‘Archeological Enterprise’ is a text-based adventure/rpg style game that puts you in the shoes of a vulpine archeologist tasked with helping a mysterious figure uncover a forgotten secret. The game features erotic content mainly centered around loss or game-overs, contains fantasy elements like magic and mythos, and will contain side paths and quests to enjoy.

v101722 Only changes are a few bug fixes that were preventing content from being accessed correctly, as well an issue with the map in the new candy-themed dungeon. v10122 N/A v21822 -Numerous bugs that were preventing content from being accessed have been fixed. -Entries for missions now work properly. -Issues with certain enemies causing a 'blank screen' hopefully fixed. -Improperly handled variables now, also hopefully, fixed. v12622 -A new dungeon with five scenes spread across three enemies that should be available after finishing the first museum quest and the first Agepian quest. -Numerous bugfixes that were preventing content from being accessed or softlocking the game. -Various balance changes, including making seduction slightly less powerful. v110721 - Wrote a guide for the game, detailing how to get through dungeons/levels as well as some of the major kinks involved therein. - Bugfixes that were preventing some content from being accessed. -A New Dungeon, part of the museum quest chain, heavy in tf content that has six new scenes spread across four new enemies. - Kristen's Description now displays as it should in the stats menu inside of dungeons and levels. -Re-balanced point-gain from hunting and from levels. -Fixed bugs leading to issues preventing content from being accessed. --Scenes haven't been touched up yet, but I will try to get to it for the next update. Alongside a new dungeon, I hope to have even more of the feedback and stuff addressed. A title that should tickle many common fetishes that falls short due to it's choice of an obscure engine. The lack of polish is understandable but the poor explanation and implementation of mechanics is compounded by the need to grind in a bare-bones system to acquire the games currency which is used for basically pumping up stats to pass skill skill checks isn't. The lack of an undo button really hits home when you find out that there is no autosave to rely on when the game inevitably breaks down and you find out late that the game is lacking the logic to handle exiting a loop and without any safeguards that prevents you from getting yourself stuck. Tldr: Decent writing quality, poor gameplay and dysfunctional UI.

This review is for v10122 So the game starts off with you in a town needing to do...stuff...a lot of grindy stuff...a lot of a lot of grindy stuff. Honestly, it's not bad, but it's not outstanding. The only way it seems to be able to get to any sexual content is to either spend a lot of time at the strip club (which has wonky mechanics that actually broke the game at some point for me) which just has your character masturbating in public, or to lose to enemies in various locations. I couldn't give it a lower score because that would feel unfair, but I can't give it a higher score either because it failed to lure me into the world and staring at a blindingly white screen with small text for hours on end is not good for the eyes. It was decent enough to arouse, but not decent enough to do more than that, which prompted me to go elsewhere for porn, which is not something you want in a porn game. I definitely recommend checking it out for yourself, but I heavily recommend to the creator to implement a dark mode as well as a font size adjuster and to probably also invest in commissioning some artwork for the game (not necessarily porn, but maybe environment art or character art, or literally anything to help draw the player in).
