v1.0.3 The final release. The game is complete. Completion of the plot . The climax of the conflict against Nazarov and his crime family. The last attempt to save your father The true ending and epilogues. Your choices matter! Learn how you and all the other characters ended up based on your decisions. Bottom surgery. The final surgery in the game and the final step in you feminization journey (if you choose to go through with it). Fully functioning female genitalia (meaning yes, you can get pregnant in the epilogue) Completion of all sub-plots. Olivia's story. Heather's story. Lexi's story. They're all complete. A new ending . In addition to the 'true ending' for finishing the game, there is new 'fail-state ending' if you fail to save your father. New achievements. For the completionists out there. Lots of text fixes and bug fixes. v1.01 This hotfix addresses all bugs identified so far. Another hotfix will likely come in the next few days. Lots of 'blank screens' dealt with. People shouldn't be locked out of bottom surgery accidentally anymore (not sure if that's totally fixed yet, though). Lexi's final scene now works. Some broken epilogue screens were fixed. The tesseract and scenes related to it were fixed... lots of fixes, really. Hard to list them all. v1.0 Hey, I finally did it! The Good Son v1.0 is released! The game is now complete, and can be played from start to finish, right to its many epilogues. This was a lot of work, and I'm really happy to finally tie a bow on it. The key inclusions in this update are (1) bottom surgery / sexual reassignment surgery, (2) conclusions to all sub-plots, (3) the grand finale to save your dad and complete the game, (4) epilogues reflecting what happens to all major (and most minor) characters based on your decisions. For now, I'm just going to upload this version onto Subscribestar. I'll add it to TfGamesSite soon. An important note on bugs: I tried to fix all game-breaking bugs before release, but this game is pretty vast in terms of all the various passages where a bug might hide. You all will be much better at finding the bugs than I can. So please let me know of all bugs on The Good Son Discord server and I will fix them in a series of hotfixes over the next few days and weeks. So definitely expect a rapid fire release of new versions over the next few days. If you want a more stable experience of The Good Son, maybe wait a week for a lot of the early bugs to get identified and sorted out. v0.9.2 Bug fixes: -You can no longer buy the Backless Evening Dress an infinite number of times. Just once, now. -Several instances of the game referring to the wrong media (and therefore not displaying anything) have been fixed. -Following the Cade romance from the Mid Game Jump no longer locks you out of his romance at the masquerade. -You can no longer remove tattoos you don't even have. -You can no longer talk to Chad about getting breast surgery when you've already had that surgery. -You will no longer referred to as '$bossname' when using the Mid Game Jump. The Mid Game Skip still needs to be tested a lot more. It probably won't fully break your game but it might mess a few things up. The new clothing store, Femme Fatalle, plays into the plot of this update and has outfits, underwear, and toys for sale! The gift store will have a lot more to offer in future updates. Introduced in v0.4, Heather is a little bored with her housewife lifestyle, and is dire need of romance and excitement. Introduce her to social media and the give her the attention she deserves from younger men! Spend time en femme at the Cauldron! Maybe you'll run into mysterious young man with even more mysterious intentions... Nurse Ashley is getting even more creative, with new ways to milk you... This update includes a HUGE beach date , with an unprecedented amount of choice and variation involved. No matter which path you're on, there's something to discover on your day in the sun! New clothing options! More achievements! v0.5 Dates with Jack ! A.k.a. how to score yourself a sugar daddy. The closer you get to Jack, the more envious he'll be of your relationship with Todd. Good luck balancing the affections of father and son. Building a business with Lexi ! Lexi's story is now 'stable' in v0.5. If you progress far enough along it, you'll be able to visit her apartment whenever you want, and collect the profits that come out of your joint venture. Remember, the more scandalous the product, the more money... but careful you don't lose Lexi's respect - she can be very domineering. Taking your girlfriend out on dates ! While v0.4 really brought disloyal Susan to her steady state (via her deflowering and the introduction of REP) - v0.5 is all about loyal Susan . Take her to the movies! Check out the library! Get all romantic with your lovely girlfriend and - if you're feeling naughty - encourage her growing interest in getting off in public Olivia ! If this wasn't the side-content update, I might just call it the Olivia update. Her 'corruption' path has been SIGNIFICANTLY expanded, as has her 'romantic' path, where you pair her up with Cade. Both of these arcs are, I'd say, about 66% complete. In later updates, they'll conclude, and Olivia's final status will impact the ultimate finale of the game. I really like where Olivia lands at the end of v0.5 in both her paths - you really get a solid picture of where she's going to end up, and what kind of person she's going to be. The Cade romance path also has a few new scenes! It's not so much that you need to choose between Cade or Todd... but playing two guys at once does have consequences... Heather ! The one big piece of disloyal Susan content added to v0.5 is more content with Susan's mom. You might think it's similar to Olivia's corruption arc, but you'd be sorely mistaken. As you reintroduce Heather to the world of romance, you can push her towards a wholesome path (if you can call a bit of romantic infidelity wholesome), or a darker path where she really gives herself up to her sexual urges. In v0.5, you'll see how those paths differ, and you'll make your first big choice along one or the other. I've really enjoyed Heather's content. Just the idea of turning a MILF into a 'social media thot' (to quote someone from The Good Son discord) is a lot of fun. Fem at the Cauldron !!! I've been meaning to do this since v0.3, and it's finally done. At the point in the game where you're comfortable crossdressing outside, you can hang out at the Cauldron en femme (if you don't have a shift that night), and see if you have any fun or memorable meetings. Lots of fun scenes here. I don't want to spoil anything here, but there is a really, really fun scene to find if you do this enough (and get lucky). Ashley ! Our favorite nurse is back, and she's bringing in new equipment to milk you with. She's even willing to pay extra for good behavior. $1 a month patreon can get you early access to releases, everyone who has played previous releases of this game know that it is very good quality.
