From my personal experience when it comes to playing my choice of video games on this website. The story is most of the time what holds a game back from being something good or even great. And other aspects of the game have to pick up the slack and carry the dead weight. But this game reversed that trend. The story is the only real reason why i continued to play until the end. Despite all other parts of the game being at best lackluster, or at worst, dogshit. I dont expect Tolkien level writing from a game centered primarily around fucking hot women, so standards have to be lower for what qualifies as good writing. And i can easily say this game has some really good story that compels you to continue playing to find out what happens next. with some decent worldbuilding and characters, this game has a pretty good story. What is not good is everything else. I am genuinely impressed by how often my little soldier was soft though the sex scenes. The 3D models are ugly, unoriginal and flat, it feels like almost all of the love interests are nothing more but a reskin of the same 3 models. And the “animation” and model posture is wooden, at best. Despite this being made in a Ren'Py engine, this game does have “gameplay”. Although it is pretty generous to call it that. It is barely more complex than pong, it is genuinely hard to make a mage build that you cannot complete the game with. All you have to do is spam your best offensive ability and heal when you need to, thats it. Thus the gameplay feels like nothing more than filler, to bog me down and increase my playtime through artificial means.

I expected so much for it to let me down. Multiple characters never visited again and characters with too many sex scenes with no variety. The ending was rushed which I don't understand since the game was long already so why not take your time with it. Ultimately I just don't feel satisfied and it's so long I feel even worse. The premise was good. The Dialogue and the world building were good as well. The sex scenes were rarely good. That might be because I prefer the curvier women and the dominating and creative scenes, but these were too far between for me. I would have liked more time in the orc and dark elf lands. More demon and other race sex scenes. At least give an option to get with a centaur since you teased some hot ones. So in the end more variety and more content in non-human lands (which add more variety) is what I would have liked. Then you could have cut some scenes with the girlfriend and teacher. It looks like it teased a sequel which I'll be down to try and see if there are improvements. This one came so close, but I won't be replaying and don't recommend unless the dialogue is enough for you and you like being teased with hardly any pay off where it counts. I will say I like the ending with pregnancy tho. This game is overrated I think because it's long with good dialogue. It might be worth one playthrough but you've been warned finishing it might leave a bad taste in your mouth.

It seems the dialogue and narration was written by someone who has never read a book of fiction in their life. Lore is so uninspired, a 10 year old could come up with something similar. IU is abhorrent: the big black semitransparent box that pops up in the middle of the screen is super distracting, and tabs with your stats and money are always on screen for no purpose, not to mention icons meant to represent your abilities are not intuitive in the slightest. Sex scenes are dry as hell. Visuals are fugly. Combat is so dumb, it drained my gray matter. Seriously could not play this for more than 2 hours - this is torture.

It has a very long gripping story. It has an action system reminiscent of old-school rpg games, which is very successful and develops nicely with the story. The number of characters is quite high, which we can say is wonderfully rich for harem-like games. It's just a pity that there is a lack of contact with some of the characters, which I don't want to give spoilers to. I haven't replayed Act 1, but there seemed to be very few disconnects with Act 2, I think that may be related to the old save. Definitely worth playing.

An ambitious effort, but sadly fails to deliver. (Review of Act 1 only) Feels like an amateur writer's private self-insert fetish fantasy. As the player, you have zero agency - this is the main character's story, and you're just along for the ride. Unfortunately, despite the game's best efforts (and many hours of dialogue), the writing just isn't capable of making any of these characters particularly interesting or realistic. Similarly, there's a whole detailed world with a backstory and everything, which we're forced to spend quite a lot of time learning about, but it's all pretty shallow, basic fantasy tropes. Gameplay consists of 90% standard visual novel dialogue. There are occasional choices, but they feel exceedingly token - mostly variations of "do you want to see this sex scene that's obviously about to happen?" Despite being technically a sandbox roleplaying game, it never feels like you have any say in how the story goes; you're forced to watch as the main character makes his own choices, while the player is left with the crumbs. Example: after a time skip early in the game, your character gets a girlfriend, who remains your girlfriend for the entire plot. This happens entirely off-screen, and you're never given any kind of choice in the matter, even if you choose to pursue any of the other dozens of love interests. The author assumes that of course you're interested in this girl, why wouldn't you be? Of the remaining 10% of the game, half is a "sandbox" where 9 out of 10 options are "You clicked on the wrong location; try clicking other locations until you stumble upon the one the author expected you to telepathically know is the right one." The other half is surprisingly extensive combat system, featuring dozens of monsters and spells... that ultimately all do exactly the same thing. Once again, it's clear that a lot of effort was put into the combat, but without any understanding of what makes a combat system interesting . It's a shame, too; there was a lot of potential in having your magic influence the plot, but that never once manifested. You might think maxing out mind-control magic would let you manipulate love interests, for example, but no; your world-record-shattering magical skills are mentioned a lot, but never used . If you manage to put up with all of this for the sake of the sex scenes, you'll probably be disappointed there, too. Once again, there's a decent quantity of them, with reasonably nice graphics. But they're very mechanical; a few renders of a naked 3d model in basic poses, no artistry, no passion, no sexiness . And once again, it's very much the author who chooses who and how you fuck. You weren't interested in this love interst? Too bad! Overall, the game deserves applause for the amount of effort it put in. But all the effort in the world can't make up for amateur writing and direction.

