About Ancient Times
Ancient Times is an adult narrative game built with Ren'Py by Garus and rendered with animated 3DCG art. It is inspired by historical references to Ancient Rome and follows a protagonist whose soul is sent by gods of death into a parallel world, inside the body of a Roman tribune who was meant to die. Set as Rome begins to grow, the story uses historical characters, side stories, and choices that shape his future, while the gods of death observe the outcome. Themes include male domination, humiliation, and exhibitionism.
The current build is v0.2, released on August 17, 2025, and development remains ongoing. It runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux, is available in English and Russian, and is uncensored. The v0.2 update added a more intuitive navigation system, full Russian localization, new scenes that expand storyline branches, and code optimization for better performance. The replay gallery is still in development, and minor bugs may occur during location transitions.
