What a weird game. I love the writing of the characters and the story about pushing boundaries is very fun. I especially like the way MC's wife reacts to swinging or cuckqueen routes, it feels realistic and interesting to read. The models and backgrounds have very high quality, many of the sex scenes are fire, especially the build ups. Now... for the negatives. Ai animation is very hit or miss, some characters completely change faces mid scene. There's also some morphing issues and fuzziness too, which is usual for AI. Artificially voiced animations are especially rough, for me personally they jump straight down the uncanny valley. Honestly, I don't even get why they are there, it's baffling to me, but I might be in the minority on that one. There's a lot of blue balling, which makes all the high quality build up just fizzle out in an anti-climactic fashion. The scene where MC and his wife where playing around in the kitchen while their guests were sitting in a jacuzzi ended in such an abrupt manner, that I had to check the gallery to make sure I didn't fuck up somewhere. I would still recommend playing this novel if the tags interest you, especially for the cuckqueen and strict daddy routes, but my rating is getting closer to 3/5 the longer I play.
Impressive 3DCG fidelity, an interesting story with a good amount of humor along different paths, great animations and many animated finishers, not just static images flashing white. I wish the MC's cock wasn't a weird, deformed fleshy bag straight out of some apocalyptic mutant movie. It actually ruins many oral and handjob scenes. Another problem is too many fake lewd scenes that stop prematurely (hiding, getting caught, dream sequence, etc.). Getting blueballed is tough in real-life, but in a game that is literally a PORN GAME its a crime. What I'm very impressed with are the male supporting characters. Not many games get those right without becoming super cringy, especially when NTR lewd scenes are involved, but Burning Boundaries nails it perfectly. Sadly the story takes some hits when it comes to consistency and continuity in later stages, especially in the butchered Steam version. Story segments lack connections and seem randomly put together, dialogs have the wrong tags (wrong character name or outright missing, "thoughts" not marked as such) which adds to the confusion. Angelica's Strict Daddy path kept me going despite all shortcomings and overall I very much enjoyed playing the game. Looking forward to non-Steam Season 2. If the dev continues the greedy censorship path however, there is no point in continuing to play.
I didn't go through all the available reviews, so hopefully I can offer a POV not yet submitted. Tldr, a feast for your eyes, not usually seen in most AVNs. Pros:Very steamy situations, a lot of blue balling, super hot LIs, great use of AI to present above average animations. The dev even has various characters using their animated mouths to speak, and playing the game on mute, I was able to tell what they were saying. If this isn't impressive, I don't know what is. Cons: Blue balling is done right in this game, but it still is blue balling. Going back and fourth with the therapist is a nice touch, but it breaks immersion for me. The few and kinda far apart actual (I don't count oral, grinding etc as sex, this is foreplay) sex scenes (didn't play the full NTR) have been built up expertly, but the actual sex is done kinda poorly and last very little in comparison to the built up. Having said all that, and if I had to review based on the above the game would get an easy 4*. Why am I giving it a 5*? Never have I ever seen a game where the cuckqueen is done so believably. Wife is in a constant internal turmoil with herself, and although not depicted perfectly, it is still believable. This, for me, is the main thing in this game, and I dig the way it is presented. Regarding the pure NTR path, I wasn't really sold in the way that it was offered, so I rejected such cases. I would however try cases that would include the MC, leading to DPs with any LI. Closest was Miranda and I enjoyed the scene, I would hope more will be added in the future, I think the dev has a talent to build up such situations. Unfortunately, for this v0.4 version, judging from the gallery, no other such cases exist...
Version: P1 Steam For me Burning Boundaries is not perfect but still far above average, particularly in the writing. Yes the English is effected from time to time by direct translation from the original but far less than most games. More carelessly, there are times when a line is either spoken by the wrong character or indicated as a thought when it is clearly spoken. However, the real strength of the writing is in the plotting. I found myself frequently surprised and delighted by several of the scenes and there are far fewer porn cliches here than the vast majority of AVNs. Even when a scene starts with a well worn setup (hot tub, massage, photo-shoot etc), there is almost always a twist or two that makes it more original and intriguing. Apart from that, the models are all attractive, yet believable. I especially like that the two sisters look like sisters and perhaps it is just my imagination but it seems that their distinct life-style choices are reflected in their facial features. Regarding the AI graphics, unlike many others I do quite enjoy AI animation if it doesn't infringe copyright. I am agnostic about how art is created and prefer to judge it on its merits. And I find both the still and animated images of Burning Boundaries very pleasing - appropriate lighting, detailed sets, interesting camera angles and sensual movement. My rating would be 4 1/2 stars if that were possible. The aforementioned translation issues and, more importantly, the slips in dialog encoding are intrusive enough that I can't quite give it 5 stars. However, it's a very solid 4!
