About Velvet Ascension

Velvet Ascension is a deckbuilding roguelite from DSS Games, using the Others engine and 2D adult visuals. You choose among five characters, each with distinct mechanics, archetypes, and card pools, then shape a deck through branching routes, fights, shops, events, and bosses. It uses point-and-click, text-based, turn-based card combat, drawing on deckbuilding roguelites such as Slay the Spire, while offering unlockable adult content during runs.

Development is ongoing. The current build is v0.5.0, released June 18, 2026 for Windows in English, with no censorship. This update adds Dillon as a sixth playable character, including his full card pool, artwork, Legacy Path, and relics. It also introduces permanent seals, fourteen common, uncommon, and rare versions, and seal rewards from early floor bosses. Anna Claire Clouds joins as a Patron with five cards, devotion rewards, visuals, and a collection archive. Nine new elite and boss encounters across the three floors, three arousal management cards, three potions, fifteen relics, the Velvet Signet and Duck Line events, plus a Rubber Duck relic were added, alongside balance changes to Dillon’s starter deck and Fan the Room, and updated arousal timing.

Developer's description

Velvet Ascension is a strategic deckbuilding roguelite where each run challenges you to build powerful card combinations, collect relics, navigate branching paths, and overcome increasingly difficult encounters. Choose from five unique playable characters, each featuring their own mechanics, archetypes, and card pools. Experiment with different strategies, discover powerful synergies, and adapt your deck as you progress through battles, events, shops, elites, and bosses. Simple idea of a game executed perfectly. The diverse playable pornstars with uniqe cards/scenes is implemented well. It can easily be expanded with more scenes and characters. Mainly needs polishing and optimizations so scenes play without lagging.
