Work. Suffer. Repeat. Work. Suffer. Hmm... Hello ladies. Repeat. A short experimental novel. Dystopia and melancholy. The life of an ordinary man and his drudgery at the factory. Ambiguous choices and four grey endings. To be honest, I no longer know if I should keep writing or just clock in at my own factory and stop struggling.

Now, i feel totally justified in stating that this game is a little masterpiece. If anything the art, so well concieved, always underlining the tone perfectly, with a style that remembers impressionism is absolutely gorgeous. But the story himself have the quality of actual novelism. Touching, grounded, at moment a punch in the stomach. The few decisions the player is called to take might leave a bitter taste in your mouth, just like a mors tua, vita mea choice should to. Albeith it's a very short little game, i'd recommend to anyone to play it. I really hope to see more works from Paper Sun here.

This game was really surprising. I was not not sure what I was walking into but I was pleasantly surprised. I like the concept, the story line and art. It is very unique and different. I am a big fan of realistic dystopian work. The world building, hints of war and other ideas flow smoothly through the game. I wish it was much longer and had more content but I also appreciate the short version.

The first thing that caught my eye was the character art, especially Anna's. I started playing it thinking it was just another game from this site, but what a surprise the story was! Also, I loved the happy ending.

Came for porn. Did not even touch my dick and still like it. Need to say more? The style of the art, THE SOUNDS, the setting. Very good experience. There is little porn but this PIECE OF ART is frankly above it.

Honestly quite disappointing how this turned out. The setup was really interesting but it turns out no quality payoff is given, no matter how you decide to act. There arent even any real spicy scenes so it could be argued that this story should get the "no sexual content" tag. The closest thing you get is to see some naked girl models standing in front of your desk if you decide you wanna exploit all the females and risk your factorys productivity. Also there are some rewrites from the last version to this one concerning the old content - what I always strongly dislike (choice how to deal with Anna got changed from "exploit her weakness" to "help, but not for free" (including some changed dialogue and storywriting in the games dialogue if you pick said option)). Not cool. IN the end its pointless anyway, the endings are all dull and lame. Its honestly the best if you never do smth and ingnore every choice. Just stay in the factory and keep working... to get the best ending. Best thing about this VN are easily the artstyle and premise. 2 stars for that.

Set in the titular factory, your MC wakes up to the same daily depressing work routine just to get enough to eat. There are a few named characters, not that many choices and a few different endings. It’s a very short game. Also this is not a porn AVN - there’s no sex, just a few nudes - and those you get only if you choose to Spoiler exploit your fellow workers On the plus side the dev captures the Orwellian setting well – the oppressive system, the desperation of the characters trapped in a never-ending routine (don’t expect lot of cheer or hope here!). The art is gen AI (with what looks like some manual touch-ups) and though generally not a fan here it's used effectively. Most images have the filter of a traditional thick oil painting ('brush strokes' clearly visible) style. They capture the overall depressing mood well even if at times characters’ expressions have that uncanny valley look. After the story picked up some pace – choices having real consequences, getting some of the MC’s background and personality, developing relationships, etc, it's disappointing the conclusion of the game felt so rushed. It's almost like the devs built this intriguing little world but they run out of ideas on how to finish the story threads properly.

I loved the setting. The story is very entertaining too. And the art is superb (AI or no AI, if it's good, it's good). That said, if you're looking for porn, this isn't the game for you. There are some suggestive scenes and some nudity. But you won't find any actual pornography.

Its good if you like linear VNs with a few choices that lead to different endings its not so bad at all. My only gripe is that there could very well be a gameplay loop added to this. Just reading is barely a game to me if I'm honest. But for what it is its good. I kind of liked the political stuff too and I find there are many modern examples of what happened in the game. Which I will spoiler since that is actually the most interesting part. Spoiler: Spoiler So you get the option to flee the oppressive "regime" into basically another oppressive regime that is fantasy NATO in its modern state. So instead of striving for worker rights you're striving for the rights of "minorities and women." While you're the big, bad oppressor for being born a white male. Sounds about right. People could take this the wrong way but I think it really shows the desperation of modern men trying to deal with societies that do not really offer them anything of value. They're thrown into factories, thrown into wars but rarely is society grateful for any of it.

fresh and therefore interesting setting. The introduction into the dystopian world was and the setup was good, also the ai images blended in well and enhanced the atmosphere. But what starts out as an interesting storyline with controversial decisions quickly turns out to be a sham. It seems as if the creator lost interest and hastily cobbled together a few absurd endings. This is also evident in the out-of-context environments and characters that appear towards some endings. I tried all of the "endings" but its waste of time..unfortunately

