Twelve Faces

I really wish i could give it more, but in the face of everything i simply can't. First of all, it is simply unfinished. Every route very quickly ends on "To be continued". and considering there are several entirely different ways it goes, no, it won't continue because developer will need to branch out from every option and every choice, which is just not something viable. Definitely developer bit more than he can chew in this case. So it is a forever unfinished project. The biggest offender of this game is a gargantuan mess of a story. So you play as a a son of some mega rich people but set out to make a life on his own. You work in some architecture company and first half is you going between 2 women, Eileen and Linda. One is essentially a corporate spy (i will mention it later), and another banged her boss RIGHT before trying to have a moment with you so both prospects are... you know. This is where it gets ridiculous. Next paragraph will be long and might look like im retelling everything but you NEED to understand. This part is important. I went with Linda, corporate spy plot got dropped for her crazy ex chasing her and getting police over you. So you meet your lawer, she tells you about her 3 failed long term relashionships, then you bang her sister, then you get into a car crash and get into coma for 3 monthes. While you are in a coma, your boss is fired and you are promoted onto his place (WHILE IN A COMA, MIND YOU). Right after that all your women go for "i won't wait forever for you to decide" despite you knowing 2 of them for less than 24 hours 3 monthes ago before your coma. You have to decide on the spot who you date (if you pick the lawyer who you knew for less than 24 hours, have 1 relashionship point with and her explicitly saying she isn't looking for it, you immediately bang), then immediately it turns out your father is dying, your brother's girlfriend is a golddigger and you bang her, you bang more people, you can choose whether you inherit business or not. You have one more scene with token "love interest", then it does a sort of a plot hook with your father's death and mother's involvement. To be continued. This all happens within something like 1.5-2 hours. Absolute. Cinema. It was honestly very clear that the game is a patchwork quilt of halfbaked ideas and nonsensically stitched story bits that simply do not connect. Stats? Do not matter in the slighest, i had 0 points with Eileen and still could pick her. 114 dollars you have for some reason? Never used, probably a leftover from a time where it was planned. Girls are visually fine, scenes are tolerable at best too. Dialogue itself is not the worst i have seen but it is very dry and lacking in presense and charisma, speaking only in most basic sentenses and words. It's just not interesting or pleasant to read. It feels like the game was a victim of overly ambitious design but just couldn't commit to being a very long project, or maybe developer simply didn't have an attention span for it. My personal recommendation for the next project is to keep it small, keep it simple, but polished and enjoyable.

I may still give this a proper review but off the bat this is not good, it is at best a 2 star game. Models are actually damn ugly, they look like they made of botox, plastic and bullshit. The dialogue is not great and the story and premise is silly. Writing is not too bad though. Sexual sounds are nice, but sexual content is pretty lack luster, short and vanilla. Animation are smooth but also not great, but better than some games. The models, there expressions and looks are generally the worst for me. The VN feels cheap, but I believe this could be a success. It needs more work though, it doesn't need to be complex, so story can be straight forward, but models need a real hard look into.
