You play as a young 18-year-old girl named Kyra (can be changed early in prologue) and, unknown to her at the time, a vampire, who has been awoken roughly a millennium after her ''death in a modern world. But on top of all that, she also has a memory loss, caused by her long slumber, and has only portions of her memory left. You will guide her through these modern times as she enters a big city, meeting new people while at the same time dealing with her vampiric nature and trying to recover her lost memories. Spoiler: The Setting Game takes place in a modern city, in the year 2025. A millenia ago, humanity at that time was facing a new enemy, vampires, who had spread the known world and almost all but destroyed the society at that time. However, humanity was able to band together and get rid of them once and for all, exterminating every last one of them in the process. Or so they thought. Millenia has passed, and vampires became a myth. You wake up as the last of your kind, with a memory loss at that, not able to remember anything about your past after you were turned. So, in my game, there will ever only be one vampire, or two if you decide to turn your love interest into one. The focus of the story is not on your typical hidden vampire society tropes you see in other games and media. Here, the focus is soley on you, and how you will navigate this modern world and deal with your vampiric nature. More on the story setting will be explained as the game progresses and recieves further updates, but roughly, there will be mystery, gore, murder and killing, intrigue, revenge plots, blood, and yes, occasional sex when the story permits it.

v0.4.1 Ch.3 - main UI icons have been replaced with new icons to make all icons in the game have a consistent visual style. These also include the new icons from the bottom quick menu for qsave, qload, back, skip, auto and preferences. History button and save button was removed since it's located in the main menu. With all of these done, this is going to be the UI's final form and lines up with the Steam client. - a new feature for gallery has been added, Favorites! You can now add any background image you see in the game to this new gallery tab. You can add a new image to it by pressing the new star icon in the lower right corner, above the preferences icon, while playing. This icon will remain lit up for as long as that background is in the gallery and it persists across saves and routes so in this way you can easily keep track of what backgrounds you already added. These can also be deleted from the gallery by pressing the delete icon on a thumbnail. This lets players organize their own custom gallery if they want. Only still image backgrounds can be added, if an animation is playing favorite button gets disabled. - 2 background images have been added to the phone featuring Kyra that you can choose from. These won't be in the main gallery and are available on every path as soon as the phone is unlocked in chapter 2. In future chapter 4 update you can expect more phone backgrounds but for now I didn't have time to put them in. - a info screen has been added at the game start explaining some of the game systems and icons. - additional sound channels were created to separate sex sounds and effects from regular ones. Two new mixers were added to preferences menu where the volume of these effects can be controlled. Additional sex sounds and SFX will be added in the future to all current and future sex scenes. - ability to choose a rollback side has been added to preferences menu, it is set to disabled by default - dialogue box opacity slider has been added to preferences menu Fixes: - upon pressing a return button while viewing a image or a video in the gallery you will now be returned to the gallery menu instead of all the way into the game when you are in a active play session. - added a tongue to the guy in the first animation of club guys sex scene in chapter 1 - fixed up all animations for clara's sex scene in the prologue, reduced height so it's not floaty, enabled bed collisions for Kyra, added bend morphs to Kyra and Clara to increase realism, made nipples for Kyra and Clara more aroused. - in chapter 2 lantern's rest scene on solo good and solo evil paths music was changed to something more appropriate for that situation - in preferences menu ''Turn off Dialogue Box'' has been moved from ''Display'' section to ''Toggles'' - sex sounds are now looping during sex scenes and are also playing during replays v0.4 Ch.3 - Chapter 3 has been added, consisting of: - 1020 renders (2574 total) - 0 animations (20 total) - 46187 words (134.184 total) - 4677 lines of dialogue (16091 total) - 3 hours of reading across all paths (8.5 hours total) - 8 new music tracks (28 total) - 16 new SFX (51 total) - 18 new gallery entries - Achievements system has been implemented. As I'm beginning to work on a Steam client for eventual Steam release (hopefully), I have also decided to put achievements into regular version as well. Naturally, if you play other paths you can eventually collect them all. You can find them in the journal's main menu. - Journal has got the new tab, Achievements, where you can easily track all of the achievements you have collected and still need with descriptions on how to get them. There are a couple special achievements which are hidden however so you won't be able to see those until you get them, although currently none of those can be obtained yet, these are going to be more for endgame. - New notification popups icons have also been added for achievements which show once a achievement has been unlocked in the top center of the screen. - save/load screen now has >> buttons added which allows you to skip 10 save pages at a time, should help if you have a lot of saves that you want to skip through quickly. - main menu now has an animated logo at the start of the background sequence instead of a static one. - main menu and credits