About Vaniar

Vaniar is a Ren'Py visual novel by UAB Productions, using animated 3D CG art. You play as an ordinary male protagonist whose wife and daughter vanish without warning. His grief and anger push him into a solitary journey through dark, dystopian fantasy territory, where he trains and hardens into a warrior able to confront impossible threats.

The current playable build is v0.4.1, released on July 21, 2025, and development remains ongoing. It is available for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, in English, with no censorship. The latest update added 143 renders, 40 animations, corrected text errors, and introduced a new menu. Earlier work reduced text for a more dynamic feel, reworked scenes to improve the plot, and fixed additional issues.

Developer's description

The protagonist, an ordinary man, suffers the most devastating loss imaginable: the mysterious disappearance of his wife and daughter—without warning, without a trace, as if they had vanished from the world. Consumed by despair and rage, he embarks on a solitary quest that drags him into the shadows. He is no longer the same. Pain changes him. He trains, hardens... and becomes a warrior. The only one capable of facing the impossible.
