About At All Costs
At All Costs is a text-based adult dating sim and management sandbox created by MistralionDev in HTML, using AI-generated 2D CG artwork. You play a young man with no job, money, or prospects, whose encounter with an old friend opens possible paths toward personal change. The game mixes story choices with simulation-style activities, including minigames and progression.
The current build is v0.1.1, released July 11, 2024, and development is ongoing. It is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac, in English, uncensored. Latest changelog adds stock market simulation and stock trading, an equipment system, a progression system, a stock-related substory, a faster pawn shop minigame, general UI improvements, and one new adult scene. It also notes that vehicles can be owned even though they cannot be ridden in an HTML game.

A young man finds himself at his lowest point, with no job, no money, and no prospects. Nothing much to lose. Nothing holding him back. And suddenly, meeting with an old friend opens up a whole new world of possibilities. However, whether it's a chance for personal redemption or the first day of the rest of his life, that's only up to him, his choices, and his sheer will.
