TLDR, my feelings can be described for this game as “a big, fat, MEH”. There isn't anything special about this game, nothing stood out in its construction (besides maybe the surprising varied patterns of enemy attacks). In my opinion it's worth a download only if you enjoy platformers with some decent enemies and boss battles, but that is about it.
Pretty good! I recommend it. Some bosses overwhelm you with ridiculous attacks, but nothing impossible. Good level design, no actual use of the great attack (green) and the music very repetitive at some point. Final boss was great. Anyway it was a good game. Yeah, yeah, kinda good h-scenes too of course.
The Buried Pillars is T.F.A.N.C.S.' attempt at a (much as I loathe the term) metroidvania platformer, continuing their apparent trend of making porn games of every genre under the sun. Unfortunately, this one feels more like an extended tech demo rather than a fully-fledged product. The controls are simple enough and the movement physics are fairly tight for the most part. (That being said, you definitely want to rebind the controls for comfort - I recommend a gamepad, there's no one-handing this game!) You have your basic movement and attack, a dash, and a parry move. As you explore the world and defeat bosses, you obtain upgrades to your health and magic, as well as more spells to use. All that assuming you can actually get very far in this game, however. The combat in this game is brutal , as it is built almost entirely around the parry mechanic at its core. Your dash has no invulnerability, so parrying is your primary means of defense; especially considering as most of the attacks in the game are either very fast, unreasonably large, track you aggressively, hit you multiple times, or some combination of the above. Also, parrying is the only means of building up stocks of magic, which is important for healing and other attacks. But because the healing is timed, certain enemies and most bosses will rarely give you an opportunity long enough to use it. The worst part of it all, however, is the occasional circumstances in which the game doesn't let you parry attacks- in which case, you now just have to be able to react fast enough to dodge the correct way. The absolute lowlight of this is a certain [optional] boss with no parryable attacks whatsoever, making it impossible to replenish your magic. For your sanity, play on Casual Mode if you just want to see everything the game has to offer in terms of content. There's no extra reward for beating the game on Hard Mode [nor the Boss Rush you unlock following that], so don't bother unless you want the bragging rights. This game is tough and mastering the parry is practically a requirement to win. The severe lack of quality-of-life in this respect is, I think, the game's greatest shortcoming. There are other shortcomings too, in terms of gameplay and content. Of the new abilities you unlock, some of them are pretty middling in how useful they are and clearly exist just to get through certain obstacles. There's also a Shantae-esque ability where you can use directional inputs to cast a spell, but there's only one such spell to learn and it only exists to be used in a couple places like a glorified key. As mentioned in the beginning, this makes the game feel like more of a technical demo, rather than a full-fledged product, with all the padding being in the enemy difficulty. As for the sexual content? Unlike T.F.A.N.C.S.' previous game [Hidden Realm of the Enchantress - go check that out too], there's not one scene per enemy in this game. The sex scenes are all either defeat scenes [one per area] or boss rewards; and while there's a healthy variety of male and female enemies to be found, only the females get any action. There's also no unique reward for beating the game, except for a scene with the final boss you have to go to the gallery to view. In the end, I do really want to like this game, but it sadly feels half-baked in terms of a cohesive product. I've noticed T.F.A.N.C.S. has a unfortunate trend of leaving certain vestigal mechanics in their games while skimping on potential quality-of-life features. This game in particular is clearly catered to the hardcore player, which I think unfairly limits the audience when you're making a porn game.
I completed the game on hard with 93% and I found the default control schema atrocious for both keyboard and gamepad. The game is hard. This is not the type of game to sit down and relax, the mid-game (Mine/Robots) is the hardest part of the game, since there are too many non-parriable attacks and the attack pattern of others is way too fast. Those areas are so hard that everything after becomes easy. The character control feel is mid, not bad or good, it is an imitation of hollow knight even having the pogo parry. I feel the platforming was way too simple. I wish it was more of the double jump and dash. The ledge grab is infuriating during combat, and later overshadowed by the wall jump. I wish it wasn't in the game and instead limit the number of wall jumps. About the H content, well you have defeated CG and boss won CG, I don't like CGs I prefer action during the game. Overall a solid short game, but lacking in many aspects.
i love big boobies. This game is very fun, the movement and character designs are perfect, i just wish there was more check points in some maps. i hope this game will continue to expand and release more levels
As someone that loves sidescrollers, this one has potential, but I don't think it reaches that yet. It's alright, I really like the defeat art and the naked art for characters and npcs, which is why this is not a 1. The artist/dev is definitely getting there though, I would rate 2.5 or 3 if generous.
