Apate's Legacy is a Ren'Py adult adventure by kankeis, built with 3DCG visuals. You play Seraphine, a young woman living in a small town on Norway's west coast. Two years after a random knife attack left her scarred and changed her self-image, she leans on her sister's care. Then the ordinary world falls apart, bringing magic, supernatural beings, intrigue, and mystery, along with a chance to reclaim control over her life. The story blends fantasy, adventure, and transformation themes.
The current build is v0.1.0, released July 4, 2025 as an initial release, so development is ongoing. It is available for Windows, Linux, and Android, in English for players, without censorship. The changelog identifies this version as the initial public release.

Two years ago you were scarred in a random knife attack. The fire in your belly was extinguished, your natural Nordic beauty destroyed. Your sister is the one thing that has kept you going, showering you with her love and protection. Then one day, everything you thought you knew about life, your family, and the world around you comes crashing down. Enter magic, supernatural beings, intrigue, and mystery. But most importantly, a chance for you to grab life by the horns, take control, and finally, live.
