Hotfix - v0.37 Hotfix - v0.37 Fixed a bug after playing Jenna that caused the game to give an error whenever MC thoughts occured. Improved the way the deadline with Mrs. Eliot is displayed. v0.36 Fixes & Improvements: Splash Damage: Splash damage can no longer land critical hits. Champions Abilities are here! (Read more below) Fixed an issue where the wrong card image was displayed when clicking on a placed unit during battle. All ability chances (Steal, Bleed, Poison, Piercing, etc.) are now visible in the Deck app. New visual effect added for "purge" buffs during battles. The Use button in battle has been flipped to mirror the End Turn button’s layout for better consistency. Mrs. Eliot’s Deal – Revamped: You’ll now need to face Mrs. Eliot in battle once a week (until Chapter 4 – don’t worry, it’s not permanent!). Failing to do so now comes with new consequences. You can track the remaining days in your to-do app, and you'll receive an in-game reminder the night before your final day. If you previously failed this event, it will now reset, giving you another chance to complete (or ignore) it. If you succeeded, you’ll simply be expected to continue with the new system. If anything has changed for you concerning this deal, you will be notified when loading your save. Bowman has been reworked — he now deals less damage but ignores 1 point of armor aswell as having a chance to pierce through units and hit the one behind too (Update 0.35). Potions can now only be used on humanoid units. Fixed the Throw button. Fixed a bug where clicking on a placed unit during battle could display the wrong card image. Champions – Unique Abilities Are Here! Each Champion now comes with a unique bonus, bringing distinct strengths and identity to your decks. Whether it's a passive effect, a triggered bonus, or synergy with specific unit types, these abilities will shape your strategy going forward. These abilities are already active in-game. Full descriptions will be available in the upcoming in-game Codex . While some of these may sound "too powerful", rest assured: internal testing is ongoing to keep everything balanced and fun. And yes — you’ll be able to play with other Champions starting in Chapter 4! Current Champion Abilities: Bran – As the King of Thieves, it’s only natural he empowers any card with a Stealing ability. Elise – Grants a health bonus to all low-cost cards. Elyra – Has a chance to Charm units on hit, preventing them from acting on their next turn. Gideon – What’s a king without treasures? Gideon gains a growing chance to generate an extra crystal each turn. Katrina – Master of the bow, she increases the accuracy of all Archers, boosting their critical strike chances. Sable – Her battle cry triggers on attack, boosting her army’s morale by reducing all allies’ Preparation Time by 1 and granting a chance to break control effects. Toric – The Beastmaster brings greater strength to the wild — all Beast-type units under his command deal increased damage. v0.35 Improvements/Features The Phone icon now shows useful information (day, time, and money) when hovered. Wallpapers : You can now set any picture from the gallery as your phone wallpaper. The phone's layout has been slightly improved accordingly. Gallery : Hovering over a picture now gives hints on how to unlock it. All images now display a number, making it easier to discuss them with others. Champions are no longer immune to control effects! If your champion is controlled, any ability depending on them becomes unavailable (currently applies to attacks, but a lot more interactions are coming). Saving During Battles: You can now save during battles! However, loading that save will restart the battle from the beginning. This solution offers a fair middle ground and feels better than disabling battle saves entirely. Balance: Many units have received stat adjustments — overall, most Crit and Agility values have been reduced, abilities have been strengthened, and several units have had their identity better defined to support a more balanced, and enjoyable gameplay experience. Read more below. Splash damage is now implemented in battles in preparation for the next Chapters. For now, only the Bowman uses it, but more cards will follow... Improved the way controls, Champion's armor and resistance and dots are displayed during battles. Double crits have been eliminated (they were extremely rare, but technically possible). All Champion cards have been optimized. Multiple screen optimizations for smoother performance. Optimized how battles handle images — this removed many unnecessary files, making the game lighter overall (the difference will grow with future updates). The Walkthrough now includes the locations of all pictures. Sauna's update: Once you've seen everyone else, it's now guaranteed you’ll see the girl more often than an empty sauna. Fixes The “Study with Jenna” objective now correctly disappears from the To-Do app once exams are over. Fixed (again) a bug with the To-Do app after completing Chapter 3. Sam's deck is now correctly updating with game difficulty changes. Resolved an issue where clicking on the phone’s wallpaper changed the time. Fixed a bug with the battle hit sound not playing correctly. Ember’s contact info now always displays accurately. Sam’s contact info has been corrected (you may need to wait for a new event to see the update). Deck