About Antioch

New Antioch is an adult visual novel by TheRedMyst, built in Ren'Py with animated 3D CG art. It is set in a post-apocalyptic feudal world shaped by dystopian fantasy and a harem of possible partners. You play as Mateo, or a custom name, an enforcer for a mining province who infiltrates the capital to bring about its downfall. The story mixes romance, violence, adult scenes, and choices that decide the city's fate as you explore lost dungeons and uncover your true nature.

The current public build is R0.6, released June 14, 2025, and the game remains in development. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, without censorship. This update adds the sixth episode, titled Knives in the Dark. It contains 23,266 words, 672 static renders, 13 animations, plus a new music track and ten sound effects. A codex section adds 3,114 words of bonus lore about Dahl and Black Pearl, and entries for the Northern Wastes, Solarium, and Triad.

New Antioch is an adult visual novel set in a post-apocalyptic world, millenia after an ancient, civilisation-ending conflict. Mankind has regressed into another feudal age and, amid cutthroat politics, war without end, and a mysterious reproductive crisis, is on the long road to extinction. Spoiler You are Mateo (or a name of your choice); a feared enforcer in the service of a modest, yet influential mining province. You are the one they send out to confront their enemies, and send in when their pickaxes clink against...the unexpected. After injustice strikes, you are tasked in anger and desperation to infiltrate New Antioch--the capital city and crown jewel of your overlords--and see to its downfall. In this original story, you'll come across unique factions, places, people, and stories, that contain romance, violence (incl. blood), and adult content. You will decide the fate of New Antioch. You will delve into dungeons thought lost to time. You will discover who, or what you really are.
