About Adonis

Adonis is an adult visual novel by SerpensRex, built in Ren'Py and presented with 3DCG animated scenes. You play as Adonis Aldine, a former detective known for solving difficult cases who retired early after a traumatic brain injury left him blind. When he finds his father dead and a note claiming a debt was collected, he moves in with caretaker Abraham Miller and is pulled into the criminal world he once opposed. The game follows his investigation into his father's death, blending mystery with romance, humor, and combat.

Version 0.5 was released on September 11, 2022, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, offers English and Spanish text, and is uncensored. The latest update, Episode III Part II, adds one new character, more than 225 images, five animations, about 500 to 1000 script lines, and six new soundtracks with credits. It also fixes typos, adjusts Marie's appearance, and repairs code for some scenes from the previous part.

Developer's description

You play as Adonis Aldine. An ex-detective, well-known for his ability to solve difficult cases, who had to retire early due to a traumatic brain injury that caused him to go blind. One day, as he was coming back from work, he found his father's body, beaten to a pulp, blood all over the place, and shot. A note beside him said: "The debt has been collected. Nulla consequat iaculis ex." Adonis has been living with his elder caretaker, Abraham Miller, ever since that incident. Follow Adonis's journey as he is forced to become one of the things he has been fighting his whole life since he became a detective. Uncover the mystery behind his father's death.