Good game with a few flaws. In general though, definitely recommend for fans of VNs with a more high fantasy setting. The main problem was, as already described by many others, that the plot, pacing and general story kinda drifted away in the second act. Especially because new characters were introduced constantly, which meant that there was just no real time or incentive to give them any more depth than necessary. The love/corruption system felt completely unnecessary and there also was not really any explanation so you could just assume what it did. The combat system was a cool idea but got boring really fast. At the end you just spammed your strongest DPS skill and a CC skill in between. It kinda was missing weaknesses or strengths on enemies that you can take advantage of. Also the enemies became massively bullet spongy at the end and the combat system was not THAT engaging that it was fun. Luckily combat is completely skippable from act II onwards. One thing I really liked was how the dev handled the changes in spells and UI in between Act I and Act II. It actually was integrated in the story as something of a "training arc" for the MC, which made it actually feel very organic. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about the change in system after the first 10% of the game. It was not a big change and it is nothing I would reduce a star for, but I think it would be nice to go back to that part and maybe rearrange the combat system so it stays the same (or add a similar story hook like in between Act I and II that explains why the MC suddenly fought "differently"). A personal gripe I had was that the game basically lead you to believe a full harem ending was possible, but at the end it split into multiple endings (which is good in general) but it also kinda felt that the whole harem setup was just so they were able to put in as many sex scenes as possible without consequences. And I know there are technically 2 harem endings, but neither of them really felt right, they felt shoehorned in. But this is a fully subjective thing and if you are not interested in the harem ending, then it is whatever. All in all definitely a game worth playing and I think it fell into the same issue many games in this genre fell: great idea, great start but a rushed ending. Given I know writing a good endings is really hard, I do not hold it against them though. I think it would be worth trying to integrate Act I and II in just one game and go over the initial few hours of gameplay to update it to the standards in the later parts of the game, but this is also just a personal suggestion, I am aware that this is not really a priority, which is fine.

The first act pretty engaging, though forced in some places, but it wasn't boring. Interesting lore, worldbuilding and plot. Good balance between the scenes and the plot and pretty promising with established mechanics and choices. But the second act turned into a very slogish kinetic novel. Slice of life with a harem and an endless stream of dialogs about nothing. Honestly, I couldn't stand it and just dropped it. On a separate note, I want to talk about the scenes, they are just mediocre and beyong boring for me with no imagination whatsoever. The text part is just copy-paste (ahhh. Good... ahh Fuck) jeez why? The visuals are as boring and junky as the textual ones. I'm not used to 3D rendering, maybe such junkiness is a feature though.. Speaking of harem, lots of characters have very few scenes. (some are okay) but there are a lot of key characters who have just very few.. which was pretty disappointing. It's also the first time I've seen such a weak corruption mechanic that does nothing. Either way it's just mediocre, I don't understand why such high ratings.

Started great, but then it became a stupid circus with nonstop sex. Like literally 20% story, 80% sex scenes. And the worst part is the ending: I think I got the worst "pity" ending, but I literally have no idea what went wrong. The game was giving me nonstop sex scenes until the very end (since every girl loves u and wants to fuck u), but in the end u can't find anyone aside from some random prostitute to finish the game It's probably broken somewhere, but no fix was released, so idk. What's the point of telling that girl love is maxed if u can't even pick her? I really don't have time to research a walkthrough with probably a thousand choices to understand what went wrong. In the end I can describe this game as "disappointment" and "a waste of time".

