The Intoxicating Flavor is a Ren'Py visual novel by PixelsLab, presented with 3DCG animated scenes. You follow a young man stranded on a deserted island with no contact with the outside world, waiting for a chance to leave. New visitors change his situation, and strange dreams reveal that the island hides more than it appears. The story moves from playful encounters with the guests to a darker examination of fears, secrets, and choices whose results are not always obvious. It blends romance, mind control, and superpowers within an adult narrative.
Development is ongoing, with version v0.12.0 released on April 8, 2026. The build supports Windows, Mac, and Android, in English and French, and is uncensored. The latest update includes 760 images, 15,500 words, 18 animations totaling 5,970 frames, 7 music tracks, and 12 sound effects, plus a new clean voice for Alice. It also reworks audio channel settings, assigning music, ambient, and environmental sounds to the music slider and regular sounds to the sound slider, while fixing several bugs.
Developer's description
The game tells a story about the young man who gets stuck on the deserted island with no communication with the outside world and doomed to aimlessly wait for an opportunity to get out. Everything changes when new visitors come to the island. After a few amusing and kind of juicy situations night falls together with some really weird dreams. At this moment we realize that the island isn't so simple as it seemed at first, and the funny story about relationship between the main character with newly arrived guests leads to a very serious story about each person having his own fears and secrets, and their choice might not always result in obvious consequences.