I bought the game bundle and played this. Took me a couple hours. Ain't Too bad and animations are great. Animations are amazing like usual if you know the guy but sadly they are only defeat PER AREA and Bosses too. That's it. There's also 2 other animation which is the Hooded Goblin and the merchant when you buy everything too The game has a good menu showing you your power ups, upgrades and the map. You can teleport via this menu map screen so it's great to back track. So it's like this for me. -Amazing animation. Love the artist and will support the guy -Good amount of animation too. -That's pretty much it actually Now as much as i like this game there are some stuff i hate. -I hate how you technically only got 2 per area. A area defeat and the boss. No interaction with the one you defeat but he already said he won't do it so yeah. Shame -There's NO story. None at all. You just do what you need to do. No story to tell you what to do. No lore. Just wake up as a mage stuck in a crystal as a female goblin uses your dick to fuck, then youo break out to free your people and you have no idea how this whole thing started. I like a good story and lore but this just drops you in with no objection to tell you what's going on. -The ending is just.....lame. That's all i have to say. You Defeat the final boss, you free your people, you slowly get up and then it cuts to a Female mage hugging you then end. Game's done. you win. No reward with them. Just unlock a boss rush. -The controls kind of suck but it works. Maybe cause i was playing on key board and not controller but yeah -They have MALE enemies but they don't got anything. They are just there All and all i give this a 4/5 stars. Short game and i love the artist. Support the game if you can.
The controls on this game are cancerous, and some mechanics make the game unplayable or extremely tedious I love these kind of games; Combat platformer with porn included. But if I can't enjoy it then what the hell?
4/5 If you consider it a hentai game, it is 3/5 at best. But if you consider it a normal side-scrolling puzzle platformer with hentai elements, it could bump up to 4/5. I quite like that game, but there are three caveats for this game (or problems), so to speak. The first is that the game is difficult. Secondly, even though I personally quite like the CG, not everyone will like it. Third, the amount of animated CG in this game is quite few, only about 15 if I remember correctly, which is far fewer than in Hidden Realm of the Enchantress. I can quite easily imagine many people simply dropping the game midway through a run and never picking it up again. I will divide the review into two categories: “as a normal game” and “as a hentai game,” and give a separate opinion for each. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- As a Normal Game The map design is very good. You rarely get lost, especially now that the game includes a map. I checked some earlier posts saying that the game did not have a map function in early access, and if I had played that version of the game, I certainly wouldn’t have even come close to completing it. The progression feels natural, and the ability to parry enemy attacks feels pretty good. That’s the reason I think, as a platformer, it deserves a 4/5 (at least high 3/5), but even though the map itself is well designed, it is not presented in a particularly impressive graphical way. Also, the ability to combo attacks is very limited. You cannot really mix different elements to make combat more interesting. There are also many recurring enemies, often simply reusing existing artwork with only a color change, which feels a little bit lame here and there. But overall, as a platformer game, I would still recommend playing it. In terms of difficulty, I really struggled to beat the final boss, especially since you cannot carry your orbs into the final fight. It always reverts back to one orb, which greatly increases the difficulty. 1 orb means you can only heal once, and there are not many attacks that can be parried to regain orbs, resulting in many players being unable to finish the game, no matter what. I think that, beyond the easy difficulty, there should be something like a “babysitting” difficulty that appears after dying too many times to the same boss. In the end, it’s mostly a hentai game—why lock players out when they clearly can not progress? The game’s strong point is the map design and progression, not the combat design. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ As a Hentai Game On the other hand, as a hentai game, it’s another story. The animated CGs are few and far between during gameplay. You get one H-CG if you are defeated on the map, and one CG after beating the stage boss (which is standard). However, there are no animated H-CGs for common enemies. In some more elaborate games, you get one CG after defeating a common enemy and another H-CG if you lose to a common enemy. Here, you don’t even get a unique H-CG after losing to the boss. You only get one after beating the boss. Paired with the aforementioned problem that not everyone likes this art style, the game struggles as a hentai game. For those who don’t particularly enjoy this type of animated CG, the style may not appeal to them. But even for people who do like it (like me), the quantity of CG simply isn’t enough to satisfy players who came for that content. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This results in a two-way problem: People who don’t like the style or cannot finish the game will dislike it, while those who do like it and finish the game will feel that there isn’t enough CG content to call it a good hentai game. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall Verdict If you think this game might appeal to you, it is definitely worth trying. However, I would say it’s not as good as the first game. The first game was a card-based game that almost anyone could play, while this one is a platformer—not everyone enjoys or can handle a difficult platformer. And even for those who do enjoy the game, there simply aren’t enough CG scenes to fully satisfy players looking for that content. So that’s the situation.
If you are a fan of Metroidvania like game and you also want some NSFW content then you must play this game. The game is almost complete on gameplay. But a little bit of the enemies or bosses are bad designed so I give it 4 stars. It's a indie NSFW game so that's rare. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO ARE BAD ON ACT PLAFORM GAMES.
Finished the Hard Mode on Version 0.11 with 88% completion. It took me about 4 hours or so blitzing the game and it's upgrades. This is a game that wants to be the Nine Sols of H-games. Healing and spells are based off of parrying attacks. In it's current version, you WILL die and you WILL get frustrated before you get your nut off. The Pros: T.F.A.N.C.S. has a unique and genuinely fun art style. The characters all have fun, cute, and sexy designs The animations, while sparse, are stellar The movement and parrying feels crisp and good to handle The gameplay is fun for people who beat SilkSong in Steel Soul (No Deaths Allowed) Mode Giant women :3 Now before the cons, let me be clear. I like this game. It has potential. But if things continue unaddressed, anyone trying to beat their meat will be beating their table out of pure rage and frustration instead. The Cons Because parrying is linked to healing, you often farm for parries to heal which can be a slog. The difficulty can be BRUTAL at times. Parrying can be difficult at times because of unclear attacks. Getting hit from something off-screen feels unfair and getting combo'd from multiple hits sucks I know this is a metroidvania and backtracking is part of the game, but with the movement system it feels very much like a chore. Probably should have started with this but the fap material is scarce. A fail screen and a win screen for bosses, about 20 scenes in total. A small loop and a cum scene. No alternative or changing positions. I have a soft spot for this art style so I will suggest a few improvements. I WANT this game to do well! Improvements MORE SEX! They don't need to be full animations but let us do the mobs!!! If you want something consensual, just make up a curse or something!!! No golbin puss puss is insane!!!! More heal slots, more gauge filled per-parry, or something of the sort would make the game much more forgiving More Attack indicators. The current system either requires you to get hit first and learn the attack patterns. The current system is beatable, but it's a pain to die to something off-screen or an attack that needs to be parried from a specific direction. If you need inspiration, Scarlet Maiden and Flip Witch - Forbidden Sex Hex have good system Invincibility after being hit. Getting ABSOLUTELY WALLOPED from one miss-step sucks ass The map can be confusing. Maybe a color indicator for "visited rooms" would be better than "proximity reveal" TL R: Play this game if you want some cute animations, a solid, if not challenging game, and be prepared to cry when you fight the bosses.
