You play as Riley Weston, a young man who tries an experimental serum developed by his friend Jill, and inadvertently ends up turning into a girl. Riley and his friends quickly begin to accept the change, but little do they know, there are strange, nefarious forces at work in the shadows, and events already set in motion that none of them could've predicted, including a mysterious scientist and her loyal right-hand with twisted motives that threaten more than just Riley's life.... The female version of yourself was the person you were meant to be, it just happens in a, shall we say, "unconventional" way. As far as any attraction to males, this can be written off as mere curiosity, and then basically ignored for the remainder of the game, or you can embrace it, and say the desire was deep within all along. *To be clear, you are mainly a female protagonist, but there is an option to become Futa a a certain point **Harem options are being implemented, more planned *Futa content is avoidable, but the Futa characters are still fairly prevalent in the story.* *Male content is avoidable, except for the MC at the very beginning, prior to transformation *Game currently contains two female characters who become futas; their h-scenes are skippable/censorable, but the characters are still fairly prominent. *All "rape"-type scenes are now skippable/avoidable, depending *Contains scenes of brief graphic violence (not sexual)

This version will cover the first part of Chapter 6. *This update contains one new full day, similar to the last update. Along with further progression, there will be a couple of new characters introduced in this update which I won't spoil here, as well as a few new scenes, includiing a new Breast Expansion bit. *Though the story and everything is still the same, some early dialogue has been tweaked. - Jill shows more concern when initially meeting you in your room on Day 2, instead of being goofy about it so quick. - Emmett is less antagonistic when you first meet him, playing more to his calm coldness later on. - Before going out to the Cafe initially, MC is slightly less "excited" about going out, but still deems it a good way to try and take her mind off things. - The first romance choice has a better explaination about future possibilities with love interests. - It now takes slightly longer to reveal the name "Mr. Shadow". - This may have been in the last update, but the first mention of Clara now occurs on Day 1. Technical Changes: *This version is introducing a new feature that a lot of people will likely appreciate, which of course is re-naming Riley. I've been able to make it so you should not have to start a new game to use this feature, simply change the name in your preferences (if you do this, and then roll back, it will reset the change). * More early renders have been re-done, mostly from Day 3 and some from 4 (floating hands, sinking/merging limbs, etc). Also fixed a couple from Day 1, where male MC's thumbs are sinking into his coat. *New scenes involving characters being wet contain enhanced wetness effects. *Saves from early days should be alright to load, if needed. Once again, I would like to appologize for how long this update has taken, but I want things to be better going forward. The last few months have been very up and down for me, but I hope you can forgive me, and look forward to more updates. I may continue releasing partial chapters to get content out more often. There is no specific number of chapters planned, it will simply be as many as I feel are needed. What I can tell you is, as of right now, Cellular Shift is still quite a ways from being finished. Overall, an interesting story that made a fair bit of headway before it was eventually abandoned. There's a surprising bit of lewd content to experience from at least one perspective (the MC can remain a female or become a Futa with both sets), so it's worth making a save to fall back on to see alternative scenes. The game was abandoned, so it's difficult to ascertain if the story direction was building up to something meaningful. It seems like it was aiming for your typical good/bad/harem endings, though it's hard to say. While Riley and friends are the main focus of the story, as you get further into the game there's a tedious amount of time given to the evil organization's plans and their ongoing battle against the people investigating them. I found this to be rather boring, and with the game's development being abandoned before the plot could be finished, sadly irrelevant. It seems like someone has taken up the mantle of remaking the game, so if you liked this game, definitely keep an eye out for their progress. Overall, I liked my time with the game as I felt like the story, lewd content, and characters made my time worthwhile.

i didn't think people could make such an amazing game with chara studio but boy was i proven wrong when starting this game first off i wanna say that if the thought that this game is made with chara studio is turning you off just give it a change i'll tell you why in my review anyway let's start with the story and the characters it's honestly really good and the futa parts of this game makes total sense i could honestly see futa's being made this way IRL so that alone if amazing but let's get a bit into the actual story i'll tell you the short version to not spoil you to much because it's really good interesting and well written it starts with the mc still a guy taking a serum from his female friend and waking up as a girl and gradually starting to get used and liking to being a girl you can choose who your first time is as a girl as in the beginning there are 2 female friends and 1 male friend whichever you choose it doesn't block you off for future relationships then it starts to get more interesting with gangs and gang wars the futa serum part making more friends and getting laid more there is also an overarching story slowly building up really good stuff i won't tell any more of the story as i want you to experience it for yourself plus then this review would be like a harry potter book but it's clear the dev is really talented at writing good story's and writing really well written and Likable characters now let's talk a bit about the sexual scenes the fetishes the choices you have etc first off all regardless of who you pick to be your first it doesn't lock you out of anything just because you start with the male friend doesn't mean there won't be any lesbian or futa sex in the game now let's talk about the sexual scenes you will get in this game btw you can skip any futa scene if you want you can even outright censor it if you want which of course i didn't do because i'm a futa addict anyway there are blowjobs vaginal sex handjobs cunnilingus facesitting futa on female futa on futa even some futa on male scenes plus some other fetishes most if not almost all of them can be skipped if you want to you get pretty much everything in this game and they are all super hot well paced long but not to long with different camera angles and thank god no animation now you might be asking yourself why is that a good thing well if you have ever seen a honey select or koikatsu porn video than you should know how boring it is and how it ruins the impact yes the animation is professional quality but they are also stale boring and repetitive and this ruins the sex scenes for me especially koikatsu so i much rather have a porn game use limited animation or no animaton at all and focus more on dialogue and context camera angles and different positions plus the face's in this game are also really well done even more so for koikatsu the dev made sure to make them as good as koikatsu would possibly allow them to be which is impressive and shows the dedication the dev has to make something amazing with a program while impressive is still quite limited in what you can do in it in conclusion this game is not only incredibly well written and has great characters and an intriguing story incredibly hot and well paced sex scenes with just enough dialoge and length to make them truly amazing it also opened my eyes that people can make great games with even koikatsu this game is a gem in the rough and i highly encourage you to give it a try as i did

