Having left your old life as well as your former identity behind, you start fresh in a new town. Explore, meet people, build, destroy, love, kill, evade, get caught. Do you want to be a skilled hacker? A ruthless crime lord? Just a regular Joe with a regular job? A quiet life with your loving wife, a whole harem of devoted lovers in your luxurious villa The sky is the limit at The Edge of the Map! Spoiler I aim for TEotM to be an in-depth sandbox game with the emphasis on maximum player freedom , but packed in an intuitive, easily-understood UI . I'm making this project mainly for fun, and to test out the limits of SugarCube/Twine. Enjoy, and let me know what you think ! I'm always looking for feedback

And quite a big one v0.01 → v0.02 Words of dialogue: ~2827 → ~11 466 ( + ~8639 ) Images & videos: 113 → 164 ( + 51 ) Plot characters: 1 → 2 ( + 1 ) Secondary characters: 1 → 4 ( + 3 ) + 1 new location: Outskirts Added Complete skill system rework: 4 major skills ( Dexterity , Intelligence , Charisma , Strength ) tied to various events in which they are used New skill modifier system: 12 skill modifiers ( 6 'base' ones & 6 'advanced' ones) that influence stats by daily player activities Phone: Character bios & a hint system for all major and minor characters in the game Daily Stats screen Autosave (triggered daily), with save auto-naming for convenience A Cheat menu with a toggle for it in the Settings Settings: Audio controls - Master, Music & SFX sliders Settings: Toggles for options to skip daily Statistics and Dream screens Created the game wiki, hosted on Miraheze (because fuck Fandom.com) Added info popups on the AI usage, and for this changelog Modified Complete rewrite of all previously existing scenes Restructured & upgraded the intro scene into a seamless mini-tutorial Improved & expanded the work system (only the Cashier job is available at the moment, but I'll be adding more in the upcoming updates) Second pass on both Phone and Laptop UI Second pass on the Event Hint system (flashing place icons whether there is an event present) Rewritten random event (dreams, Laptop content etc.) to be less repeatable Backend shenanigans (Stuff you won't see, but matters) Complete rework of the Plot/NPC character level system for a more robust & universal progression My custom Dynamic Passage system rework, for less clutter & easier optimization Like a bajillion other small optimizations & tweaks I won't even list here Updated FontAwesome Free from 7.0.0 to 7.2.0 v0.01 - Initial release I aimed for the v0.01 to have a scalable baseline, and some initial content to start things off with. I like the dev AI usage disclaimer, that is very cool. The interface of the game is cool and there are interesting systems but they're yet to be fully developed, the only scene you can have rn is with prostitutes and the game rn is insanely grindy and there's no way to avoid somethings like the gangs. There's a lot of parts of the game that does nothing yet, the dev needs to focus one one thing and do it instead of adding a lot of things half baked. It can have future if the dev add updates frequently.

V. 0.1 Very sleek and clean looking, but there's essentially zero content. I get that the Dev might just be excited to release something, but this is so empty, and the fact that they've got all the Patreons and what nots setup, gives me those "in it for a quick buck" vibes. The little AI porn that was there looked pretty good to me, and very clean UI like mentioned before, so at least some effort went into this. " A quiet life with your loving wife, a whole harem of devoted lovers in your luxurious villa - The sky is the limit at The Edge of the Map! " No wives or harem here, that's for sure. Let's see how it looks after 50 updates. P.S. Should add a volume option to the settings. (didn't see it anywhere if there was one.)
