After Dark is a Ren'Py visual novel by Bozavest, presented with 3D CG art and a dating-sim style of play. You follow a boy who has not slept for more than ten years, carrying vague memories of an event he cannot recall. He feels separated from others and finds it hard to build real relationships. When his final year of school begins, an unexpected meeting with a mysterious figure suggests that his future may be far larger than he expects. The story mixes fantasy and horror.
The current build is version v0.26.1, released on October 12, 2026, with development still ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is uncensored. This update adds more than two hundred images, a new Riley event, a new story event, and a gifting system intended for later use. Players can now earn money by working at Cabana's on weekdays. The patch also includes an event replay feature, reworked early chapter-one scenes, and many bug fixes.
