New contents & Update: - Ronkundar (NPC) now casts light at the beginning of all dungeons (WIP). - Reduced the damage of giant snail vomit. - (WIP) Updated part of the clip introducing the Rat God Caverns. - Added life indicator to Karnor's tentacle monster. - Improved the graphics of the backgrounds of the third Rogak's lair. - Xodan God Strike: Now when it strikes it emits light and there's a thunder-like sound. - Voice of defeated Ronkundar dubbed. - The Gorlo Life Points (NPCs) were increased. - Random Caverns: Added new room for vampire bats. - Enlarged the fonts of the environment descriptions. - The random dungeon scipts have been improved. - Increased gem values: Opal: 30 Gur; Ruby: 50 Gur; Emerald: 70 Gur; Diamond: 100 Gur. - Boruth's first dialogue is now fully spoken. - Increased the value of piles of coins to 25 Gur. - Ronkundar's save clip dubbed and remastered. - Subtitles in all languages were added to Ronkundar's save clip. - Completed the first Clip where Boruth welcomes the Kings and assigns them their first Quest. - Completed and remastered in (QHD) the Bad Night 'captured by the ape man' clip. - Completed and remastered in (QHD) the Bad Night 'captured by Rogaks' clip. - Completed and remastered in (QHD) the Bad Night 'captured by soldiers' clip. - Yanah's nightmare clip completed. We have added doors, wells, traps, enemies, and more. And remember: "Doors should never be trusted because they are always hiding something!" You are warned my barbarians! v0.5.6 Fix: - Sharp rocks: sometimes they appeared placed in front of doors. - Random Dungeons: Chests now appear correctly positioned. - There was a framerate drop in the Random caves. - Stamina regenerated by jumping. - Xodan: The inventory didn't record correctly the presence and position of the items. - Day Camp: When playing with two players, Player1's equipment was misplaced. - P2 may have a slight gliching if it overlaps P1. - Other minor bugs have been fixed. So… this is probably the worst gaming experience I’ve had in my life. Playing this game is incredibly unpleasant. Let’s start with the controls: What the hell… I don’t know who hurt the developer, but kick, run, and jump all on one button? That’s an unbelievable decision… what kind of genius do you have to be? Nothing here feels intuitive. The key layout is a mess, though thankfully you can change it, but some actions are still forced onto the same damn button. And the action button doesn’t even perform actions properly, things like chests have to be opened with the mouse. Alright, you can get used to the controls. However… the gameplay… ugh… First of all, whether an enemy hits you or not is decided by randomness. It doesn’t matter what you see visually. You might be a couple of meters away, clearly above or below the enemy, or you can visibly see yourself raising the shield in time. None of it matters because the animations don’t match the hitboxes at all. But the best part was the boss. You get a cutscene of the boss getting up from a chair? That’s your problem. Because in reality, the boss is already beating you up, and when the cutscene ends, you start on the ground with half HP. Oh, and if you get hit once? Bosses can start spamming the same attacks with almost no delay, so you won’t be able to get up or do anything. One moment you’re at full HP, the next you’re dead, because the boss’s attack timing lines up perfectly with your attempt to stand, and the boss never pauses. And this kind of garbage can happen at any moment with any enemy.

My expectations were really low after reading other reviews, but when I started playing it sucked me in for a couple of hours already. Here is what I like: > RPG elements like character upgrades, skills and different equipment, big map to explore with quests. > Satisfying and gory combat, enemies have a lot of different death animations and you can perform fully animated "fatalities". > Pleasant artstyle and level design, aesthetic of this game looks really nice What I didn't like: > Game saves only when you enter locations or when you camp, manual saving or something like that would be nice, cuz you can loose a lot of progress just because you didn't notice some traps. > Some bosses' animations and moveset are too fast, they leave you no room for action sometimes. > While the rest of game looks nice, I'm not a fan of main characters' models and animations in cutscenes. It is propably intentional, but they still look akward even considering retro vibe of this game, they need some polishing. Overall it is not for everybody, if you like this aesthetic and retro beat em ups, then feel free to try it

What a waste of time. Buggy, false hitboxes, you can lose lots of progress by crashes, ugly voice acting, ugly spiders, ugly Daz faces, cuckoldery by playing with married couple as main characters at same time. And knowing last projects of dev it will not be better. 0/10, none of game could be worse. Sadly I was baited by "barbarian" atmosphere. Arena (past part) was not so bad overall, and Extended Cut is ok, but only because of Sheyna (there was lots of same problems), Chronocles have no positive sides at all. This is more like Chronicles of Bad game.

This is a crude game. Flat out, crude. It's something that I would have expected 20+ years ago but even through that lens its still not even a good game. You have no tutorial or way to even look at settings and keybindings so you will be spending a lot of time blindly figuring out what key does what especially for basic things like attacking. If there is a sex scene at all the grind to get to it is far too high for what the first thread suggests. Frankly I feel like this is an actively deceptive game that has no business on this site.

The game is hard. Very hard. Animations don't have enough fluidity to manage combat successfully. Enemies throw the same punches one after another until you die. If you fail to dodge once, you can just start from the beginning. Some items are possible to use, some are not. Random events can freeze completely. After reloading, you appear in the same place and it is impossible to continue. Verdict - interesting idea, terrible implementation. Considering how many updates the game has already had

Terrible and poorly implemented game mechanics, hit boxes all over the place, terrible game design with random encounter mechanics are poorly implemented. Multiple game play bugs such as frame breaking, hp breaking, wiggle breaking and etc.

