Let me get to the point: the game is cool, the scenes and art are gorgeous and the atmosphere is good. Now, my issues with the game: 1- you get near zero explanation of the controls and mechanics. I had to litteraly press every key in my keyboard to figure out how to play the game. 2- Saving. The only way I found how to save is by entering the store, which is ar the beginning of the map. This mean an extremely long section I need to go hrough without dying, which would not be too big a problem if not for issue 3. 3- Enemies and enemy interactions. I would say I have no problems with any one enemy in the game, they all have their mechanics and are easy enough to deal with. The problem comes when theres more than one enemy type in the room, especially if one of them is a ghost. When any enemy other than a ghost gets you you are sent into a button mashing minigame, which in itself is fine except for the fact you don't have immunity, so what would regularly happen was that I'd get caught by an enemy, get swarmed by ghosts and go from full health to zero before I could mash my way free. This did happen due to me messing up and getting caught at times yes, but it happened mostly due to the fact that monsters can be at the door whe you enter a room, and as far as i'm aware theres' no way of knowing that before you enter, meaning i'd REGULARLY enter a room, get unlucky and face a nearly unavoidable death spiral. 4- Bugs. Lots of them. I want to like the game, I really do, but these issues cause a problem where the game doesn't feel challenging, it feels outright unfair and frustrating. It has so much potential to be genuinely fun but these problems make it almost unplayable in my opinion

Look, I see some real potential here, but as of now it suuuuuucckkss. I like the puddlegirl and the ghosts, even the shop mechanic is kinda neat though very buggy. The game explains nothing, has no save or restart function and is very bare bones overall despite being over a gigabyte. It's h to heal btw, the game never tells you this so I might as well.

Interesting mechanics, good art, and a legitimate game. It's let down by the fact the gameplay kind of sucks, has bugs, is surprisingly hard , and the actual game is pretty short on content. This is a version 0.0.1, so there is definite room for improvement. Give it a look, put it in your watch list, and come back in a month or so.

This game has a lot of potential to be great, with its unique art style and its interesting premise , it has a solid chance to be a masterpiece in its own right. But there are many things holding it back, now some of these can be excused due to it being version 0.01 , and those issues will be addressed, but I will mainly focus on the gameplay , worldbuilding and the characterisation of the protag and enemies, or lack there of. Firstly the gameplay is unoriginal and stale , following the bland formula of hide and seek gameplay , while trying to escape a building, this has been done to death, and it saddens me that this formula has been chosen, but alas, they seem to do the formula to a very mediocre level, with some sections having the main issue , being the fact that every tracking enemy locks onto you and homes until you leave the area, this being the standout disappointment of their execution of this gameplay type. This could be improved by a degree by at least delaying their appearance time so you are in the middle of the room preventing you from just instantly exiting. Secondly the lack of world building is irritating but understandable as the game is in its early stages, but I believe adding environmental storytelling like notes , signs of those before you, and a more diverse theming of areas to make them all feel more unique. Lastly the Characters is also an issue explained by the current development state of the game, but it needs to be said that character dialogue during defeats , captures and when entering a unique area , would go a long way to improve the game, especially enemy dialogue as not having that makes them feel less like monsters trying to rape you, but as an enemy asset that is merely coded to make you lose.

I'm rating at a three based on its potential. Its full of bugs and needs some tune ups, but the art style is strong and I think that with some work this can be something good. Definitely be sure to check back here after a few updates.

buggy as hell. can't get past door 3 without some bullshit happening. theres this stupid ass alligator puddle thing that swarms to me, turns off my lighter and flashlight, and just rapes me on the spot.

It's decent, nothing crazy. Scenes and animations are a bit scuffed. Has a lot of potential to be a good side scroller, just wish we got better 2D animated scenes and maybe do away with the 3D animated scenes as it's just a gif really, not much depth to it.