outro now have a theme songs for the game playing created by one of the game's fans. Really well done IMO. He also made the new animated logos. - new into studio logo has been added Fixes: - with the achievement system in place, memories tab in the journal main menu has been moved inside the codex menu. Also since certain achievements pull from memories data, but memories are path specific while achievements are permanent unlocks I decided to keep both systems for tracking purposes. - one render was removed from chapter 1 solo route during club guys scene when you mesmerize them. The glow effect from the eyes was removed. Honestly, I thought it looked a bit silly with the glow. - the single choice menu to open the door in the crypt has been removed. This was the only single choice menu in the game, don't really see the point in having it there. - three renders in the chapter 1 atrium market scene have been fixed up, they had black rectangles in them and also one had a floating bag. - two renders in prologue on solo path were fixed, during hobo feeding there was some clipping. - in ch1 solo route dream sequence eyes were changed to the new blood eyes - if you don't have enough points with Clara to where you get the option to reject her, she will now respond differently in some dialogue talking about you rejecting her. This way there's a clear distinction now that you didn't reject her and are only friends on what would become Miles's path. - increased save name character limit from 22 to 30 - ''Save the Game'' is now renamed to just ''Save'' and is now a button - phone UI system has had it's contacts screen reworked and now it includes the character portrait and short info about the character - Points re-balance update: - removed all points for stats and relationships that are given automatically and replaced with choice menu's where needed. This should give more direct impact on stat and relationship points to the player - removed all negative points for relationships and stats, they will no longer be able to deteriorate, only get stronger - all points will only get increases by a interval of 1 instead of random, this should keep the points more reasonable - some slight dialogue variations have been added to accommodate new choice menu's. - trust level has been removed from Clara's statistic. This was a old system which is no longer necessary with new points system since points can't drop anymore - Yuna and Erin have had State and Relationship added to their character sheets so now all main characters have same sheets. These will come more into play in chapter 4 and could change depending on your choices. - Miles's default state changed to ''Human'' to make it universal for all characters - on solo path you don't have to balance good vs evil points anymore carefully, the new choice menu's allow to chose which one you want so you can now go full evil or full good if you want, or you can mix it up in which case balance scale still plays a role on determining your path at the start of ch2. This means now you have more leeway if you want to be good but occasionally make bad choices here and there if you want. - there was previously a complaint that erin and yuna have so far not been given much points, if any. So I took this opportunity to add some extra choice menu's for both of them on all paths to push those friendships forward a bit quicker, especially on solo route where those points will matter more. v0.3.5 Ch.3 Demo - Scene 1 of Chapter 3 was added for all paths, consisting of: -160 renders (1715 total) - 6538 words (94535 total) - 608 lines of dialogue (9458 total) - 30 minutes of reading across all paths (6 hours total) - 3 new music tracks (23 total) - 1 new SFX (36 total) - main menu background now shows a series of images from the game instead of a static background - border around the textbox has been removed so it doesn't hide possibly important render details - phone messages now display a character icon when shown on screen and in the phone UI in messages screen. Fixes: - Some renders and animations from the prologue were adjusted to have the new ''blood eyes'' in them from ch2 evil route for consistency across the game. 7 images and 1 animation for ''bite'' route and 3 images and 1 animation for ''run away'' route were affected. - phone icon for Subscribestar fixed and is now visually in line with the other icons (Subscribestar page is not yet available) - phone messages were previously staying in the phone even if you loaded an earlier save after you got them or if you did a rollback to previous screen. This has now been fixed. As a result of this if you played ch2 before you will need to load a save that is before the message arrived at the end of the chapter if you want previous message to show up in the phone. I apologize for this but it couldn't be avoided, but if you don't care about having the message in the phone you can ignore this. v0.3.1 - a game breaking bug was fixed for a 4K version of the client, some variables for the new phone system were missing. - a previous bug fix which fixes the solo evil path with a lesbian focus has been implemented into this version, the previous fix is no longer needed. Players need to be ''cold and awkward'' towards Clara when first meeting her in order to get enough points for this version of the solo evil route. v0.3 - Chapter 2 has been added, consisting of: - 718 renders (1555 total) - 8 lewd animations (16 total) - 30881 words (87997 total) - 2797 lines of dialogue (8850 total) - 2 hours of reading (5.5 hours total) - 6 new music tracks (20 total) - 15 new SFX (35 total) - 24 new gallery entries - journal updated with 2 new lore entries and 4 events entries - solo path splits into good and evil paths depending on your previous good vs evil points balance - miles romance route starts, evolving from clara's rejected path - chapter 1 Atrium Market scene has been expanded on all paths with 25 new renders and