After Years Apart is a 2D animated RPGM title from StudioAhamai. You play the returning protagonist after years away, where familiar faces and old friends are waiting. The game mixes sandbox freedom with romance and teasing, letting you reconnect, explore relationships, and discover what happened during your absence. Its visual presentation uses animated CG artwork and a point-of-view framing style.
The current build is v0.2.5 plus the Halloween event, released on September 14, 2025 for Windows and Mac in English, uncensored. Development is ongoing. Version 0.2.5 continues Maya’s story, adds one event around the house, ten new animations, a new quest system, and many small fixes. The update also includes a small Halloween event, adding extra content for the latest release.