I actually finished part 1 and here is my final review: The Render Quality is very good most of the time with a few exceptions, the animation quality of both the hand made animations as well as the AI animations is poor. The writing is good. The game is teasing a lot. Many times characters chicken out last second or action gets interrupted by a third party member. To a point where the blue-balling gets annoying. Example: Birthday Party at the pool, Angelica chickens out when the MC starts to penetrate her, followed by Truth or Dare in the hot tub with Lara, Jane and Jessica and when the anticipation is build up the scene is abruptly ended (instead of ending with a hot Foursome in the bedroom or something like that) just for the MC to have to cheat on Lara again if the Player wants to get at least some Action out of that Scene sequence, but the Dorm sex is short, Jane isn't even joining in and the MC even leaves Jessica unsatisfied… what a disappointment. (Followed up by a hot Yoga Scene that also gets interrupted.) Also annoying is the whole office plot. No matter your relationship with Lara or your NTR settings, you get to view every single Office, Hotel and Business Trip scene and Tony will show up everywhere anytime. They are interrupting all the good scenes with annoying and completely pointless story dialog that adds nothing good to the game. It only builds up NTR tension to the game (even if you're not on the NTR path) that kills the mood and then the scene is cut off just before actual NTR would take place, leaving the player with the doubt whether it actually didn't happen or just wasn't shown. Especially because Lara thinks and says certain things over and over again, that give you the feeling she would love to give in to that Fantasy (again, even with her relationship maxed and/or NTR switch turned off). Tony is showing up everywhere, making Lara lingerie presents over and over again, rubbing into the players face that NTR would take place here if it weren't disabled... If there has to be an NTR path, so be it, but at least implement an enjoyable non NTR path, and that's just not the case in this game.

Its just not the same game anymore, it lost its appeal and what made it special to appease steam. The change of the relationship to sister, ruins a lot of the game and the whole aspect from before with dialogue fitting that relationship. Scenes removed or toned down, which is bad, some of those were great. Tony stuff also toned down and removed, I don't care about that stuff but I know some do, so that is also bad. Just very disappointed and letdown at the censorship of this game and it being ruined with the changes. The previous verison would be much higher, maybe 4 stars, but alas, that game is gone and will never be back. A big shame, this game ws special, now its just nothing special anymore. I am sad.
The characters are great, I love the sister rivalry relationship. The game manages to keep it appealing. I mean, the main female interest usually turns into the village bicycle. The consequence is a loss of interest and a critical key push to rush the end.
Review of version P1 Steam / 0.1.4 Yeah, since the Mega version lacks about 1000 renders, this is going to be a review of mixed versions. First off, great renders - really great, all 7000 of them. Characters are interesting, and even the non-NTR route is well written, with some minor inconsistencies. Many others have praised this game to the sky, so I'm going to bring a bit of criticism. The mechanic of recounting to the therapist is somewhat odd, with scenes breaking up and being retold either to the 'wife' or therapist, it just breaks continuity and misdirects the setup for a scene (Erica in the car for instance). Sure it breaks of the standard ctrl-forward, but its also just not working - looking forward to action with Erica, boom now something else, and then maybe Erica later... I don't know how to express this differently, but it feels like we're getting teased too much only to find release elsewhere. The thing is also, this is going nowhere slow. With 6 years of production and nearly 7000 renders, you'd expect there to be some kind of progress with each of the main LI's - there really just isn't. And while some routes are exclusive (Erica/Angelica) towards the last part of this update, its never really transparent. I don't know how many parts this will be in, and I'm all for replayability, but a game which heavily gives off harem vibes that lock you out of certain LI's, without transparency is just annoying - I'd like to be fapping, not figuring out complex interpersonal relationships from hints on when to (ingame) masturbate and not just observe. Also of particular annoyance is the black screen with a silhouette that apparently marks end of content, but please, just write that its the end of content... So 4 stars, plain and simply, good game, worth playing, but temper your expectations - you're getting a story and not a multi-LI relationship fest (yet anyway, its heavily teased).
Don't get some of the more negative or average reviews. Girls are hot, male MC isn't hideous or grossly stupid, there isn't too much awkward comedy thrown in, none of the sizes are 100/10 ridiculous, so everything is nice and grounded. What is there not to like? My only wish is that Dr Wick seems unfuckable and she is easily the hottest girl in the game. That's a crime.
This one is a mixed bag for me. I stopped playing because I got bored. tl;dr pretty girls but boring for me What I liked All the girls are hot and beautifully rendered. My favourite is Angelica, she just looks so fuckable from the get go. The other ladies are no disappointment either in the looks department. What I did not like The writer was trying hard to write in English and it shows. Half of the time the sentences come out right and the other half it is a mixture of incomplete sentences, wrong homophones or just straight up non-existent words. Overall it would not be so bad if the sentences were less pretentious. I did notice that people were praising the dialogue and some were comparing the writing to literature. I can't say I share the impression but perhaps I am spoiled by reading actual books. I digress. I was going for no sharing and no NTR so the scenes with especially Tony were quite annoying. I understand it has to do with the way the game structure is set up but still. The animations are clearly done by AI and so is some of the voice acting. The hot scenes are ok I suppose but why on earth would you animate and have voice acting for the discussions about the economy? No one plays the game for financial advice. It feels like resources invested on frivolous details that could have been applied better (on even more frivolous details). I wanted to bang the babysitter and the therapist but no luck so far. Also no luck with the babysitter's roomies. I got to bang Angelica which is a plus. The wife is hot but it's getting old after a while.
