The Binding is an adult point-and-click visual novel made by KDD in Ren'Py, using 2D AI-generated CG and a male POV. You play the heir of the Foxxy Hole, a struggling tavern in Russet Hollow, after receiving it from an uncle you never knew. His note warns you to keep a back-room door barred at night and to read the ledger alone, but once you do, the ink marks you as Keeper. The failing seal is made of eight loose threads, each tied to a monster girl from a creature-lineage in the valley, and winning them back tightens the door, while losing all of them lets the thing under the floorboards escape.
The current build is the v0.1.0 demo, dated November 3, 2026, for Windows, Linux, and Mac. It is in English and uncensored. The demo presents the tavern setup, the Keeper role, and the eight-thread seal as the core fantasy, monster girl, and romance framework.
Developer's description
You inherit the Foxxy Hole, a failing tavern in the town of Russet Hollow, from an uncle you never met. His note says one thing: keep the back-room door barred after dark, and read the ledger alone. You read it anyway. By morning the ink has crawled off the page and branded you Keeper, holding shut a seal that has been quietly failing for a generation. The seal is eight threads, one for every creature-lineage in the valley, and the threads have come loose. Every thread is a woman. Win one back, heart and body, and a piece of the door goes tight again. Lose them all and the thing under the floorboards gets out. Eight threads. Eight women. One waystation tavern, one very old cage, and an enemy who has been waiting generations for one of your family to fail.
