About Fear the Dark Shadows
Fear the Dark Shadows is a romantic fantasy horror adult game created by FTDS using RPGM. It uses animated 3D CG visuals and follows a young male protagonist living in the world of Dark Shadows. At first he deals with ordinary daily problems, then gradually gets drawn into supernatural forces. The story is only loosely tied to the original movie, which mainly inspired the setting.
The current build is v0.5.5, released on August 3, 2024 for Windows in English, uncensored. Development remains ongoing. This update fixes many bugs and adds a Quest Helper accessible from the in-game phone under Routes. From the bedroom computer, players can enter a custom name for the protagonist and customize relationships with other characters. It also fixes Stacy’s first scene and makes the cleaning mini-game work so the scene with Carolyn can be completed. The Demon Fight now includes a tutorial.

This is a romantic/horror game set in the world of Dark Shadows. In the story, we follow the everyday life of a young guy who initially faces minor daily challenges, but as the story progresses, he becomes more and more entangled in the world of supernatural forces. The story itself is only loosely connected to the original movie; it mainly provided the foundation for the idea.
