Sunset Angels

Many of the scenes are reused assets of different older games from Crime, of course there are new things but it's not really justifying a crazy high score. interesting concept however, I do see potentials, just not from this current version (v0.6) yet. There are some assets looking suspeciously AI, which I hope they are just placeholders for a faster release cycle and will be changed to human art eventually.

Really good art! Love the animation, sounds and even some chilled music! Story is short but has potential. Needs more content and stuff to do. A bit repetitive with getting stats up! Only worth playing if more content is added.

The Goods - I like the premise of being a coach for a harem of fuckable girls because it gives agency to every character, it allows the coach to naturally have access to the girls, and more importantly its simple. Story practically writes itself, and so proves since theres no guarantee that this one isnt written by unpaid computerized slave labour. - The writing is good in that the dialogue flows really well. Its not a counseling session nor is it a pretentious essay written by a tryhard wannabe. - Theres no shit minigames...yet. Who can say if this will hold on. Most western VN tend to think its contractually required. The Bads ...oh boy, hold my beer - I cannot prove that this is written by AI, but either it is or the story's a weirdly arranged mess. Why is the rival coach so easily accessible in her rival's territory? Why does the rival coach think its a good idea to fraternize with someone shes trying to beat? Why does a barrister get more storylines than the actual team members? I mean, shouldnt the effort be placed more into team members so when they eventually win their first match, theres not only a payoff to all the hard work, but also an affirmation of their relationship towards the protag? So while the dialogues well written to the point of suspicion, the actual plot itself seems disjointed, like it is the product of human being who hasnt given much thought about the story....hmmmmm - The art of this game is immediately noticeable to be AI, which isnt a problem. What is a problem is the game having three different art styles in it. Theres the usual AI pics which I have to say is well done, theres the less impressive live2d which I cannot say for certain is AI because Ive seen better generated stuff and all of it is weirdly too consistent, and then theres the chibi artstyle which is presently the only thing I feel is actually drawn by a human being. I mean, if youre gonna use unpaid computerized slave labour to do the artwork, you might as well just stick to it wholy instead of insisting on three different artstyles. - The porn itself is not good. Its too short, the sexting isnt very sexy, and I feel games like these should have more elaborate sessions with multiple positions and choices. - Game pretends to be sandbox but is mostly a linear experience. Once you get into a quest it feels a lot like all the other quests locks out until you finish the current one, which becomes a problem when the next branch of the quest triggers on different days. So most of the things in between it automatically becomes filler because you cant do much else. The Ugly - This dev already has a habit of abandoning projects, and its not difficult to imagine this being yet another cynical attempt to milk the early crowd for a few months followed by abandonment, rinse and repeat. In Conclusion... So caveat emptor I guess. Play it for what its worth because at the very least its not terrible and at worst takes an hour off your honest life. I would recommend supporting the dev with your hard earned cash only if this game actually gets completed and not before, because if you buy into someone with such a shady rep and it eventually blows apart in your face, you cant say it wasnt coming.

Not bad so far, kept me entertained but it got pretty repetitive after the first several days doing the same trainings with the gals. Based on the history of the dev, I imagine this is abandoned by v0.8 but I'd like to see it completed. I was very generous with the rating because the 2 stars was pretty low for the offering. More of a 3-4 star game IMO. Lastly, the Dev's Patreon has wild prices to support them at all, kind of an all or nothing kinda deal.

High production values but it doesn't really come together into a good experience. The lack of content hurts, but more importantly the writing is very mediocre for how many words are said and the main "gameplay" appears to be repeating the same- painfully slow- handful of dialogues over and over dozens of times to grind out stats. If you REALLY want to see girls in volleyball outfits then knock yourself out, but everyone else will want to wait for a dozen or so updates and get a speedhack ready.

i have bad feeling this project will be abandoned, most animations are being reused from his old abandoned projects so he is not actually making anything new, also using AI for art, if the game will be finished i will change my score