It's passable, good things going for it are the current amount of content and the renders and girls look great. (although there is next to no variety in girls age and build). I breaks for me at the MC and the story focus. The MC is a simp and lets people walk all over him despite it not making sense in the setting. The dev obviously has his focus on NTR and sharing. You can choose to not partake but for a lot of scenes then come out awkward and the MC will still keep his noodle spine personality, like the MC being all wishy washy in front of a man that could have been a bull for your SO (but in your playthrough nothing happened to make you insecure). I think the branching, if you can even call it that, is done very poorly. You have to follow specific routes and perfectly make the "right" choices to get specific scenes. And sometimes these choices don't even make any sense, so you'l want to get a guide or URM. I don't know about you guys, but I don't see the replayability in a VN that is not even finished. The focus in this VN is jumping all over the place, from character to character, from place to place, sometimes it skips some time without telling you and sometimes events take place at the same time for different characters. Makes it all feel even more incoherent. TLDR; My advice, if you are wooed by the pretty renders, is to skip the story completely and just unlock all the scenes. The story does nothing new or interesting, while the scenes are pretty good.
Beautiful renders gets 1 stars but seems like another wannabe auteur going for a PG rating instead of giving people a reason to become a supporter of the project. Isn't that the entire point of a prologue? Walk in on a beautiful woman in the bathroom and her arm is blocking her boob, why?!?! Then later shes in the shower and the focus is on her face, seriously? Give people something to look forward to ffs. MC is yet another example of a spineless beta that every women walks all over, doesn't help that he looks like a mongoloid android to boot. Story is fairly generic and unoriginal utilizing hammered out tropes. Still has a lot of potential but is giving me little to no reason to check back for updates.

Marking this game as a favorite for me, one of the best in 25 imho. Not sure why this isn't even higher ranked or i had to search in the searchbar to find it after a few weeks. Really nice job on the different paths, extensive storytelling and very nice imagery. Loved the complete story. I wonder if the updates are going to be progressive or i'll just have another go at it next year.

At the beginning I have to say that I'm glad that dev decided to change title. Babysitters didn't fit this one. First thing I'm describing is always plot. But here isn't really any plot. Game is full of slices of life of few characters and I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Just writing it, so people who'll read my review know not to expect anything big. Just a simple stories that won't rock universe. Writing is quite good, beside of some confusing characters thinking with speaking, you'll find a nice quality text and decisions in this game really matters. Personally I only didn't like occasional too long descriptions or chit chat of third characters that don't add anything to the story nor build characters or tension. But hey, there's a skip button for that Earlier I mentioned that decisions really matters and they very affect characters. Depending on love points amount they can be more/less sweet or harsh with MC or more/less open to some kind of sexual behavior. It opens many paths, but luckily there's a good walkthrough (as an option of course) and proper gallery, so you can decide, if you want to play all the paths or prefer to play one and check the gallery for rest like me. If it comes to characters progression, I played strict daddy with loyal cuckquean wife and I was kinda disappointed. Ok, Lara postpartum depression was a matter of time, but for all game long I feel that she didn't change at all. Even when she developed cuckquean fetish, she still sometimes was jealous or even angry on MC, she just didn't make any drama about it. As for her daughter I feel that she only changed when her daddy was around. She still was the same manipulative bitch ( damn, I hated when she exposed Erika face on her stream without her consent ) who sells her body on webcam, but was just less swearing and was nice to her daddy. The only character with real visible progress was Erika, but also here I'm disappointed. I'm used to that MC is corrupting LIs, but here almost all the job is done by Angelica and MC only get sexual profits. . Exceptional things in this game are graphics and animations. Especially the second is top level with perfect voices and sounds. Sometimes face expressions are weird and/or make characters look totally different, but it makes them more real. Bodies have amazing proportions and faces are very good, but not beautiful for my taste. The most beautiful is currently unfuckable ( Dr. Wick ), but who knows... we're collecting points for her. If you're looking for a game with top visuals, this game is definetely for you. You'll of course enjoy many other things and maybe some other paths will be more pleasurable for people with different kinks, but for me there wasn't anything exceptional, beside of graphics.
I have played numerous visual novels, and this one stands out as the finest I have ever experienced. The graphics are stunning, and the characters exhibit a wide range of diversity. The narrative possesses greater depth than any I have encountered before. It resembles an exceptional book that you wish would never conclude. I firmly believe that this will set the gold standard for many years ahead. I sincerely hope to witness an increase in BDSM and cuckqueen scenes.
Again in this game, like many others, all the women are young with bimbo bodies, while men of different ages are well represented. Why not find this hierarchy of ages for women? It seems that mature women are not appreciated.
