About The Running of the Wolves

The Running of the Wolves is a 3D adult game by Methodia Rascal, built in Unreal Engine with animated visuals. It centers on Pineridge’s annual Running of the Wolves Festival, where competitors try to survive being hunted by a pack of horny wolves and other wild creatures. The stated goal is to be the last person reaching the finish line, though many participants end up unconscious and satisfied in the countryside. You play as a female competitor, with themes drawn from furry content and combat.

Development is ongoing, with the current build listed as Beta v5.1.2 Public, released on June 23, 2026. The game runs on Windows, uses English, and is uncensored. The changelog references demo builds, including v2.2.1 and v2.1.1, along with the initial demo release.

Developer's description

Every year, Pineridge holds it's annual Running of the Wolves Festival. In some parts of the world, this kind of thing might be about running away from a stampede of Bulls or something. Pineridge does it very differently. Spoiler People apply in their droves to join in, though few actually make it into the competition. Some do it for the prizes. Some do it for the challenge. Most come because they want to experience being hunted down by a pack of horny wolves. In theory, the objective is to be the last remaining competitor to make it to the finish line, but every year the countryside around the town ends up littered with very sticky unconscious but extremely satisfied people. That's assuming they don't meet any of the other creatures that live out in the wilds first.

Normally I'm supportive but this... it's like a constantly crashing fever dream. This is far from "beta" as the download of the latest version claims. This isn't even an alpha. This, imo, isn't even a proof of concept, and I…

Some people think that setting up a patreon and releasing something that couldn't even be called a demo is going to make them rich. Another game with zero optimisation to burn your processor, ram and car if possible. Models that…

This was released way too early. The majority of these UE games are usually tech demos for a while, but this is taking another step. There's barely any content (2, maybe 3 animations but I couldn't get one to trigger…
