Another FANTASTIC story wrapped up in an AVN. I love, love, LOVE when I find a game where the girls are cute, the story is good, and the sex isn't front-and-center. I also enjoy the discussions around AI and it's implications upon introduction to society. It's a fascinating topic and the way it's addressed in this story is both natural and intelligent, the author clearly isn't some brainless gooner. And on top of the story, the girls are all unique and attractive and the few facial kinks present in the first few chapters are ironed out by the end. The environments are well designed, the music is fitting but otherwise forgettable, and the few animations that there are happen pretty seamlessly and don't feel too janky. My ONLY complaint is that some of the animated scenes that play out feel like they take a bit too long. I understand it's just limitations of the tech, so I can't hold it against the author, but there are some times I have to REALLY resist the urge to click my mouse because the scenes are there for a reason and if you skip them, you'll miss something. Overall, I was bummed when I hit the current end-of-content, and that's always an indication of a great game. Artemis is adorable, and I really look forward to the next chapter!
I love this game so far, i can t rate it a 5 because it s not finished,but it definally has a very interesting premise and the characters feel like very real people not some dialogue with photos. I really like artemis she s both cute and fun i highly recommend trying this game its very well writen. I love wholesome games and this definally is one.
This is more like a 4.5 if I'm being honest. The narrative surrounding the core plot involving kindra and Artemis and the ex girlfriend is all really well written. You definitely get a certain degree of second hand excitement from creating something new and building something of your own. The whole thing really brings out the whole passion of creation vibe that I think made iron man 1 so successful. In addition to that the game has really good graphics for the most part. Artemis is incredibly attractive as are most of the other character models. When it comes to sex scenes, several are well animated and all of them are pretty well implemented into the story. That being said the game isnt without its share of minor issues bogging it down. The character models while stunning most of the time do have their fair share of uncanny valley moments and in certain scenes the lighting can make some character pretty terrible looking. Besides that theres a fair share of narrative bloat. This game is about Artemis and the whole transhumanist thing going on in the android engineering field, so I'm a bit thrown off when the game has me running errands for a sorority, whats more a sorority of geniuses who also all have jobs and who seem to have no other men sniffing around. Its fine, but juxtaposed to the core plot about romantic betrayal and scifi transhumanism the whole sorority plot line feels out of place. That being said, I understand the inclusion, you must sacrifice the random sloots to the ero gods to keep the audience entertained while you take your time telling the main story but anytime they show up I cant help but want to get back to the robots. The other thing I'm not a huge fan of is the amount of choices - each one seems to make some pretty significant impacts to relationships and plot lines. I'm not a huge fan of playing through games twice much less three or more so making it impossible to tag all scenes in a single play through is sort of a drawback in my opinion. But again thats a minor nitpik since that just means the author wants stuff to have narrative depth. All in all this is a very good game- I just wish it got more frequent updates.
Score: 4.8 Played: v 0.6.2b TLDR: Now this... is peak . Overall experience lands this among the best VNs I've had the pleasure of experiencing so far. The only caveat to this total recommend - if you happen to know a lot about programming (speaking as a dev myself), chemistry and/or engineering you will likely have a couple "eye-roll" moments Story: 4.5 ; Decently innovative, great story-telling and pacing. Loved the humor. MC is a breath of fresh air too. Deducted score because i simply cannot take something like an android that can Spoiler: Some details about the android aka one of the main characters which are revealed quite early on anyway eat (and does jack shit with the eaten food) and have a supposedly functioning uterus (...why? Guessing the author was going for a wow effect but it completely broke immersion for me, as this is equally impossible as it is unnecessary, heh) Characters: 5 ; Some amazing characters here, women whose good looks (some of the renders are really stunning) are actually complemented by interesting and (mostly) non-tropey personalities. Art: 5 ; The animations are top tier. Not just talking about smut here either... The menu animations, short vids here and there.. Personally, what i appreciate the most are the multiple renders that show movement or character expression changes.. IMO the author did an excellent job with such details and they bring the characters and the story to a new level.
