About Faulty Wish

Faulty Wish is an adult Ren'Py visual novel by PinkHeartGamez. It uses 2D CG, AI CG, and animated visuals, with a male protagonist at the center. The story begins after a non-benevolent god grants wishes to one hundred random people, but more than half of them die because the wishes do not match what they expected. The protagonist survives and stays inside a government compound for these people. He keeps to himself for personal reasons, yet problems elsewhere in the compound make him decide whether to change, move forward, or remain alone. Romance is part of the experience.

The current build is Chapter 0.5, released on December 3, 2023. It is the initial release, so this is an early build rather than a finished version. Windows, Linux, and Mac are supported, and English is the language. It is uncensored. The latest update entry only marks this version as the initial release.

Developer's description

In a world were 100 hundred random people got their wish granted by god what do you think would happen? What if that god wasn't benevolent, what if he didn't always give you what you asked for. Well this time it led to more than half of the people who got their wish dying. However our protagonist avoided this unfortunate fate and took refuge in a government compound meant to house these individuals. After locking himself away for personal reasons trouble in the rest of the compound has him debating whether or not he will finally change and start to move on with his life or just kick back and live in solitude. Also people might die but that is neither here nor there.
