Reworking watering system rather than an integer amount of water that ticks down over the day(more or less based on the weather), it is now a boolean so a crop is either watered for the day or it is not.

*You will have to manually move the saves from your old data folder to the new one, these files would be savedata##.xml, global.sav and folders named Dungeon Data #. (The # means number), If there are no dungeon data folders don’t worry about it.
*In older saves incubator will lose all their eggs and the new companions will not be available for combat.

The game has a nice art style and the Big sex animations are extremely nice... Unfortunately a game about breeding monsters has very little breeding in it. If you play as female, moment you get knocked up, you cant have sex... In a game about breeding... And likewise if you get any female monster pregnant, you cant have sex with them either. So having sex in this game disables the sex in this game , and you are left with mediocre Farming / Turn based combat game. Unless you just wanna spam the gallery, which in turn isn't playing the game. Shame to see a game that makes pixel art sex that is 10/10, disable itself when you engage in the core mechanic of the game (Also you really should not leave a 2-3 year old roadmap that is out of date by a mile in your game, very unprofessional)

I was a supporter of this game a decade ago, and "beat" the story a few times since then at various points. I once naively had much higher hopes for this project, and especially the prospect of more HD sex scenes. And for what it's worth, said HD sex animations are absolutely incredible. The low resolution pixel animations, which are the bulk of the content and ongoing updates aren't exciting to me. The overall gameplay even less so. The breeding system ultimately doesn't matter and the RPG isn't that interesting. There are hunger/cooking mechanics that I found pretty annoying. Having more monsters on your farm to fuck should feel exciting but instead feels like a chore of having more mouths to feed. It's just tedious and a tragedy of missed potential. I found myself mostly just using the gallery to rewatch the HD sex scenes. You can find these on any r34 site. However the in-game gallery lets you choose colors of the farm monsters and speed of animations on the fly. So, it has that going for it.

Short version: Cloud Meadow is a game that has been in development for so long that the original farming/breeding sim has been long forgotten and remains likely forever incomplete. Now it's a mediocre turn based RPG with Super Mario RPG timing gimmicks, that somehow still remains unfinished after 10 years and actual millions in funding at this point. Long version: You could legitimately write a book on the shenanigans that went on with this game, it's actually the Star Citizen of adult game scams at this point. The original concept was a game called Breeding Season, a game that was outright sabotaged by the artist; now the head dev of Cloud Meadow. Cloud Meadow promised to be the same thing, a farming/breeding sim with some nice animations; that were cleverly shared on various image sites sold a lot of subscriptions and later steam EA purchases. That game, the breeding/farming sim, was never developed past alpha. There were never any new adult animations added past that initial offering beyond some tiny sprites, and the farming/breeding portion of the game was never really revisited. It still remains barebones and forever incomplete. But the dev couldn't scrap it because he'd get shit from both his subs and could never show his face on Steam again. So for the past *10* years he has instead been building an entirely different game on top of the original game; a mediocre turn based RPG with Super Mario RPG timing gimmicks. Content gets added at the speed of an aged tortoise, and yet people continue funding this for well over $10k USD a month. Play it from F95 for free if you wish to experience the disappointment for yourself, but considering there's almost no adult content anymore this game is actually competing against normal non-adult RPGs at this point. I don't think I need to go into depth here at how many far better games exist in that genre you could be spending your time on instead.

It's really one of those h-games that forgets midway what it is supposed to be. It wants to be a breeding simulator, it wants to be a porn game... it wants to be a lot of things. Back in the day, there was a game called Breeding Season if I'm not wrong, which was basically sabotaged by one of the developers of this game. Well animated all over the place with lots of different character body types. Strategic turn-based battles with decent difficulty rating. Lots of different monster breeds. The Bad: Some side quests with the protagonist only have sprite sex animation scenes. Would be nice to have fully animated (or both now that they already have the sprite sex scenes). The breeding component in the game is NOT the main focus of the game. The dungeon-crawl has become the main focus with the farming/breeding an afterthought with regards to progressing the story. Since the quality of animation for sex scenes is tied to the breeding (main-character centric), many of the interactions to progress the story don't yield good sex visuals. My biggest gripe is the protagonist's development. Sex with the monsters or random people is a given. There's no meaningful progression in how lustful or open or corrupt the MC is.