This game is outstanding on many levels. The story and dialogues are excellent. A light sci-fi setting with great humor and a strong character writing. It’s simply a joy to read and see what happens next. What really stood out to me are the facial expressions and animations . Especially the expressions, something rarely done this well in AVNs. They bring the characters to life and make them feel genuinely wholesome and fun to interact with. Even if some character models are not perfect, the expressive faces completely make up for it. While this is technically an AVN, the adult content is relatively limited and handled with great taste. The scenes feel meaningful and enhance the narrative rather than appearing as routine fan service. The only real downside so far is the lack of branching . The story is mostly linear and dialogue choices mainly affect relationship points with characters, without major consequences yet. It’s also still unclear who the final love interests might be. Personally, I would love to see more character-focused side stories in the future (Reina, Paige, Katy, etc.). Overall, I can’t wait for future updates. It already feels like one of the strongest titles in the genre.
amazing game. The story is really well writen, the characters have some decent depth to them, the visuals are great and the interface is easy with no messing around . one of very few that have made it to my watch list because first i enjoyed it and second i can actually see this game being fully developed
I love sci-fi and I love this game. It’s one of the very few AVNs I’ve played where it’s not just “let’s have sex with robot” over and over. It discusses fascinating topics like human rights (or inhuman rights?) The writing is really well done and the character development is chefs kiss. kindra is best girl and I love her character so, so much. This is another one I bought and can’t wait until the next chapter.
I completed up to chapter 6. First. You can guide the MC to be a good person. This is very important for me, subjectively speaking. I may be wrong, but I only noticed one choice that could have a significant impact for deep branching the story into two paths, but, as far as I could tell, it's a linear VN (at least until the end of chapter 6) that, if it has multiple endings not merely related to who the MC will end up with, these multiple endings will be decided by choices that occur in the last chapter or chapters. Some characters are captivating, but most of them are two-dimensional and don't evolve. So far, at least 4 main characters evolve significantly. Unlike another famous VN, whose name starts with "E" and ends with "ternum", you can guide the MC's choices so that the MC isn't a jerk. On the contrary, the MC in this VN can take respectful and empathetic actions. However, some rare MC's childish attitudes and annoying jokes are ingrained in the plot, making them unavoidable for the player. Anyway, I consider the writing good with funny, sad and serious moments. It addresses some adult and contemporary themes. However, at times the tone becomes a bit adolescent. Spoiler: SPOILER I think it's one of the first science fiction works that addresses the issue of continuity in AI, even if superficially. And this issue of continuity is not only applicable to AI, but can also be applied to humans, teleportation, sleep, etc. Regarding the creator of this work, I note that some characters have purposes related to human well-being, which is more limited than well-being or conscious well-being. On the other hand, I agree with the idea that mistreating any form of life is probably wrong. There are dialogues addressing AI, society, and ethics. Since there are vocational courses that don't address ethical and social issues, limiting themselves to the technical aspects of IT professionals, I think they can gain some food for thought to complement their training by "playing" this visual novel. The writer(s) have some experience in the workings of the job market, bringing up some issues and scenarios related to it, which I find healthy and informative. Although rarely expressed, I agree with the MC's political views. Sometimes I get the impression that some of these visual novels and games are university psychology graduation projects. Which isn't a bad thing. Whoever is the mind behind this game, they are well-intentioned and kind-hearted. Artemis deserves to exist and to live.
I don't usually write reviews, but damn.... this will be my first ever! The story? Amazing. Great story telling from start to finish, hilarious banter between the main LIs + MC. Definitely a game that has you wanting to keep playing, seeing what's next for the MC + those around you. The visuals? They get better with each chapter (there is a notice when you first load up about why). Stunning visuals, beautiful girls. The lewd content fits in with the story, it's not a fap-fest, each lewd moment feels like it connects well with the story. My first run through I seemed to of miss a few potential "moments" but that's to be expected, so choose wisely (or use a walkthrough!)
Artemis is a game with a story so good it almost makes you forget that this game is a porn game, the story is amazing as it is well paced and gives characters the backstory needed to grow, although most characters besides the main three (Artemis, June, Kindra) feel like they are just getting left in the dust as the story progresses. Which I get why there are like the Sorority girls and the main three plus your ex that you all need backstory for will take a long time and will be a slog to read. The only thing holding this game back is the lack of sexual content. Most scenes reuse the same positions for animation, and there are no kinks in here, mostly just vanilla sex. The boldest thing was coerced sex with your ex. The sex scenes too are not long at all, mostly just a minute, so you are not cumming to this game. If you want an interesting story play this game but do not look into it if you want to get off from it.
This to me is what perfection looks like in an adult game. I have a very simple criteria for what makes a game worth playing or simply going to the next. Very few games are able to get me interested enough to actually leave a rating. They ether have to be amazing or just plain bad. I know what I like and what I don’t. Thus if a game has content that is not my thing I do not waste time playing it or leaving a review. For me an adult game should satisfy the following to be five stars. great writing- this is done solidly and each character is unique with their own quirks and personalities that the writer takes time to actually develop and explain. story- the story for sci fi is believable and with the way ai is moving May be closer to reality than we think. Now down on your luck guy stumbles into something successful would not be unique or interesting on its own. However this is a brilliant and smart individual who got screwed over by a deceitful woman. The person he stumbles into was someone who was very important to him and to her so the fact they end up working together and helping each other out is believable. This is again due to the fact the writer thought and planned this out well. Each story with the npcs, their relationships, and how they are all interconnected is explained and played out really well. adult content- why most are here right? I enjoy it as a person who favors more romantic vanilla love making. So for me it’s a win as I hate games where it’s sex all the time for little to no reason or a Mc where every female drops their panties without even knowing them. If you like well thought out relationships and love this is for you. If you want a quick fap move on to other games with no flavor other than sex. overall this is one of the best games I’ve played here. I look forward to every release. It’s my personal number one game and I do not see that changing anytime soon.