two SFX for a first custom character commissioned by our Diamond tier Patron Jocik. Thank you for your contribution and I hope you like the short interaction with our MC and Clara I crafted for your character. - onscreen phone messages notification system and phone UI has been implemented. As the MC gets more familiar with modern technology, this will be used to facilitate long range communication in the story where needed. - gallery has had it's buttons layout changed by moving the main categories to the top and new phone category added. This will give more room for any possible future additional characters on the left character selection menu - gallery replay can now be exited with right mouse button - french and spanish translations have been temporarily disabled due to my translation tool no longer working so until I find the alternative the game will only be in English. If you used a different language you may need to delete your persistent file. I apologize for this. Fixes: - in chapter 2 demo there were three instances of poke through on Clara and doorman coat poke through outside club, these renders have been fixed - animations during lewd scenes were not looping, this has been fixed and looping should be now smoother than ever, still not perfect though on some animations but still learning to animate properly, once I nail this down I will go back and fix up all previous animations that have issues. v0.2.5 beta - Scene 1 of Chapter 2 has been added across all paths, this concludes the underground storyline that ended on a cliffhanger at the end of chapter 1. - 217 renders (1054 total) - 7356 words (63693 total) - 726 lines of dialogue (6699 total) - 30 minutes of reading across all paths (4 hours total) - 3 new SFX (22 total) - new credits screen has been implemented at the end screen and can also be shown via the new main menu button Fixes: - buttons in the lore and events tab of the codex journal have been fixed so that the last button doesn't get cut off. - in chapter 1 there were instances where characters would have a conversation about hair or clothes in a scene and then in a later scene they would have a similar conversation again. This has been now corrected. - typo's were corrected in the prologue when Clara asks if you want to help her out with her ''problem'' - a render has been fixed up in prologue where Clara is masturbating to not be as creepy looking v0.2 - Chapter 1 has been added, consisting of: - 607 renders (849 total) - 4 lewd animations (8 total) - 42645 words (56337 total) - 5022 lines of dialogue (5973 total) - 2.7 hours of reading (3.5 hours total) - 4 new music tracks (15 total) - 6 new SFX (19 total) - new translations (Spanish and French, AI translated-feedback welcome) - gallery rework consisting of 30 normal and 6 custom entries New tags: Group Sex (only on solo path), Interracial (only on solo path), Oral Sex Future tags that are likely: Vaginal sex, Anal, Multiple Endings, Creampie, Handjob, Multiple Penetration (involving toys, not people) Tags that will not be included: NTR, NTS, Harem, Sandbox, Cheating Most of these tags will be optional and depend on player choices they make through the game so its possible you may or may not encounter all of these v0.1.2_prologue - Initial release reworked the entire journal system to have a fixed window instead of resizing based on content and all content unified in one place. a new character stats and vampire abilities system has been implemented into the game and now sits in the journal stats page. The player can pick up a total of six passive abilities during the prologue which are the core to almost every vampire. Player will also get access to some active abilities in the future that will be able to be used in certain story situations, but while i already implemented the code for them, these are just too powerful to be used this early into the game so you can look forward to them in the future when the story permits their use. One such active ability has been put into the prologue because it fits and because this is a unique ability to the main character which she will only use this one time. Pretty much all other active abilities will require a high enough number of a certain stat, currently plan is to tie in one active ability to each stat, this should aid in replayability and exploration of other paths. character stats have also been implemented into the prologue, these can also be found on the stats screen. These also include the new morality system which will play into two of the potential endings. Due to all these changes to points a new game start will be required if you played early access versions! relationships page has been setup for the three extra upcoming characters, one of them will be a male LI for a romance path while the other two will be more casual and will be primarily friends to the character (with potential benefits if you are on solo path). These are not in the prologue but will be able to be unlocked during the upcoming chapter one of the story. MC has learned blood magic, a couple renders have been updated to better visualize and support the new abilities system. Some dialogue in the affected scene was adjusted to fit the updated visuals. New entries have been added to the codex and old ones were expanded. Notifications have been adjusted or new ones added to support the new stats and abilities system as well as relationship states. No one seemed to have noticed, myself included, that there were backgrounds missing in Clara's apartment scene. Took me a while but i finally noticed, lol. Anyway those are now all fixed up! v0.1.1_prologue - Initial release Hunger bar being interactive where player was able to drag the health bar to fill up their health has been fixed. Dialogue from start to finish has been spellchecked and grammar fixed up where it needed and some lines were corrected. Default Ren'py font has been added back in and can be now be selected in