Man I absolutely love this game. Probably one of my favorite fantasy themed game out there. Giving it a rating of 5 stars, even with several shortcomings to the game. Loved the plot and world building, got me playing from start to end without even skipping much dialogues. That along with the choices, characters, and endings allows for multiple playthrough. The ladies in the game are also really beautiful, and each have their own personality. I just absolutely love Queen Lufina, probably my favorite elf design by far. Cerea is really great as well. Combat system is also pretty fun, plus having the option to skip the battles is a really nice touch. Love the music selection as well! There are however some unavoidable scenes throughout the game. The main issue I have with Ataegina is that there's just too many characters in the game, with some of em not having much impact to the story at all. While it is nice to have plenty of options, the sheer number of females here really affects the amount of time/scenes you get with each of them, that along with a number of unsatisfying endings, felt the endings could've been a little deeper with the characters. Mida for example, has scenes early on from Act I and all the way through Act II. But with Queen Lufina, there's really only one scene with her and that's at her solo ending. The bedroom scene doesn't really count, since getting to Lufina's ending would mean picking the royal title and missing the bedroom scene anyway. Would've loved solo endings for Cerea and Ayna too! Dev seems to be in the process of polishing the game, fingers crossed for solo endings for Ayna, Cerea and Katriona. Would definitely love to have more solo H-scenes with Ayna, Queen Lufina, and Lust since her scenes are mostly only in dream scenarios. Pros: -Fantastic story -Beautiful characters -Queen Lufina!! -Good selection of music -Decent combat system, skippable as well Cons: -Lack of animations -Lack of solo endings for some of the girls -Too many dream scenes -Some unavoidable scenes

worldbuilding was a good at the start but I think it got a little out of hand towards the end. i also felt like there were too many characters as a lot of them didn't get too much screentime. there are a lot of endings but I am sad that there is no harem ending with all the LIs, as they are all grouped. I'm not sure why this isn't possible since the MC is pretty much a god in the end.

This game deserves its stars simply because it is finished. I've got hundreds of games that I follow, but most of them are unfinished and they will stay that way. Unfortunately, I couldn't play this game to the end, even using the walkthrough mod. The reason I abandoned the game was the blandness of the models. The faces are somewhat different, with features ranging from cute to ... cute, apart from some demons that were just plain ugly. The bodies, on the other hand, are quite featureless. Most bodies resembled that of Mida. The other issue I have is the writing. Lots of infodumps, lots of transitions and fights that you don't know if they are real or dream, and lots of text which is a chore to click through. I get it that the devs fell in love with their world, but to me that world seems a tedious harry potter ripoff. I also have an issue with the chosen one trope, but that would have been fine if the sex scenes were less boring. Which circles back to the models that are objectively boring, just nice faces with nothing else interesting. Otherwise, no bugs for me, the game is finished, and lots of content.

its an excelent game with plenty of nice mechanics and the story is ok! the world and lore are well built. i would prefered a deeper path for each girl and the hability to make decisions! like spending more time with my elf princesses and let the orcs get fucked! so nice story, good mechanics, really nice sex scenes but as a game could have aimed higher! but in comparison with the rest thats around? its better then the vast majority of other games on this site!

One of the best if not the best game in this XXX fantasy genre, I really liked that ending where Mida assimilates Lust, it was very good. Of course, there's always one little thing or another that I would change, but overall a very good story, renderings and characters. Perhaps the only thing that bothered me the most was that the demon Carilielli disappeared or died, she should have been part of the MC's harem, little screen time for Diana I would also add her to the harem. If I could make one suggestion, it would be a continuation of this game in the same universe and the return of the more interesting's female characters.

One of the best adult games I ever played. It's so much more than just a porn game. It has a good written plot which catches me so much that I want to play it again and try all other possibilities. I played many games with multiple endings and I often thought about playing again and never did but this game is something else. I will definitely do. Thank you so much for your great work!

A game that I had high hopes for and have played many times over the years over the course of it's development life. I now see the game for what it is - a shallow pathetic excuse for a harem fantasy game where you have absolutely no control over your character. PROS - You can have a harem - Beautiful ladies and great characters (Like Cerea, there are a few others I really liked but I can't remember their names) - Plenty of sex scenes - Good/Evil Paths CONS - You can't choose whose in your harem, I think you can tell certain girls your not interested/want to break up, but they come back at some point only to disappear again. Your choices are meaningless. - The story goes nowhere. It's a pointless kinetic novel disguised as an RPG where the ending only goes one way or the other and your choices no matter what they are will always lead you down either path. - Part II completely ruins everything. It has better graphics and looks better overall, but story wise it's a nose dive from Part 1. - The endings are garbage, the evil ending especially so. It just feels empty when you conquer the world. No emotion, no proper sex scenes, nothing. Everybody who survives is a slave, this not what I wanted or expected. Where is my harem of loyal followers? Total crap. If the developer can learn from these mistakes and make the characters, story, and choices matter in his next game I would still give it a go, but as it stands Ataegina is complete failure in my eyes on nearly every level.

V.complete a game that tries for epic fantasy but falls a bit short for me. a lot of what happens in early game becomes obsolete and the endings are mass effect meets daniels K, both uninspired and pick apart your harem bit by bit. becoming an MC who extricates himself from a harem is never going to be my first choice mid game is good with plenty of battles and adult scenes aplenty. the story is in full structured swing and the game flows. i get a sense that the developer has found their pace and is ready to work something new, which if this is anything to go by, should be worthy of anticipation. hopefully with the whole fantasy instead of a bitesize ending