Unexpectedly geniunely impressive, not as an adult game though. It's a very short project that lasts for around 15 minutes for one ending, and like 10-5 minutes more if you want to see all other endings. You work at a factory in a vaguely USSR environment, everything is bad (and can get worse). Great sound design with geniunely good stylised AI art (i die inside a little saying this but can't deny that it works) create a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere which i appreciate. Narrative is full of despair and grime even in the best endings, everything feels dirty and writing is surprisingly solid. However, as i mentioned, it's just not a good adult game. You pretty much just get a couple of nude CG's and no real descriptions of the acts, just implications. And second, while it's a small thing, a personal advice to developer. "If you are easily offended go play Farmville", really? Maybe do not put your undeserved arrogance upfront and don't try to alienate people who are actually trying your game, whether they are easily offended or not. I recommend for the future to reign your attempts at this in and makea normal disclaimer instead. Also the extremely short format kinda prevents this from being great, since you definitely need more screentime to develop various storylines and connections, but for the first time it's very solid and i'm curious to see future projects in longer form.

Not much of a game. A couple of choices. Either you try to be a good guy and it's game over. Or you play the arsehole and then you'll see some pictures of a naked girl. It's very lazy (not surprising coming from a gen AI game). The only good point is that you'll finish the game in a less than 10 minutes. Of note: the game is obvisouly written by an incel (once again, not surprising come from a gen AI game), so don't expect any kind of depth

Not the biggest fan of AI art but I do like unique writers having an opportunity to make something of their own. A shame its over so soon, really enjoyed the world and paths that were made. Definitely needs a little more depth, a slower buildup, but excellent first game. Hope the dev continues to make more things. 7.8/10 rounded up to 4/5 stars

I'm not usually write reviews, but for this project I felt the urge, mainly to show support for the developer. The atmosphere is excellent, the graphic design is uniqe, and fits perfectly. I understand, it is meant to be a short story, but I hope there will be a place for a sequel. Good luck

Too early to give final meaninful rating. The game is too early on the development stage. No content to speak of. It perfectly captures and conveys the atmosphere of a depressive small town in the fictional exUSRR republic. Where everything is dread, grey and bleak. The only option to survive is being a mindless drone on a factory. If the game shows what someone is willing to do to live yet another day, it could develop to a meaninful psycological drama. But obviously I have no idea what direction the dev is planning to take it. Nevertheless if you are looking for a lighthearted slice-of-life fap story, this is not it.

Well written. Nice pacing. Very good graphics (though the generic AI still peeks through in a few shots). As others say, there is lots of potential. It's refreshing to see something dystopian that isn't cyberpunk.

I do actually like this, the dystopian setting is amazing, immerses you into the era straight away and what is what like to have lived back then. Looking forward to the next update to see how it will evolve. Thank you

Factory [v0.2] has had a very successful launch. The artwork offers a fresh style, moving away from the glossy look and overly proportioned super-blondes. The characters' anatomy is accurate, and their emotions are clearly conveyed. The writing style is good, although I'm not able to check for all errors myself, as my English is only rudimentary. I also like the MC's position. He's not exactly in the best position himself, but he has to decide where he wants to stand. He's under pressure from above and has to decide whether to endure it or find ways to make the best of the situation. This gives me hope for some interesting moments in the future. My only criticism at the moment would be the brevity of the current version 0.2. This game has definitely earned a spot on my watchlist.

Review Version: 0.2 A very promising demo. The dystopian setting has some "Papers, Please" vibes. The art style is very fitting and looks great and unique. Currently, the game is very short and gives you only one choice. But it gives enough of a glimpse that shows that this might be a gem in the making.

Bite-sized Factory is a very interesting project. A healthy and secretly uncommon combination between a newcomer developer's ideas and AI's use put to capture their vision beautifully. The plot feels like it wants to lure you into paying attention -not needing to just skim through or, worst-case scenario, read and immediately see what's next-; the script oozes carefulness from Dev to tell the story; the ambiance is exceedingly grim, depressing and mundane -which was/is the point-; AI renders and, ultimately, LI's are astonishing; and creative choices, such as MC walking to the checkpoint or him dreaming about LI and very quickly indeed switching to waking up , have genuinely put a smile in my face for how good I found they are. The only negative thing I can say is this VN suffers from a good problem, possibly the best issue VNs could have: the script is still very short. With some +300 lines in total, and despite the fact that it's brilliantly put together, the story needs, nay, I need to see more. To sum up, Factory is a superb first project. The story, albeit brief as of v0.2, is really, really well-put together. Dev managed to outdo themselves by mixing his ideas with their use of AI in the place it can shine the most. I'm looking forward, with bated breath, to see this VN grow bigger. And if this little sample is a sign of things to come, it will.
