Review version: 0.1-Final It's hard to get excited about Fiancée. The developer started out with Unholy Angel. Unholy Angel had some pretty clear inspirations, but it was distinct and telling it's own story. That story had two protagonists (both the male and female half of a couple) and a lot of ways the story could develop based on your choices. BunnyDevil made it clear when they cancelled that project that they had bitten off more than they could chew, and would scale down the size and scope of the game. To me, this was perfectly fair. From writing to art assets and coding and managing the logistics of all that: BunnyDevil had signed themselves up for a lot of work. So in Fiancée, we see the slimmed down game with a smaller scope. One of the most prominent changes is that there is no male protagonist anymore. No more scenes of him at work, and the flirtation with his coworkers that could turn into cheating. His character is still more-or-less in this game, but just as an NPC now. If this is where the changes stopped I would be very excited by this game. Yes, the loss of the male protagonist is regrettable, but if something had to go that would reduce the scope of the project into something more achievable, that was the right choice. But other things have changed to that dim Fiancée when compared to its predecessor: chiefly, the use of AI. AI art is now more prominent in the game. It's one thing for AI art to be used for things that aren't really important or prominent, like our protagonists car or some one-off background that is only ever used once. But in Fiancée, BunnyDevil is using AI artwork even for our protagonist--art that is core to the experience. And it really just distracts and detracts from the experience. Unholy Angel's art gave it a unique charm. Yes, some of it was clearly tracings based off of well known porn stars, but still, that too gave it a certain charm ("oh look, I guess Gianna Dior is one of my coworkers" ). However, with AI art, the characters start to lose their distinctive traits and all of the unique style is gone and it just feels...bland. Perhaps even worse though, AI is now doing a significant chunk of the writing for the story. Again, it would be one thing if it was just handling the Ren'Py code, I don't think many people would care that AI was helping BunnyDevil track variables and all the other behind-the-scenes stuff. But the writing has very clear and pronounced AI voice. It's full of phrases and structures that AI loves to use. Maybe this won't be so bothersome for some, but it was very distracting to me. AI just doesn't have any creative spark, it doesn't know what motivates characters, what drives them, and why scenes matter. I really do wish BunnyDevil would drastically tone down this use of AI. If they did, I think this new slimmed down vision of the project really does stand a chance of not just being completed, but in standing out as something truly special.

Any game where a sex scene is imposed on me without the possibility of avoiding it is a bad game! It doesn't matter if it's your boyfriend/husband or anyone else. Adding one picture with the choice of "Just cuddle" will not affect the plot in any way, but the player will have a choice! In its current form, the game doesn't really give you any choice. In fact, it's kinetic, which doesn't give you a choice in which direction to follow. And with a minimum of content. It's not worth paying attention yet.

Very reluctant to give this game a good review due to the fact this dev had a perfectly good game before, that was essentially getting to the good bits of the story. I fear this game is just going to end up the same way with no meaningful content being shown.

Fiancée: Forbidden Destination [v0.1-Teaser] I don’t get why the dev made this when he already released pretty much the same game before. I don’t know, man, something about it just feels scummy. This is exactly why people don’t want to financially support devs. The characters are the same, and so is the art style. Since it’s only a short teaser, there’s not much else to say except that I really dislike the single-choice system. Why? I would understand if you offer multiple choices but otherwise it just kills the flow of a visual novel.

I've always had a weakness for this style of drawing, but then there's the interesting plot, and these two factors definitely make this game my favorite. As for the dev previous game, I do not condemn, but even approve of the adjustments in the plot, interracial ntr/qos/bnwo is very popular now and is becoming more popular every day, so it is quite natural that many developers review and improve their game. Good luck, Dev <3

Just a teaser so far, but I loved where the original game was going before development ended. It had the potential to be a newer version of Good Girl Gone Bad. Hopefully the teaser is a sign that this game will skip the flashback scenes and just stick to expanding the present day content.
