About The Darker Arts

This Harry Potter fan project places the wizarding world in an adult retelling, with every cast member aged up. You take the role of Harry as the story follows the fifth novel’s events. The player investigates a hidden third branch of magic called The Darker Arts. The game is made by Envoy in HTML and uses a text-based dating sim structure. Its setting is a fantasy school, and its visuals mix 2D and 3D computer graphics with live-action adult content.

The current build includes Chapters 1-6 as version 0.1.7, dated April 24, 2023, and development is ongoing. It is in English and uncensored. The latest update adds Chapters 4 through 6, an early free-time open world available after each chapter from the third onward, three story adult scenes, one optional free-time scene, four repeatable optional scenes, a short optional quest, and a redesigned interface.

Developer's description

A Harry Potter fan game, explore the wizarding world in a new light. One where all characters have been changed to be 18+, and one in which you will uncover the secrets of a third, unknown subtype of magic, appropriately coined "The Darker Arts." You play Harry during the events of the fifth book, Order of the Phoenix.

Changelog

V 0.1.7 -Early version of free time, an open-world section of the game. It is available at the end of every chapter, starting at the third chapter. While there are things to do and see, the open world may feel a little empty once you finish the available content. This will continue to get better with each update, and eventually, I want the world to feel as interesting and magical as possible. -Chapters 4, 5, and 6 -3 Sex scenes (Story) -1 Sex Scenes (Free Time) -4 Additional repeatable sex scenes (Free Time) -1 (Albeit short) quest (Free Time) -UI revamp. V 0.1.2 -Corrected spelling errors. V 0.1.1 -Fixed broken images/videos. -Corrected spelling errors. -Chapter 3 (2474 words, 1 sex scene with alternate paths).