Honestly, it's sad for me to do this review, so I'll keep it short. I played this game YEARS ago and waited as long as I could to do a fair review, but this game simply procrastinates, lies, to avoid doing the basics: a plantation game with good sex scenes. Instead, we had perfect scenes at the beginning and then a series of pixelated micro characters having sex, you can't see anything. And to make matters worse, the game invents unnecessary mechanics to justify its RIDICULOUSLY long development. It's sad to see that if it had done the basics, it would have a good, simple game, full of stupidly good scenes, and it would have had the credibility to make a new game, to make a name for itself in this field, but no, this is just a shadow of something that could have been one of the best H-games in history.

A lot of ppl reviewing the game didn't read the rules of the reviewing on this website it seems. The reviews must be about the game itself rather than the developers Patreon (which is the only thing people seems to care about it seems) so im gonna try to ignore everything related to the devs and focus on the game itself. Game is mid. There's really nothing special about it other than it's AMAZING visuals and artstyle (probably one of the best in all of gaming tbh) It's main feature: Monster breeding - is pointless. There's really no benefits of doing it, you get nothing out of it. Same thing for another main feature: Farming - except this one is not only pointless but it's also punishing because God forbid you leave your farm for one day... cause if you do your crops will all just die lol. The only fun thing to do in this game is adventuring and fighting... but even that gets repetetive and boring because we still don't have fast travel feature so every time you complete the quest and unlock new level you have to go over same zones you cleared before to get to the new one. Combat animations are really cool tho. And yeah: Animations - Sex scenes are great... but you've all probably seen them on other websites many years ago, because there haven't been any new ones... This game really makes me sad. It really could have been not only the best H game but also one of the better games overall, but sadly it's not. Even ignoring all the drama it's still not a game you should play, especially for the H stuff.

The Bad: Some optional side quests with the protagonist are rewarded with lackluster sprite animation scenes when they should be full sex scenes like every other sex scene with the protagonist. The sprite animations lack a climax and are very short animations on loop. I'm a big fan of good sprite animations but these sprite animations are boring and not worth the effort to farm them. There should be more than 1 sex scene per gender for the main characters that can be unlocked later on through progress. We should have 2 or 3 per character to motivate the player to continue the story line and use specific characters to unlock the extra scenes. The NPC's around town should have high quality sex scenes with the protagonist. Also there are only a couple high quality sex scenes with humans which is pretty strange. I have come to a point where I have unlocked most of the amazing sex scenes with the protagonist and I feel like there is nothing left for me in the game since the sprite animations are subpar. Other Thoughts: THIS GAME IS FUCKING LOADED WITH GAMEPLAY/CONTENT! This game is far above 1.5 stars, I'm assuming a lot of this has to do with drama around the game. If you haven't been following this game for many years like some people on here you are really going to enjoy it. Most of the reviews seem to judge the game for what they wish it was and not what it actually is, and I think are being unfair or too critical based on a preconceived notion of the controversy over breeding season. For what it's worth I think the game is very good, and being an actual game I don't know the whole process but understand that the menial, unshowy work done under the hood is the most time consuming of all so I'm a bit more forgiving of real games and not ren'py trash. The animations and visuals in particular are incredible, probably my favourite of any western H-game to date and certainly up there with the best Japanese games. My only real complaints so far are that sound effects are absent in many places, and the UI design drags your mouse across the screen quite a bit. For example, there are number hotkeys for farming and monster interactions but not in battles yet. That way you don't have to drag your mouse back and forth to target enemies and pick skills. Other than those two things I think it's great.