units now properly update to match the current difficulty settings and latest game version. Fixed an incorrect error message when clicking a stunned unit in battle. Bran’s Champion card has been fixed. Restarting a battle now keeps the same starting player as before. Resolved an issue where enemy health could drop below zero upon defeat. Fixed a bug that occurred when closing the map while scheduled to meet Ed at the end of Chapter 2. v0.34 Fixed a bug with the to-do app after completing Chapter 3. Added a hint to guide players when standing in front of the university on exam day. Reordered dialogue options in Mrs. Gray’s garden scene to follow a more logical flow. Fixed an issue where a unit could incorrectly be placed in the first slot during an upgrade. Corrected an error message that could display the wrong reason when failing to upgrade a card. v0.33 Endless Play – Keep playing freely beyond the chapter’s end! New Hot & Intimate Animated Scenes – Enough said. Game Difficulty Selection – Choose between Easy, Normal, or Hard to tailor your experience. New Locations – Visit The Mall, Wear & Flair, The Beach, The Photo Studio, and more! Diner Mini-Game Update – A new difficulty setting and fresh rewards to earn. New Characters – Say hello to Oliver, Sam, Bryan, Amy, Wilfred, the Nexus CEO board, and a few shady agents… Battles of Mythria Expansion – Greatly improved AI, a new opponent has arrived, and all opponents now feature level 3 battles with exclusive rewards. Deck App Rework – Smoother to use and packed with new possibilities: play with fewer units or even go in unitless if you dare! 30+ New Collectible Pictures – Discover and enjoy them all! ✨ This update also brings a host of improvements, polish, refinements, and bug fixes to enhance your overall experience. A Walkthrough is available for supporters on Patreon and Subscribestar. Improvements: All animations have been upgraded with improved image and sound quality, thanks to a new format! Crystal cards now function like regular items—you can throw or use them. Your deck now displays the number of remaining cards. Duplicate cards can no longer be picked up while choosing a reward. The unit slots in the Deck App have been reworked — you can now easily remove units, allowing you to play with fewer than four if you wish. Major upgrade to opponent AI: Champions will now actively attack player units, choosing targets based on threat level, armor, and resistances to make optimal decisions. Opponents will now take multiple factors into account (based on the selected difficulty) to place their units more strategically. Complete re-read and polish of all existing dialogue — that’s over 6,000 lines! Numerous small typos and issues were fixed, and I’ll be more attentive moving forward. Thanks for your patience! Warning messages have been added before battles to alert you if your deck has few or no units. “Mrs. Eliot” now properly introduces herself as “Mrs.” instead of “Miss.” Ed’s questions have been updated to reflect the recent changes in the Deck App. After completing a chapter, the To-Do app will now offer tips on optional content you may have missed. Updated the level-up sound effect. Save files now show the chapter and progress. Smoother transitions at the end of Madison’s and Jason’s scenes. Chapter 2's final scene (Ed’s stories) now has a short version option. Added new expressions and poses for already existing scenes. Peeking in the sauna is no longer fully random—after a while, you’ll have a guaranteed chance of seeing “good content.” Skipping during battles now stops when the battle ends. Added a "Confirm" button to the difficulty selection screen, replacing the exit button. The to-do app now provides notifications when new tasks are added or updated. Many repetitive lines—such as those when taking a nap or battling—will no longer be repeated unnecessarily. Ed’s character proportions have been adjusted for a more balanced look. Several of Anya’s poses have been cleaned up, and her proportions refined. Battles in the to-do app are now sorted by time of day for better clarity. The “Voice” volume slider in the Options menu now also controls the volume of animated scenes. Added numerous new sound effects to enhance immersion. Iris’ solo scene can now randomly occur again after the first time. Minor visual enhancements to the options menu. Jenna's first battle has been tuned down. Fixes: Champions now level up properly on the Deck page. Armor and Magic Resistance now display correctly during battles. The Deck app now refreshes properly on launch, fixing new-card bugs and preventing errors from difficulty changes. Player health display has been adjusted (moved 1 pixel left and 1 pixel up). Fixed a bug that teleported the player to Madison after canceling a battle with Jenna. Corrected shadow issues on Gideon’s card. End-of-chapter screen links are now clickable even if you choose to continue playing. Music now correctly stops when taking naps. Ed’s third reward now displays properly. Mrs. Eliot’s name is now correctly shown during battles. The Hunter’s Cur now starts at the correct level, matching its owner. Very nice game, the card game is especialy good. The mechanics are easy to understand but not that easy to master. The story is quite common as of know, not bad but we should see if it improves in the next updates. Keep up the good work!

