About The Bad Guys

The Bad Guys is a Ren'Py adventure created by Crackedreality, presented with 3DCG visuals and combat elements. It is set in a sci-fi future where humanity has expanded across the galaxy using the Quantum Drive. Radiation from the stars changes some humans, giving them superpowers. You play as Kazanova, a member of a pirate crew for three months, caught between rival pirate factions and a navy pursuing your infamous captain.

The current build is version Ep.1, released July 16, 2024. As the first episode, it represents an ongoing episodic project rather than a finished game. It is available on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is fully uncensored. The latest changelog lists Episode 1 as the initial release.

Developer's description

Humanity has reached out to the stars. Space exploration reached whole new levels. Humans reached far planets and could travel across the galaxy with their new technology, the Quantum Drive. Some few humans are affected by radiations from the stars, as a result, their DNA evolved and they started gaining special abilities. Your name is Kazanova, you've been with this pirate crew 3 month. You'll find yourself in the middle of it with other major pirate factions and the navy who's trying to capture you and your Captain who seems to be infamous for doing bad deeds everywhere.
