About Veil of Submission

Veil of Submission is an RPGM game by YugataKisu, using 2D AI CG art and animated scenes. You play Sir Ethan, a knight sent by Queen Seraphine to the Tower of Despair, where eleven earlier knights have failed and their crests hang on a dojo wall. Each floor is ruled by a mistress who can outclass him. Kasumi, the first mistress, is a martial-arts fighter in nylons who uses each round to teach him humiliation. You fight in turn-based duels, break holds with timing and mashing, and resist distractions. Failure can bring animated finishers, new curses, and reactions from her student Rin.

The current build is version 0.1, released on October 31, 2026 as the first public release, so development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, in English, without censorship. The update adds the prologue, the tower gate, and Kasumi's dojo on the first floor. Combat uses Ember Stains, combos, and techniques, while hold minigames test timing and mashing. Losses can produce animated knockout sequences, permanent curses, and shop prices that rise after failed holds. The release also includes resist minigames, Rin's shop, Lyra hallucinations, and memories.

Developer's description

Queen Seraphine sends Sir Ethan, her finest knight, three days north to the Tower of Despair. Eleven knights climbed it before him. Their crests now hang on a dojo wall, and the last peg in the row is waiting for his. Veil of Submission is an RPG about climbing that tower and losing to the women who rule it. Each floor belongs to a mistress who outclasses Ethan in every way. The first is Kasumi, a martial-arts master who fights in nylons and treats every round as a lesson in humiliation. Fight her in turn-based duels, break out of her holds in timing and mashing minigames, and resist her distractions. Fail, and you'll get an animated finisher, a few new curses, and her student Rin laughing at you while she counts your losses.
