared throughout the galaxy, and many planets submit to his rule to avoid death or slavery. But the leaders of the alliance, known as the United Galactic Assembly, have joined forces on planet Kornea for military and diplomatic solutions. A senate was formed and the fight between good and evil has begun. The military leaders started an academy to train and teach anyone willing to fight in the battle for peace and justice. The story about a girl named River, who has just graduated from the academy, and is on her way to join Admiral Lonestar's space fleet. River is about to start a new chapter of her life: living on a military base in space and going on missions for the United Galactic Assembly. At the same time she is working towards rescuing her parents who are prisoners of the war. This is a remake of the original Space Cadettes story.
