About Bittersweet Hours
Bittersweet Hours is a Quickbite-created Ren'Py adult visual novel with 2D CG art. You play Aiden, a male protagonist who, after long personal struggles and bullying, receives an invitation from his mother's old friend to spend time in Cherryvale, a small town. The story follows him as he meets eccentric residents, helps with their problems, explores local mysteries, and forms relationships that become more complicated than expected. The game combines humor with adult situations and sandbox-style progression. Cherryvale includes political caricatures and neighbors with questionable life choices.
The current build is version 0.2 Pre-Alpha, released on November 2, 2026, so development remains early and ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, uses English, and includes uncensored adult material.

After years of personal struggles and relentless bullying, a young man named Aiden receives an unexpected letter from an old friend of his mother. She invites him to leave everything behind and spend some time with her in the small town of Cherryvale. What starts as a simple change of scenery quickly turns into something much more complicated. Cherryvale is full of eccentric characters—political caricatures, neighbors with questionable life choices, and women with stories worth uncovering. Here, Aiden will laugh, get invested in other people’s lives, help them face their own problems, dig into local mysteries, and maybe even find himself tangled in relationships that are far more complex (and intense) than they first appear.
