The Black Mask of Cernunnos is a 2D RPG made with RPGM by bluedragondreaming. It uses AI-generated CG art and turn-based combat. The story looks back to an ancient empire that grew cruel and corrupt, sparking hatred and destruction. Centuries later, survivors have formed a new society facing a major change. You play as Niall, a young prince and son of King Duncan, who must forge his own path while a trusted servant stands beside him. The game includes gay and furry themes, with a male protagonist.
The current build is Demo V3, released on February 9, 2026. It is a Windows game in English and is uncensored. The latest changelog says Demo v3 added the initial zone release, so the demo now presents the first playable area. As a demo, the full story and later zones are not yet complete.
Developer's description
In the ancient past it was said that a mighty empire existed which controlled the entire with an iron fist, yet through the passage of time the empire became cruel and corrupt to those within its borders, igniting the flames of hatred within one who burnt everything the group. Now centuries later, the people not burned by the flames of hatred have built up a new society, one in which is at the crossroads of a change which will shake the entire world. In the center of the storm is a young prince by the name of Niall, a young prince of the great King Duncan, who will have to carve a path for himself from the world. At his back will stand his trusted servant.