Preferences menu. This only affects the dialogue and certain UI elements for easier reading. Main UI font has been left custom as it was, this is a stylistic choice. Overlapping single choice bars have been removed, this should result in better flow, these will only ever be used if a scene necessitates such interaction and won't be excessive going forward. Shadows have been added to UI and dialogue fonts, this should help to make reading easier against brighter backgrounds Dialogue text alignment has been adjusted and character names have been put outside the textbox for a better look About screen has been expanded with more information about the game, this will hopefully address some questions about the direction of the game and where it will be going. Toggles for dialogue font size, dialogue spacing and self voicing (TTS) have been added to Preferences menu. There was an error in the code that was preventing door sfx at the end of the crypt scene from playing, it has been fixed. When choosing the player's first and last name, now only the first name will be displayed above the dialogue, in the dialogue itself either only first, only last, or both will be shown depending on a story situation. Some dialogue lines were adjusted on ''Run Away'' path to better convey the MC's conflicting thoughts on what happened. This was done to support a future ''Morality'' system for later chapters and will play into the future ''dark path'' Notification system has been added which will show an alert on the screen when new Journal entries, points and gallery unlocks happen. This should make it better for players to know when have something new unlocked or points changes happen. Some ''evil'' points were added to ''Run Away'' path to test out and prepare some backend functionality for a future morality points system. This currently has no impact on the story or the game outside the notification system to test it out. Journal system will be expanded in the future with a stats screen to support this system, so players will be able to keep track their points easily. Dialogue lines at certain points were adjusted or expanded upon with variety depending on Clara points. This should provide a bit more variety to the dialogue on different playthroughs. Some minor adjustments have been made to the points system in order to support the dialogue variety. Points allocations haven't been affected so a fresh playthrough shouldn't be necessary unless you want to see some new dialogue variety depending on your points. v0.1_prologue - Initial release - 13464 words of dialogue - 242 high quality static renders (not counting the gallery) - 4 sfw animations - 1 animation sequence consisting of 4 nsfw animations - custom UI - music, UI and video SFX

The game looks promising, but in many ways it's still a slightly above average - between 3 and 4 stars - still its worth to take place in collection. Looks like it have more than three paths and potential endings. Dialogs sometimes are on high level, but mostly average and this inconsistency a bit annoying. Also its not clear why there are just 2 chapters in the version 0.3?! At least these chapter feels not too short like in other games. I'm interested in this project and wish all be best to its developer!

First of all I do like to point out the story and writing of this game, it's not a game that is about having a FMC that fucks around (there is a option though), but rather a great storytelling with a huge amount of reading/storytelling regarding the context of said game ! So if you want to play a game that is about a FMC getting fucked left and right, than this game is not for you. Pretty early in the game you have the first option to either have a character being your main LI (btw. love this route and the interaction between those two early on) or avoid it. This is a important route split which gives you the option to date other characters instead of said LI afterwards. I know i'am rather cryptic about how this game works, but the best thing to do is to try play it yourself and see if you like or not ...

While the models are of very high quality (seriously, super detailed and very beautiful), the animations and writing/dialogue leave much to be desired. Also the focus of the content is disappointing (to me at least). There's too much content on Clara (she's very generic looking Americana Taylor Swiftian type, I'm sure we've seen a million Claras) and little to no content on the other girls like the 'Woman in Red' (seriously just wow that's a damn good looking big gal). And about the sex, there's almost none. So far, I've seen maybe 3 scenes, with one being interrupted and our MC getting slut shamed by the Woman in Red for it, so actually it's 2 and a half. This is very important because, well, it's why I play these sort of games. If I wanted story I'd go read, watch, or play something that doesn't require me to keep my search history clean. I mean come on, think about it. Vampire stories have been done to death, with the peak being Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines, what more can you add besides hot explicit steamy (bloody) sex that your average mainstream media can't get away with? That is your one advantage over VTMB, sexy times. Lean into it. Please. I wanna see the Woman in Red's Titties without a Dress. Overall, 3/5. More tall thick vampire lady content please.

Very nice project. It is still early on (commenting on V0.2), but the pieces are put on the board and the story is set-up to unfold. The game features some RPG elements and has some dating sim elements to it. For me, the biggest feature on the plus side is the female protagonist and the lesbian content. So far, there are fairly few choices. So a lot of RPG points are given without the player's input. The story just unfolds. I guess that may change going forward, but I guess, we will see. But so far, it is very nice and I am looking forward to how this project unfolds.

