Who are you? Your mother is dead. Shortly after you bury her, your estranged father reaches out to you, requesting that you uproot your life to travel to another country and move in with him. Being a young, dependent adult, you accept his offer, despite the fact that he is hardly more than a stranger to you. Spoiler As a result, you've found yourself in a foreign household, in a foreign country, forced to restart your degree programme. The life you've lived thus far has made you an abrasive individual that struggles to accept the kindness and affections of others. However, attending this new university, meeting these new people and sharing in new experiences causes buried sentiments to become uprooted. You will question yourself. Your worth, your value as a human being, your intellect and awareness. You will grow. You will change. Whether or not you like it, these people will touch your soul, enter your mind and affect you in some way. Who will affect you? How will you be affected? That is for you to decide.

I think this game has a very original style, very artistc, even. Both in the narrative and the overall designs. The MC is a very interesting and mysterious dude, (with a model that draws attention for i'ts singularity even before knowing much of the story), and all the other characters are also intriguing and promissing (especially Celeste and her father: jesus christ himself haha), The characters really seem very real, profund, quick and/or smart, this always adds to the immersion. The dev also have a very special attention to the graphic details, transitions, textures and stuff. the scenarios are neat, the spicy scene(s) are(is) also very good, even more for a first release. Unfortunatelly i recently found out that my card doesn't work on patreon, but if he ever plan to put it on steam, i'll definitely buy it. This game seems like one of those that really deserve the recognition.

[Review as of v0.1] Thus far, I have to say that Devil Chile is quite a thought-provoking and compelling narrative experience based on my initial playthrough. My thoughts as summarized below: Key Takeaway Points: + The overarching narrative and character interactions are intriguing . The game does a good job of exploring the psyche of the MC who has recently been going through a rough patch in their life owing to the death of their mother and beginning anew in their life with a fresh start at a new University. I am led to believe that the MC does have some form of Schizophrenia as they are periodically wrestling with some invasive thoughts in their head about who to trust, what to believe, their sense of self-worth, and their opinions about various characters they encounter throughout the game. Devil Chile does a solid job at portraying these types of conflicting mind-play scenarios well, and it might be disorienting for some not being able to follow along, but if you are patient and read between the lines, you will find there is a lot more hidden beneath the service than you originally thought. + The soundtrack is good . I found that each track helps to portray the urgency of scenarios quite well and matches the overall theme/ambience that the game was trying to portray through its visual narratives. + Character models . While this may not be everyone's cup of tea, I personally thought that the models looked good. The main female characters were pleasant to look at and had quite charming and likeable personalities overall. Final thoughts: In summation, a very promising start. I am quite intrigued to see how the plot progresses from here. In particular, I am looking forward to observing how the MC will progress in his relationship with his step-mom, now that his inner subconsciousness has persuaded him to be more trusting/accepting of his step-mom and confide in her more to help him feel more at ease with himself about his current predicaments. As the game progresses, it will also be quite intriguing to see how the MC's relationship furthers with the other FMCs in the game and the intention behind certain characters (e.g., the individual who left the body out on the street whose motives are still not truly known). Some thumping good work thus far Babylon, and I look forward to watching your AVN career/future updates with enthused interest

I really don't understand what it was, but I liked it. Initially, I didn't understand at all what kind of chaos was going on, it was like an anime called Bakemonogatari. I got bored in the second half of the game, but at the end it's very interesting, and the choice matters. The characters look unusual and creepy, which benefits the atmosphere of the game. in general, I hope for a continuation as interesting as at the end of this 0.1 version of the game.

It's 2025 and I wanted to try something new, and I'd say we're off to a really good start. The models look unique and so does their wardrobe, the game reads well and it held my attention throughout. Big props for the Berzerk reference at the menu screen. The game has a cold open and leaves a lot of questions unanswered, giving only bits and pieces of context through MC's schizo babble and character interactions, but I'm sure with more updates, we'll get more familiar with why he is that way. I'm curious to see what happens next.
