The Locket is a Ren'Py dating-sim-style supernatural office thriller by Watermelon Universe, presented with 2D AI CG art. You play Mabel, a quiet office worker mourning her grandmother, who discovers a silver locket among the old woman's belongings. Once worn, it begins altering her by taking traits from nearby women and giving them to her. As the changes speed up and coworkers notice, she must decide whether to reject the new power or accept its cost. Choices shape whether she resists the locket or surrenders.
The current build is v1.0 Episode 2, released March 24, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android in English, uncensored. Episode 2 adds three growth stages, thirteen new CGs, including a three-part intimate sequence that follows the last change, two new characters, ninety-four new voice lines for Mabel, and Episode 1 save carryover. Episode 1 provided a full episode of about forty-five minutes, eleven acts, seven characters, ninety-six sprites, eleven CG scenes, fourteen backgrounds, three branching choices, fifteen music tracks, affection tracking, five protagonist growth stages, and shrinking variants for four characters.

Mabel is a quiet office worker still grieving her grandmother when she finds a mysterious silver locket among the old woman's belongings. When she puts it on, the locket begins to change her stealing from the women around her and giving to Mabel. At first it's subtle, easy to ignore. But as the changes accelerate and her coworkers start to notice, Mabel faces an impossible choice: give up the power that's finally making her feel seen, or embrace what the locket offers and accept the cost. This is a supernatural office thriller where every gain has a cost. Navigate Mabel's descent from grieving introvert to power-addicted predator across a single explosive episode, making choices that determine whether she fights the locket's influence or surrenders completely.
