About Beneath the Celestial Banner
Beneath the Celestial Banner is a Ren'Py adult game by CasiO2 that uses 3DCG art. It is set 300 years after the fall of the Li dynasty, when territorial states rebelled and civil wars spread. Seven states remain, and the four strongest are Wu, Jin, Chu, and Li, while Karma, Dorje, and Chen are the others. You play a male protagonist, Chen Yin, the tenth prince, as he returns from studying in Karma to help King Chen manage Chen and resist Wu’s growing pressure. The game focuses on adventure and combat.
The current build is v1.2, released July 17, 2024, and it is not a final release, so development continues. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Android in English, with no censorship. The latest update adds chapter 2, a gallery, replay chapter, additional adult scenes, animation, and spell check. Earlier builds introduced chapter 1 as the initial release.
Developer's description
300 years ago, the Li dynasty collapsed. The territorial states began to rebel and demand autonomy, leading to civil wars breaking out everywhere. Until now, only seven states still exist and compete with each other. The four strongest states include Wu, Jin, Chu, and Li (central government states). The remaining three states are Karma, Dorje, and Chen. Realizing that the Wu state was gradually becoming stronger and more aggressive, the tenth prince, Chen Yin, returned to his homeland after seeking knowledge in Karma. He aimed to assist King Chen in managing the state and making it capable of withstanding the growing pressure from Wu.