First of all, it's not a porn game. If you are looking just for some sex then leave it and play something else. There is one sex scene deep in the game but if you are after that stuff and not the gameplay then just watch the movies in video folder. As for the gameplay, it's quite a decent beatemup. At first it may seem a bit clumsy, just like a big, heavy barbarian but I gave it a chance and after some time started having fun with it. You generally need to like beatemup games and barbarian genre to like this one. If you are old enough then you may remember games like Golden Axe or Barbarian and movies like Conan or Red Sonja. It's old stuff and I'd say this genre is today less popular than it used to be. But If you somehow like it, then it's high chance that you'll like this game as well. It certainly needs more polish. The main plot currently is very short, there are bugs and weird controls. But if the developers won't give up, there's a chance it's going to be a good game. The graphics all alright and the plot is interesting. One more thing - it's quite hard. So edit your savegame file and add yourself some energy potions. You must turn on seeing hidden files to do it. You deserve it and currently you cannnot buy them in any shop in the game. UPDATE: As of April 2024 there are already shops in the game, there are also more sex scenes. But some issues remain and there is still a long road to the game being finished.

It is obvious that alot of work has gone into this game, but the controls of the game just make it unplayable for me. There is the option to choose between keyboard or controller with mouse function on both being just an afterthought. Why can't I use mouse on the main menu?? Why do you force players to enter into a mouse mode to pick up items when playing with controller or when entering inventory screens? To pick up items or interact with objects, just have the player walk too it and dual purpose the light attack button for pickups/interacts (this is what nearly every single other side scroller of this type of game has done since the 1980's). You already have the block button multitasking as a jump! The mouse mode for inventory is forgivable, but you should make it auto-start as soon as the player enters the inventory screen, not force the player to manually input the mouse mode after opening the inventory. This contributes to your game feeling incredibly clunky. Why do you give the option to remap controls for keyboard but don't even bother to show control mapping for controller? You have an extremely complicated control scheme to play this game and give players ZERO heads up as to what input do what when they choose controller. You give on minimal hints with the keyboard controls if a player looks at keybindings, but you don't allow players to look at this while playing the game! If you would fix the controls to be friendlier to a player experience, you could easily achieve a far better rating on average for this game.

Terrible game. AI parthner have god mode. Hitboxes not correct for real model. My barbarian queen just smashed this ogre fart like i wat been ahead, not dam behinde him! And know what? It's because i touched his leg!!!! WTF! It's not 1980's year's on yard! Did you know what game have inventroy on X? Not? I didn't to, before just hit key by random. And checked this in keyboard layout. And of course there no setting for this! And it's only start of problem. This game no check points at all! Even boss fight, you dead or exit to main menu giving you to START OVER LOCATION AGAIN! Event more, there shity hit on leg, what result with big chance for you knockdown. And even worse do this shit, what YOU CAN'T SIT DOWN LIKE IN MORTAL KOMBAT! EVEN GOLD AXE, WHICH THIS GAME THY TO PARODY playing much better. This game don't deserve 2.5 stars!

i spent 2 hours of my life struggling with uncomfortable controls in order to find out that there is NO SEXUAL CONTENT in the game, I want to warn all others to bypass this, there is steam for such bad games, there is no need to post them on our website

Controls are terrible. H content is lacking. Quality of life i'm assuming in intentionally terrible. UI is basic. Tldr: if you've got a joypad then this might not be the worse experience if you have a fetish for retro games but this title ticks none of the boxes for me.

I feel like the pictures selected is supposed to give the impression that there's way more sex in this game than there actually is. Scenes with getting kidnapped end up with you in a random dungeon and a button-mashing event with an unlimited timer. I think the Male MC might have a single sex scene, but there's nothing for the female MC as far as I could find. Graphics are alright with animation in a 3D game, but the game controls are pretty clunky and not that transparent. And on top of that there is a leveling system, but when you allocate points, there's no explanation as to what the different stats or skills actually do, so you gotta just guess the skills and eyeball if the stat increases changes your dmg, stamina or health, etc.

This is not a porn game. There are no sex scenes just a lot of "Cheesecake" these set of games from the dev are one big homage to old school sword and sorcery games and artwork. It's a dead genre but still loved by many, think Conan the Barbarian and Warlord of Mars. A lot of people will say that this game does not belong in the site but I disagree since its very sexual themed. Gameplay is rough and arcadey but thats the charm of it it's supposed to look and act like a game from the 90s. Overall not a quick fap or enjoyable to many but still great for this who want that old arcadey style games with lots of fanservice.

This isn't my first Age of Barbarians game I played, Criansoft has other 2 games in the series...AND I LOVE THEM ALL!!! The difficulty is always really high (some more some less), but their take on barbarians is probably the best ever since the original Conan. This isn't a hgame, but the violence and strong naked female barbarians are the best combination ever.

i still dont undertand why this game is here , this game is a steam greenlight by an indy dev who make game base on 80s style Arcane /Comic such like Conan,Red Sonya and Heavy Metal like , yes there nudity but clearly has nothing to do with Hen or eroge game what so ever this game now in kickstarter stage so here is pretty proof of concept , game play is crap , enemy stun lock you and the environment is a long as hall way I like the game and this dev for bring back my childhood but cleary for this site it is the mess , wait for it untill finish then