God awful enemies and infuriating parry timing in the mid-late game, the final boss is more manageable than some enemies I swear. The game have barebones NSFW that only unlocks when you beat each boss and you only have Game over animations + 2 other NPC, The rest of the enemies? None. Even if they have huge dicks and swaying boobs and etc, there's no interaction with them besides beating the absolute shit out of them and annoying parry timing. I suggest to skip this game and find other platformers or something else that have more than 50% porn, the actual porn content in this game? 7 Area Game over scenes + 8 Boss victory scenes + 2 NPC + 1 Intro scene Grand total of 18 measly scene for a game that has uhhhh let me check. 29 enemies, and no scenes for them and no interaction, 2 NPCs that have sex scenes if you completed their quest or buying all their stuff, and no raping you while you're downed at all. Nope, just barebones You may have notice I didn't mention Boss Game over scenes, as in the boss rape the player after you lose, it's because there's none for it and don't get your hopes up high because the dev didn't want to add more animations into this game but focusing on bugfixes and balancing the enemies. Overall? Just ask for gallery file, it's honestly not worth your time playing this game and spend over 20+ hours for the 100% playthrough (Some abilities are mandatory) AND enduring the micro second parryfest in the lategame. The game is 1 star is simply due to at least they look cute otherwise this game is a flat 0 for me. God I'm not touching this game ever again
Review of Version v0.8 Get woken up by a Goblin fucking me back to life. What a start! Cons: -I start with the worst. Rewards. I don't mind a hard game, a challenge! But that means there MUST be a reward in a PORN game. You play Hollow Knight for the love of the game and to say proudly "I beat Hollow Knight." I don't want to be proud of beating "Buried Pillars" I want to wank MY fucking Pillar to a sexy porn game. So you torture yourself for NOTHING, because you get a scene if you beat a Boss or die, but those aren't worth the tremendous effort you have to put in to get them. -The two locations I saw had the same bad music loop. And each had 1 Game Over Animation. -I hope the 3D backgrounds are just placeholders. -Not enough frames on the players movement. The gameplay is currently a lot smoother and faster than the frames provided for animation. -(Personal) Huge dick. Its literally a THIRD leg. -What are those standard controls? -Ledge grapping is always a sign of bad level design. You wanna go fast paced? Don't stop my movement with a dumb ledge grab animation. Only disturbs fluid gameplay. Pros: +The movement is good and crips. I did not had the feeling that I fucked up because the controls are not precise enough. +Art design as always is nice. +Monster Girl designs are good (even though you don't get to fuck anything) +Story is simple and clear enough for this kind of game. +No crashes, no bugs. +Keybinding (thank god) The game could deserve more stars, since its an actual playable game. But I visit this website for Porn Games. And other games also have a better way to update gameplay and porn. Or the amount you get is not a pain in the ass to unlock/get.
Update from my previous review after playing the game again for v0.11 The game plays really well and the controls are nice and responsive, felt like I was properly in control of the character throughout. Love the art and the environments, the UI is pretty simple and nice, inventory and map were improved since v0.8 - map could use a little bit of extra love, the black/fogged out parts don't seem to correctly remove from some areas and near the edges of others making it a bit confusing. The tutorial area has information added now for basic controls, might be easy to miss since it's based on popup text when you go past certain spots and the healing spell tip only happens when you get low enough on hp. Not sure if it ever shows up again so could be easy to miss. Still not a fan on how the camera moves around the map based on the area you're in. Would much prefer it to stay fixed to the character, keeping the zoom out for boss fights and allow the player to look up and down by holding the appropriate key. Still have some issues with the difficulty of the game, I'm used to the enemy movements and timings for the most part now. But it can still be very unforgiving when you get hit and knocked down constantly. The extra upgrades added to the merchant and locations around the map made the game much smoother to complete at least on the casual mode - I wouldn't be tempted to try the hard mode. Final boss fight was much better now in this version, it's fairly tough but the attack patterns are done nicely and I was able to complete it. Also a gallery being added to the game is greatly appreciated.