I'm quite fond of card games so coming across one that's pretty decent is always a treat. It's fairly simple to pick up but with enough room for depth to potentially keep it interesting. Which is the perfect place to be imo. However there are some things I'm unsure about. Item cards are single use. I suppose that's to give you a reason to earn money but I ended up just not really using them because of it. Which ended up making the card game less interesting. I do think the game could end up feeling grindy. But that will depend on how good a job the dev can do at keeping the ratio of card games to story content and introducing new interesting cards / mechanics balanced going forward. Cards also have a small chance to just dodge or block attacks. For some that chance is higher and there it feels more deliberate. It never really ended up playing a major role but I don't really know how to feel about it.

Yet another AI CG Game, but a surprisingly good one! Gameplay is fun. Even though its at an early stage, it's a nice card game the dev developed. Looking forward to the next additions he announced. The girls are cute and likable. Only "issue" I am having is the lack of H-Content, but I guess within the next few updates this will change.

Game is all around great. Art quality is great Animation while rare is of great quality Gameplay is fun without being too complicated difficulty options allow you to either dive into the game or just make it easy cause it's an H game Also dev is super responsive in the forum and addressing minor bugs

This was fire, a few hours of content. It ends at the end of ch 3 right now. Not too much nsfw just some hot pics. I played through the game on hard which wasn't that hard honestly, didn't lose a match until I jumped from level 2 to 3 without upgrading. The story is really good, I'm definitely going to stay updated with this one.

Rating as of 0.33 (Chapter 3) update. It's hard to find anything negative to say about this game, because the dev is listening to feedback and fixing or improving things with each update, and does hotfixes in between. The story is well written, the characters are relatable and varied, and the card game is surprisingly better than expected for a game of this genre. The dev is a good guy and answers questions in his discord. My only regret with this game is not discovering it later in its development. I'll back with each new chapter. I don't give 5 stars lightly, this one earned it.

Really wished I could give this a 4.5/5, but we can't win them all @_@ Reviewing at 0.23. At this early stage there's not a whole lot to write about just yet. The dialogue has been good so far, nothing too glaring in terms of grammar or flow. It's also obvious that the story is just getting started as I can't really piece together where it's going to go next. I'm still a little iffy on the whole AI cg thing, but it looks good and the one H-scene animation we've gotten thus far was good. Well, I guess two H-scenes, but still! A few things to note that I found so far: Some times an image would get stuck Example 1: Getting the tier breakdown for leveling up cards froze on screen even as the dialogue kept moving forward (including dialogue options for asking more questions) Example 2: hopping from the garden to the university via the phone's GPS will leave the image of the garden on the screen even though the dialogue indicated I was speaking with Ed in the library. Going back while in the middle of the card game lets you play cards for free Example: playing the Bruiser card and then going back leaves the Bruiser on the field, but not only do you get a Bruiser back in your hand, but you also get your crystals back. And the cards already in play all functioned. On my first turn I was able to fill every spot on my side of the field. So I do think there's some potential here and I'm looking forward to getting to know the characters more.

Very fun game. I've played about 3 hrs. Well written and quite amusing text, the ai artwork is good for what it is. The card game holds up so far, although it's rather easy to start. Still seems set up to get quite complicated later on, and is fun to play already. Then there is some point and click exploration for more lewds, good stuff.

Fantastic graphics and incredibly engaging gameplay truly set this game apart from the rest. I'm eagerly looking forward to future updates, new features, and exciting improvements. Keep up the amazing work—this game has so much potential and promises countless hours of enjoyment. Thank you for creating such an immersive experience

Underrated, Hidden Gem. But the only thing or main thing missing are H scenes but has a solid foundation and world to be build on. Hope we get more frequent updates. (Will update review in future patch)

Version: 0.1 It's still the first release of the game, so it wouldnt't be fair nor I will make a "too detailed" rating in this one. The first point that catches the attention in this game is the fact that the art is detailed and well done. It gives the feelings that it may be AI, but, honestly, as I mentioned many times before, I quite enjoy AI art when done the right way and this game , surely , uses it in the right way . The story is about a "good-for-nothing" young man who is invited to study in a University in the big city, apparently a good university. Given the fact that he has been invited and has "no costs" whatsoever with living, tuition fees nor anything, his peers regard him as some kind of genius. As we arrive at the city, we undestand that we still need to study for an admission exam. At the University, we are introduced to the "game" inside the game. Something that reminds me of Gwent, of The Witcher. A fun card game where your main objective is to destroy the adversary's hero, with a 5x2 field that you can use to summon both melee and ranged heroes. I must say that this minigame aspect is quite interesting. I really did enjoy playing the game, I just hope it's not overused like most Yu-Gi-Oh! old games, that uses the card game itself as a excuse for a poor storyline and "underdeveloped" characters. Other than that, I didn't really get any sex-scene in this update, but that doesn't really make me worried. The game seem to be well developed in matters of sex-story, so it's a good thing that there's no girl randomly throwing herself at us for no real good reason, as we see in most games nowadays. A system where we advance the story and get the sex-scenes as we're getting closer to the girl, or as a viable situation pops up, it's the ideal. Just like real life. Concluding, I really enjoy the game so far. It's well done, well polished and it has a lot of potential. Good job and good luck for the devs!

