About Civilisation
Civilisation is a Ren'Py game by PNG GAMES where you play as a male protagonist through a humorous origin story. It begins with a universe of emptiness, then a sudden explosion brings stars and planets into being. Later, a small rocky world becomes home to confused, mostly naked inhabitants, and civilisation starts in a loose, comedic sense. The game uses 3DCG visuals, and each render is presented as part of the plot, changing alongside the characters as they develop.
The current build is a demo released on July 17, 2026. It is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac, with English text and no censorship. The changelog describes this demo as the initial release, so the latest update simply introduced the demo rather than adding further content.
Developer's description
In the beginning, the universe was mostly nothing. Just emptiness, and more emptiness, and some more... and then finally, a huge explosion or something like that gave way for things to get intense; planets, stars, planets, stars, and whatever else. Skipping forward to the important part to where a tiny rock went through puberty and decided to be home to slightly confused, mostly naked beings. And thus, civilisation began... kind of. Every render in the game is set to look as it does and is part of the plot. It will evolve as the characters too evolve.
