About Steam and Sorcery

Steam and Sorcery is an adult Ren'Py kinetic visual novel by Duckie, presented with animated 3D CG art. It is set in a fantasy world where magic is gradually giving way to new technology. The current build is Chapter 3, released on March 8, 2025. The latest changelog says this chapter finishes the game, so development is complete. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, in English, uncensored. The update delivers the completed ending after earlier chapters added new places, a new character, and more playtime; the initial release was estimated at thirty to forty minutes.

Steam and Sorcery is a fully-animated NSFW kinetic visual novel set in a world of magic that is slowly being overtaken by the rise of technology. The story follows a young woman named Zaza who is struggling to find her way in this changing world, pursuing her ambitions to be a powerful witch by seeking an apprenticeship with the most prolific mage in the city, Marion Rubie. But things turn out to be harder than Zaza had previously considered when she discovers her mentor is a lot more strict than she had expected.