[v0.6] Basically, the game itself is fairly tight and feels good to play. But it's unfairly difficult. Focus on the unfair part. Specifically the bosses. The notorious rat boss took me 30+ tries and only about 20% of the time it was my fault I died, the rest were undodgable rng attacks There's a stun mechanic straight out of jump-king that exists to make the game worse, You will *always* get chained meaning you always die in 2, maybe 3 attacks when you should survive 5 which the game seems balanced around In the new boss I died a dozen times to stunlocking, decided I wasn't having fun anymore, and dropped the game. That's pretty damming so I feel justified in giving it a 2.5 score. It is mechanically solid and has good art and audio design but none of those matter if you intentionally make it infuriating. I just wasn't having fun man. Cautious 3 score in the hopes they add a difficulty select, or remove the anti-fun mechanic in the full release
i did say what nakara will be the only game i'll review but man i cant stop the urge for this one i just really like the dev, his cute artstyle and games. specifically difficulty of this game, this is what i needed from porn game industry. YES punish me all the way for missing those damn blocks. also i don't have any delays or problems with block, it was always clean for me, dunno what people down here talkin' about. but i agree what this game needs difficulty sliders, otherwise it wont get the love it deserves
I'd like to start by saying that I expect good things of this game, judging off the dev's previous work, potentially a 5 star. As of build 0.6 the game's done incredible artwork, I'd wager to say the scenes in this game are already better than the last, and the backgrounds are nice to look at. Though, I am a simple man who see booba and have neuron activation so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Now when it comes to the second most important thing for a game of this genre (porn obviously), gameplay, the most concering thing is how overly punishing it is. Now as someone who's played games like DMC III it's nothing too crazy, but the fact that I had an easier time beating the first boss of DMC III than ANY other boss in this game speaks volumes. Now I don't think the difficulty is something that needs to be removed, what needs to be added however is difficulty sliders, this could be a normal mode for instance. And as for what I'd like to see out of this game, other than the difficulty sliders of course, is the ability to do SOMETHING to the knocked enemies, I mean you could kinda do that in the last game and this is kinda like the last game but platformer? If that makes sense? Nothing hurts my fried dopamine receptors more than seeing busty ladies laid out on the floor and having to walk by them. TL;DR: Add difficulty sliders, game's got potential, really nice art, and let me do something to the knocked enemies.
Sigh... a platformer game where enemies are fast and you die in 4 hits... even as a fan of platformer games, I just can't have fun here at all. Oh and, if you don't believe me, well, to play normally first you must re-map the controls. There's 2 buttons for casting magic spells but, they don't actually do anything right now.
0.5 Build For a game that relies heavily on parrying as its entire gameplay loop, I personally find its parry system completely inconsistent. First of all the window to parry is deceptively small because the actual parry animation has you hold your sword out like you've got a good full second of parry window, but that's not the case. It's pretty much instant and enemy attacks are also just as instantly fast. That said there are times when the parry will interrupt my attack and come out the moment I press it and need it. Other times it'll queue up the parry and make my attack finish first, and by then the enemy attack has already gone out and hits me, and then my parry comes out anyway immediately afterwards because it was still queued up. Beyond that the parry is both required and borderline useless, it is literally there to break up the fighting and that's it. You don't get a stun for parrying the enemy, your only reward is that you negated damage on yourself and now have to be ready to do it again, and again, and again. It isn't particularly difficult since most enemies are set up in a way that you can fight them within a vacuum but it's just drawn out and boring after a while, especially when you don't get anything for fighting. You get what you see and what you see is what you plan around fighting and your reward is just special meter stuff. I get that it's super early on into development but if you're gonna put such a heavy emphasis on the parry mechanic you gotta give the players something, man. It should stun enemies for a moment, give you a damage boost on your next hit, anything to reward actually doing it right. As it is the parry is just there as a skill issue check and nothing more. You either learn to parry or you will not play this game, and honestly i fucking hate that for a porn game of all things. It's still super early but it's hard to say if it'll get better or worse. With the porn being tied to game over I personally lean towards worse. Nothing is quite as annoying as having to redo a section because you wanted to see what the new enemy does and sacrifice your progress along the way over and over again.
seems fun honestly looks good so far i hope you'l do a controll layout soon so i don't have to schrub my keyboard to find the controlls but yeah looks good. also i like the boob goblins they are cute and sexy