Very fun. Great potential. The story so far let me chuckle quite a few times. And the included card game is quite engaging. Can't wait for the next update. The imagery is very alluring. So far there is not a lot of NSFW content, but it is very promising. Especially a certain secretary.

I'll say first off that this had less than an hour's worth of content, but I'm rating it essentially as a preview, a taste of what the game could be. This is far more than a tech demo, there's a lot of story already written, and a lot of infrastructure already established (including a fully developed card battler game), which leaves me hopeful that this won't be one of those 0.1 uploads here that never go any further. My initial perception of this just from the page here was that it seemed very similar to Echoes of Destiny. It has a similar AI art-style, a card game that you the real person play, but it's also a card game that exists (and has massive societal impact) within the world of the VN. And it's literally called "Echoes of [Blank]." So yeah, it probably drew some pretty heavy inspiration from Echoes of Destiny. But one thing I definitely like better about this is the actual card game. Echoes of Destiny just had that tired old "Triple Triad" game which has already been reused by other adult games before. That game, to me, seems to be mostly about just having better cards than your opponent. And hey, it certainly helps in this game too (as it should, or else there would be no point in trying to obtain better cards), but it feels like you still have a meaningful chance of winning just by out-thinking your opponent. Of course, out-thinking your opponent is easy when it's just a dumb bot, I don't exactly feel proud of beating the first two opponents on my first try. But I'm not a power gamer, so it's not about pride. It's about fun , and this game was a lot more fun for me than the one in Echoes of Destiny. I hope to see more.

I'm looking forward to seeing this progress. The artwork is stunning, the characters are at least moderately interesting, the plot and dialogue seem competently written, and the card game mechanics are simple but enjoyable. Not much here just yet (in v0.1), but I'll definitely check back on this one.
DeviantDM 2024-08-15
(v.0.1 Review) There's some solid bones here, but as expected from such an early version there's a lot of improvements that could be made. Also, my typical "AI Art" disclaimer applies here; it passes my initial sniff check, but if AI art offends your sensibilities then best to move right along. The core card-playing system is nothing new, but is certainly entertaining. It follows a winning strategy of keeping the core mechanics extremely simple, with layers of complexity being added within the cards themselves. New key-words and interactions introduced with new cards encountered serve to show rather than tell in building the potential depth. That being said, there was at least once where one of my unit's attack 'missed' with no explanation that I could find. My biggest wish for the future of this game is to translate this concept of story-telling by action rather than exposition into all areas of the game - something that is currently lacking. Let's face it, many porn games are going to be pretty poorly written and I would say that Echos of Mythria is mediocre at best. What's interesting to me, however, is that there are glimmers of hope that peek through. The author clearly knows how to lay out a plot, introduce interesting interactions, and set up the basic hook and breadcrumb story-telling. While the plot so far is nothing revolutionary, I would be lying if I said there weren't times when I was genuinely interested in seeing how things unfold. What really suffers here is the writing, the dialogue specifically. The dialogue is not offensively bad, but definitely reads like it was written by someone who is a non-native, albeit proficient, speaker. Certain phrasing is jarring and unnatural sounding, especially when framed from an American setting. It wouldn't be such a distraction if the game's dialogue also wasn't overwritten. There are far too many internal expositions in-between character dialogue that are unnecessary or uninteresting. It's almost as if the author doesn't have the confidence in the audience's ability to make sense of any of the MC's interactions and needs to spoon-feed you their interpretation everything. And I mean every-little-thing. It's this combination of being overwritten by someone who doesn't quite have the grasp of the language's nuances that made me stop playing early, despite being interested in the game overall. It became too immersion-breaking for me to really get into it. The good news it, that it seems like the creator actually has the right ideas and generally knows how to execute them. Nobody is perfect at everything and if the dialogue could be massaged by someone better equipped to express these same ideas in a more compelling way (and isn't afraid to delete bland exposition) then I see a lot of potential here!
