About Essence of Destiny
Essence of Destiny is an adult RPG adventure created by MeliosariusC with RPG Maker. You play Denoir, a boy raised in forgotten slums where life is grey, cold, and quiet. His search for the meaning of Destiny leads him beyond the city into dark woods. Rather than a quest to save the world, it is a personal journey to understand the world and himself, and to discover whether fate is fixed or can be broken. The game presents a sandbox structure with 2D visuals and animated 3DCG.
The game is currently in v0.2 development, released on June 10, 2025. It is available for Windows, with English text and uncensored adult content. The build combines the story-driven exploration of Denoir’s journey with the sandbox framework already introduced in the earlier part of the game.

There once lived a boy named Denoir. He grew up in the slums — a place where names are forgotten and people survive, not live. Life was grey, cold, and quiet. But Denoir wasn’t like the others. He had a question that wouldn’t leave him alone: “What is Destiny?” Spoiler No one had the answer. Some laughed. Some cursed. Others said it was a cruel joke from the gods. One day, he stopped asking. He started looking. That was the day everything changed. From the slums to the dark woods beyond the city, Denoir’s journey began — not to save the world, but just to understand it. To understand himself . And to find out whether Destiny was something written… or something waiting to be broken....
