Stranded is an adult visual novel made by Duckytoast with Ren'Py. The player controls a young man whose life is at a low point. After a crash during a rainstorm, he wakes rescued by a hidden mountain group. As he learns their secluded way of life, an ancient power appears, and he starts to doubt the group's purpose and his part in their dark secrets. It uses 3DCG animated scenes and centers on a male protagonist.
The current build is v0.2.1, dated March 19, 2025, and development remains ongoing. It runs on Windows and Linux, is in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog notes fixes to animation masking and broken old-save variables. Save files from v0.1.0 and later should work, while v0.0.1 saves are broken. The update also improves performance and stability.

I first released the game and original prologue back in 2021. At the time I didn’t have the proper hardware to develop the game, so I ended up abandoning the development. I always intended to finish it though, so when I got good hardware last year I essentially remade the game and continued its development.