So far so good, even tho the art style is a bit too cute for my taste, over all I like this game a lot. It has an interesting story with good amount of humor in it. I had a lot of fun playing this game.

Usually I prefer to play as a male MC. But because of the futa-content I couldnt resist to try it. And I must say, that it was really enjoyable to play. The models are all cute for my taste and the story is very interesting so far, funny and - as mentioned by others before - crazy as hell. The only thing I miss, is the possibility to change the textsize. So thanks for your work and keep going.

Awesome scenes, interesting and enjoyable writing, lovely characters. Few spelling mistakes and misplaced "speaker" for some dialogues, but overall very pleasant game so far. I look forward to future updates!

Edit: This sucks. I waited half a year for this half-update and my cute tomboy Riley has been replaced with a saggy-titted bimbo. What an incredible let down. This game was in my top ten but I couldn't even finish the latest update. Fuck.

~Version 0.4.1 Review~ I love this game and its future potential. Cellular Shift is a 'build-a-harem' visual novel about an adorkable dude that switch-a-roos into an adorkable hottie. Anime dictates that harem protagonist draws attention from waifus, husbandos, shady gangs, and shadier druggie, underground laboratory. ~Waifus/Husbandos/Sex~ Choose between 3 starter Pokémon love interests: -water type childhood friend because, my God, she be thirsty for you. -fire type sexually charged chocolate minx. She's really hot. -grass type (the one no one picks first) childhood bro - you have a vagina now, so everybody has a high chance of getting some ass and pussy! The one you pick becomes referenced through out the visual novel as an official partner and you score some extra sex scenes with them at certain spots in the story (I hope the dev continues that). Don't forget, this is a harem game! You can Commander Sheppard the other 2 you didn't choose during the course of the story! Yuri/lesbian is very prevalent in this visual novel but there are 3 male npcs to interact (hanky panky) with, do note that 1 of them is non-consent though. Want to get dicked more? Enable futanari if you're into it. Looks like all encounters are and will be optional and story-forced scenes can be skippable (the non-consent ones.) I do think the dev will need to work on offering more males. Renders are made in Koikatsu, no sounds yet, but has a good handful of content to show. The climax faces are adorable. ~Gameplay AKA choices~ Short point. There are decisions in the game from choosing your starter, choosing who to bang (all of them - if you want to play correctly. You pick and choose who you want to harem) , story and plot decisions (I think one for now.) and even something as mundane as peeping which doesn't impact the game anywhere as heavy as the last 3. There's no galley yet, but no need. Have save a before each choice and a save before the bonus scenes with you starter waifu/husbando and you can get back to the sex. ~A Slightly Deeper Look Into Story~ A nice visual novel that starts out light and fluffy with a big plate of 'anime logic'. Which is understandable or else we'd still be a dude. The player followers the Main Character named Riley in his pursuit to find himself with his college experience in major Psychology and Minor Sociology. He finds himself as a female harem protagonist instead, but still an upgrade! Girls, guys, and trouble start to find him-her due to this awesome anime power of 'you brought this on yourself'. Our now delicious Riley's daily life now spirals out of control as Riley ends up accepting the new-and-improved Riley, encountering the next boss of a dangerous gang that ended up treating a waifu like shit, and generally having everyone in her panties! Oh, and that shady kidnapping organization wants to have Riley's cake and eat it too (you know which cake). The story is pretty straight forward. It unravels throughout the story with some flash backs. It's engaging, even if you're not here for the story. Cellular Shift is a nice female protagonist, harem-humping adventure (i've soo been wanting one...)that has a thriller-like story to it. Nothing to revolutionary but it's not bad by any means. I'd love to see where the take the game - 'plot', story, and all. I can say in all confidence you have nothing to lose by giving it a try if you don't mind most of the sex is girl on girl action. Also, nothing to change the MC's name - which may or may not be good because I'd totally name them Sheppard Commander.
