About Fairytail Village
Fairytail Village is a 2D CG fantasy game from Destriarch, built in Unity. You play a human official assigned to Skara Brae, where a government policy requires monsters to live in approved reservations. Your work is to construct the settlement, handle approvals and administration, and help resettle and rehabilitate its monster girl residents. Gameplay centers on building and running the island. The job may be lonely at first, but some residents may attract your attention.
The current build is v002, released on February 20, 2025 for Windows and Mac in English, with no censorship. Development is ongoing, as this version is a quick hotfix rather than a finished game. It corrects a bug where the last tutorial conversation could repeat instead of showing the reward scene. Older saves should still work, though players may need to finish that conversation once more to receive the reward.
Developer's description
Under a newly-approved (and highly racist) Government Statute, all monsters are to be deported to approved reservations where they can live their lives safely, comfortably and without bothering the human population with their weirdness and general non-humanity. You have been assigned as the legally-mandated 'human in charge' and designated construction contractor for the monster reservation at Skara Brae. You will be responsible for building this settlement from the ground up, as well as helping to approve, administer, resettle and rehabilitate its inhabitants. As the only human on the island, it's likely to be a lonely job. Or maybe not. Some of these monsters are pretty cute!
