[Fix] v0.1.1 — One very embarrassed developer Fixed a critical bug preventing characters from being assigned to rooms. You can now actually run the fucking brothel. Fixed feet clipping through shoes and other footwear. Apparently, shoes are supposed to cover feet. Fixed several issues affecting save and load functionality. Fixed incorrect male dialogue appearing when playing as a female protagonist. [Release] v0.1.0 — Open for filthy business The first complete playable version of Whorelord is now available. Run and expand your own brothel, with rooms to build, girls to hire and guests to serve. Explore the city and visit locations including the slums, tailor, infirmary and forge. Meet and interact with a growing cast of fully animated characters. Follow the opening storyline surrounding your father's 30,000 debt and the people expecting you to repay it. Talk, negotiate and make choices through branching character dialogue. Get into fights, take damage and deal with the consequences when things go badly. Manage your money, upkeep and expansion while interest continues piling onto the debt. Time advances through your actions, with different activities consuming different amounts of the day. Save your progress and continue building the house across multiple sessions. Adult encounters, nudity and animated sexual content are now implemented throughout the game. The first proper gameplay loop from broke lodgehouse owner to slightly less broke brothel owner is now in place. [Update] v0.0.6 — Turns out sex sells Added guests to the taproom. Guests can form a queue while waiting to be served. Longer-waiting guests receive priority. A staffed bar helps keep guests in the house. Stages and available private rooms give guests more reasons to stay. Movement between rooms inside the brothel is now instant. Guests can still be directed into rooms while the player moves around the house. Marek now remains stationed behind the bar. [Update] v0.0.5 — Taking the debauchery downtown Added the city map. Added the slums, infirmary, tailor and blacksmith. Street encounters can now lead to fights. Fighting advances time by 10 minutes. Being drunk, the time of night and certain traits can affect combat. Damage and bleeding are now part of fights. Debt continues progressing while you're away from the brothel. The collector will still come looking for what he's owed. [Update] v0.0.4 — Whores aren't cheap Bedrooms cost 280, dorms 200, showers 300 and the bar 900. Added daily upkeep for the house. Demolishing a room returns half of its construction cost. The starting house has capacity for 2. A basement expansion costs 3,500. An additional floor costs 5,500. Hired girls now remain assigned to their rooms. The infirmary charges 40 for treatment. [Update] v0.0.3 — The girls have opinions Added individual conversations for Alice, Marek, Garrick and the debt collector. Added dialogue for street hires and characters at the tailor, infirmary and forge. Character traits can now determine which dialogue lines are used. Traits such as Insatiable and Selective produce different responses. Dialogue scenes can change character poses as conversations progress. [Update] v0.0.2 — Everybody has bones now Added male and female characters that render directly inside rooms. Characters can idle and pose. Clothing, hair and bodies use interchangeable skins. Multiple characters can appear together within the same scene. Conversations now use a closer dialogue camera rather than keeping characters at full-body distance. [Update] v0.0.1 — Nothing but rooms and debt Added the brothel cabinet, a bedroom and a shower, with movement between rooms. Starting money is 1,800. Starting debt is 30,000. Time now advances through actions: conversations and city travel take 5 minutes, while showering takes 15. Saves now remember your money, outstanding debt and current room.
