The Gooner is a Ren'Py adult game by Peregrine, presented with 3D animated visuals and click-based exploration. You play a male student who could not study abroad and returns to Goonerfell, his old home, to start over. The tone mixes humor with open-ended play, letting you move around Goonerfell and interact with Marie.
The 0.04c build, released October 10, 2026, is still in development and runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android. It is uncensored and supports English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese. The update adds the Flexible quest, featuring Marie’s yoga mornings with 200-plus images and 24 animated scenes, rollback, dialogue opacity settings, quick outside/home buttons, patron dream scenes, the first Android build with touch controls, FaceGoon, GoonWiki, GoonNews, a new backpack look, optional content filters, and easy mode with memory pairs.