It's definitely a 5/5 visual novel, but mileage may vary on if its a perfect adult visual novel. The story, characters, and plot are excellent. The model quality is a bit off putting at the start, but is improved quite a lot as the story goes on. The adult content skews toward being quite vanilla and staid, and while the game doesn't enforce strict monogamy, you'll start having to pick between routes as you get to the later content, inherently missing some content. The render quality later on is really quite good, and the characters and writings largely make up for any short comings if you're the sort that is playing for the plot.

I'll say up front that sex scenes are the most important part of an AVN for me. While Artemis had a great story and characters, I didn't find the sex scenes very...satisfying. Thus, my overall Average rating. I was optimistic after seeing the first sexy scenes in the game which included: Fully animated (motion) scenes. The ability to revisit positions before ending the scene. Very attractive partners. Good body type range (except small breasted...but as I'm not a fan of that type, not a negative for me). Unfortunately, as I played the game, my hope of improved and more fully developed sex scenes never realized. My complaints include: No sound effects or sounds of pleasure from the females. Many of the scenes in the early chapters were sped up to unrealistic speeds that made the body physics look fake. No camera angle control In later chapters, a new method to create the scenes made the characters look different, breaking immersion. Full sex scenes were rare, averaging 1 per chapter. As you progress through the game, the sex scenes become shorter and shorter. To this last point, I understand it took a very long time to put out chapter 6. I can't help but wonder if the sex scenes were cut down to save time. Either way, the sex scenes were very disappointing overall. The story, however, is very interesting. I would have liked tighter integration with the sorority girls (which may happen through the business relationship). As it is, the interactions with those girls feel like just booty calls. Artemis...is adorable. Developer nailed that on the head. If you are looking for a fun story with very light weight sex scenes, I would recommend this game. I would be interested in watching the rest, but it sounds like it will be many years before the developer finishes this story.
An excellent VN, absolutely loved it and left me wanting more!! The visuals, characters, writing and story are all brilliant and a breath of fresh air. if you are in two minds about playing, then this is your sign to just play it, you wont regret it!!!
God tier game. The character writing is impeccable, the MC is one of my favorite MMCs in any game, not just AVNs. I'm genuinely in love with this game, I will glaze it till I die. Also the humor is very on point for a somewhat serious game.
I m sorry DEV but the robotic faces and the Psyco expressions of the models are unbearable. I tried, i really tried to like this game, but i just can t. The animations are better but still.. I cannot cope with this kind of models..Good luck and sorry.
Most uncanny valley game I've ever seen. Girls (look fine but nothing special) all look like they're screaming in my face during conversations. Ease up on the expressions eh. Doesn't help that the renders are FULL of artifacting. No thank you
I reserve judgment to edit this later on but man... I feel it would be unfair to rate it anything other than 5. Story is pretty cool. Characters are great. Even Mc - not that I generally care about them a lot - but it's an ok dude. Girls are not just pretty but interesting personality-wise. Sure there seems to be a certain bias body type-wise - on the curvy side, geometrically too perfect, not a lot of skin texture (as it's often the case) - so dolls, pretty much all of them - not necessarily my cup of tea, but it's executed really well. There's just a nice amount of tension in the story, good villains that are not cartoony dumb. I feel I am not supposed to, but I find villain lady very hot. Main menu animation as of 0.6.1, man, normally I say I don't care, focus on the game, but that's some of the best if not the best facial expressions ever I seen in an AVN. Fantastic work. If I wanted to say something negative, sexual scenes are a bit rare and very simple and short, but the story and interactions with the characters almost make up for all that. I'm curious how the relationships will develop between Mc and girls, so far so good, could improve and deepen slightly but I also see how keeping casual may be an advantage to allow a more natural fuckfest which I fully take advantage of. Curious how this goes on, hoping for a great continuation and completion.
Review for version 0.6.1 I have to say, this is as good as Eternum. One of the best AVN I've ever played. Yes there's some porn scene in this game, but more than anything, the story is captivating, and the models are really hot. Some conversation about AI are also really interesting. Keep it up dev!