Prologue Review Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this prologue much despite how promising it looked first based on the description and the images. It suffers from many issues you see from aspiring, beginner writers and code that's barely holding together. But the most damning issue for me is the blatant use of AI to write a big chunk of the descriptions / inner thoughts and I'm sure many of the dialogues too. But let's go from point to point. The first thing most people will notice after starting the game is that the dialogue box is not aligned properly with the text, it is not centered. And right after that the second big issue is the font itself which is unnecessarily artistic and hard to read. If you're in the process of learning English, this game might be a real challenge for you to comprehend what is written. I highly recommend the dev to change the font. For some reason, we get a compilation of renders (without any text) for the crypt after we wake up. Unnecessary. I'm otherwise a fan of textless renders because I'm all for showing over telling, but there was no point to it here other than padding the number of renders. But my show over tell point also goes out of the window, because this game is frustratingly overwritten, but not just overwritten in the usual way you might imagine; it is overwritten in the absolute most impersonal, robotic way that lacks any personality. Reading the narrations and many of the dialogues were reminiscent of ChatGPT's default writing style in every way, and I'm certain it was written with AI, since there is a sharp distinction between the dev "writing" flawlessly, and other times making very basic errors, like writing "common" instead of "come on" (every time) in dialogues. The dialogues are mostly terrible, no human beings communicate like that. The renders are generally decent, and I'd even say that at times surprisingly busy and impressive, but there are other times where the person's face expression doesn't match the script at all and it makes for some awkward moments. The animations are also fine enough. As for characters, I don't think it's fair to judge based on the prologue, so I'll withhold my opinion on that. There are a few pointless single-choice menus, there is one two-choice menu that seem to actually matter where the plot unfolds differently. But if you want to see the only intimate scene in the prologue, you need to choose the right path. The one sexual scene in the prologue is nice if you like lesbian content, otherwise, you're probably better off waiting for a couple of updates. Overall, it was unfortunately a disappointing experience. The code needs tweaking to properly display the dialogue box and the name, the font is hardly readable, the writing is too much and very bland, the dialogues don't feel like real human interactions, and useless features like single-choice menus are needless. All that said, this is only the prologue, and I'm looking forward for future updates and I'm genuinely hoping that when I review it again, I can give it a much higher ranking. There is potential here, but changes need to be made. The render and animation quality is pretty good, that's why I give it 2 stars, but writing needs to be a lot better if we're ever to go up. If the dev can't write well without the help of AI, it's fine, but at least give the AI a distinct style then, tell it in details what exactly you're going for. You can write very well with AI, you just need to prompt it appropriately so it won't be this bland.

Ver 0.1 Prologue reviewed Possible Spoilers -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the story of a cute 18 year old vampire who wakes up in a coffin after a 1,000 year slumber. Unsure of how she got there she eventually manages to escape the crypt and make her way to the big city, which she sees on the not too distant horizon. Along the way you are introduced to a hunger system, which I assume will play a part in decision making as the game progresses. Upon arriving at the city, the MC finds a young woman named Clara standing by herself in a dimly lit alleyway. It just so happens that Clara was looking to turn her very first trick as a prostitute. Without giving too much away, the two immediately take a liking to each other and the MC agrees to spend the night at Clara's apartment. Here you are given the option to take the relationship to the next level and have sex. The prologue ends at this point. Pros: 1- Artistically beautiful. There are a lot of very nice renders to feast your eyes on. 2- A few zoomed in facial animations were really impressive. Well done! 3- Music was integrated fairly well, adding to the mood of the game. 4- The characters were cute and somewhat likeable. 5- The story shows promise. Cons: 1- Overly wordy with numerous grammatical issues. 2- Some facial expressions were very awkward, especially with Clara. 3- The sex animations were hit and miss, with some actions looking good and others looking stiff and somewhat comical. 4- The font, although very fitting to the games moody theme, was hard to read at times. 5- There were some one choice only option boxes. This doesn't bother me, but I know some people get annoyed by this. Final thoughts The developer acknowledged that English is not his native language and although this is an excellent attempt, it really comes off as way too wordy and awkward. Words such as "common" ( come on) and "i" (not capitalized) are scattered throughout the dialogue. It's obvious that a lot or work was put into the making of this prologue. I strongly suggest that the dev get help re-writing the game if he wants to take this to the next level. Good effort and good luck moving forward.
